19 months and still waiting for a replacement green card !!! Uscis are without doubt the most inept people I've ever dealt with !!! Tried countless times to get through to a live person!!! And pigs 🐖 might fly !!! Even tried calling local uscis office to obtain an infopass appointment for a passport ADIT stamp and again a stupid automated response system 🤬🤬🤬 uscis is a total circus 🎪

my friend filed in june 2021 for i-90 still no card until now
I'll keep playing the waiting game 😆

Do you need to travel internationally soon? If so, call USCIS for an InfoPass appointment to get an I-551 ADIT stamp.
Thanks for the info 👍

Ours was left by UPS in the USCIS mail room on November 13 and we are still waiting... I’ve seen in this thread that other filers who sent theirs around the same date have recently had their card charged/cash checked. Hopefully before Christmas 🤷🏼♂️
Fingers crossed 🤞🏻 for us both 😁 it would be a great Christmas 🎄 🎁 🎅🏻 gift

Having now officially booked both my medical in Knightsbridge, and my Embassy interview appointment, I'd like to just lay out everything that I have just to double-check that it's all in order! Any advice would be greatly appreciated, and wish me luck!!
1. The Medical
I have my medical history summary, vaccination records, ACRO, UK & US passport pictures (I know they only need one sort, but I want to make sure that I'll be safe!), the completed medical questionnaire & my passport.
As my fellow Brits will know, and as my nurse today pointed out, we don't offer the Hepatitis B vaccine, nor do we offer flu jabs except to children and the elderly. Yet both are required for the immigration process. I've recently read that these vaccines can be administered before I apply for AOS and therefore after my POE, but would people recommend that I try and get them BEFORE that while still in the UK? My nurse did say that she can administer the Hepatitis B vaccine, but it will have to be paid for. As for the flu jab, I'm unsure if I can get one due to flu season technically ending now. My medical is booked for March 27th, so it is still just within American flu season... oh the conundrum!!
2. The Interview
I have my DS-160 completed and printed, my passport, courier information submitted/ premium delivery paid for, a legal copy of my Birth Certificate, American Visa photographs, proof of my relationship (dated photographs, plane tickets, etc) and the I-134 is being filled out by my sponsor (fiance's sister, due to my fiance being between jobs right now). I've booked it all and paid the fees. The interview date is April 15th!
The general consensus I have from everybody is that London is okay with a sponsor filling out the I-134, even if it isn't the petitioner. My fiance has his records from last year while still employed, but left his job to switch careers last month, so he can't fill out the I-134 completely, nor will his evidence line up how they'll want it. As such, his sister has offered to support me financially and look after us while he gets situated in a new job. Would it be okay to produce an I-134 from only her? And does anybody know how long it will take my passport & Visa documents will arrive with me after the interview, provided I don't have any issues?
Have you got your police certificate it’s required at medical

We all feel that way too. I’m 3 years into this journey (at RoC stage) and it’s always a source of stress, worry, and overthinking. The time period between approved AoS and RoC though, where you’ll have nothing to file, is a great time
Having just passed our AOS interview and receiving my green card tomorrow 😅😅😂 there sure is no better feeling knowing there’s no paperwork or Uscis fees for nearly 2 years 🤪🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

Still sealed?! I don't have the sealed envelope I was sent with my visa - I gave it in at immigration and they never gave it back to me...... should i be worried?
You don’t get I693 till you apply for your AOS
-
So we had our AOS interview yesterday and got approved ☺️☺️ but it said on our interview notice to bring a completed I693 medical which we bought to our interview still sealed, however the interviewing officer never even asked for it 🤔🤔 #Confused

So uscis have finally scheduled my AOS green card interview on December 20th,currently I am home in the Uk for Christmas on vacation till January 4th,now I’m panicked our interview will be scheduled whilst me and my wife are still on our vacation !!

How long do you plan on being away??
The interview notice is sent out 4-6 weeks before the interview date, so even if you are away, you could just cut the trip short and immediately come back.
The AoS interview can only be rescheduled due to emergency, I think. And even if they do, it can take them months again to let you know when the new date and time are.
We will be in UK for 2 weeks just before Christmas, maybe we will not need to worry as I guess USCIS closes for the Christmas period 😶🤔
-
Having just received my notification that they are ready too schedule my interview since May 31st 2018,I will be flying home in December and now I’m panicked that they’ll schedule aforementioned interview whilst I’m away,is it possible to change interview dates if need arises

Hey! I'm from the UK also, in March I went home using AP. Flew British Airways also
Had absolutely no issues! Took my marriage certificate as my passport is still in my maiden name, passport, my NOA1 for AOS, and the combo card. Was a very smooth process coming back in!
Wrote about my entire experience on my blog if you want full details of the process:
Enjoy your trip
Thank you so much ☺️☺️

Hi,I am flying too the Uk for a holiday in December with my American spouse for the first time since I have obtained my EAD and travel combo card,I’m flying using British airways I assume as I’m currently waiting for my green card interview I won’t need ESTA too re-enter the United States,I will be taking the official marriage certificate and all USCIS paperwork we have as further evidence of my current immigrant status.
Has anyone else recently flown back too England using advanced parole
still waiting for replacement green card (split topic)

Haven't tried with the infopass response, no idea that was the way to get through to an actual person
