    Hi!

Has anyone's case been transferred to NBC recently? Im SRC receipt, first TSC, then transfered to VSC (because filled I-751 with divorce/abuse waiver), and now apparently NBC since December.

Our case got transferred from WAC to NBC in late November.  Soon after so had Biometrics and yesterday I got my green card in mail. Approved with no interview. ☺️

Has anyone else filed form 400 for citizenship even though the ROC i751  is still pending and long overdue?    My wife is here three years on the 3rd of November and we are seriously considering dropping the citizenship forms in.  Thoughts ?   thanks

I filed in July. WAC service center and my case got transferred 5 days ago to a new office and I got the date for biometrics ( I still didn't have one for I-751). So, finally it's moving. 😊

Not sure if it might be because we’re CR1 instead of AOS. @IkaStuart Are you also CR1?

@Elethiomel you might want to also download the “case tracker for uscis” if you have an iPhone. Just add your cases and it shows status. Also provides links for I-94, uscis Office locators, aos filing charts etc. Makes life a lot simpler than logging into MyUscis every time :)

    No. I am AOS

I was wondering when the first ones on here are getting their biometrics appointments. My NOA date is a week before yours and I haven’t received a biometrics letter yet. Did your status online change to biometrics appointment scheduled?

No change since 10/16. It still just says Case was received. I see that May and August are starting to have their Biometrics so I am not worried about us.

    Timeline so far:

    • 10-08-2019:  I-751 Mailed to Dallas USCIS PO Box (USPS Flat Rate Box)
    • 10-11-2019:  USPS delivery confirmation
    • 10-16-2019:  Text received confirming receipt number; case found in MyUSCIS system several hours later
    • 10-17-2019:  Check cashed by USCIS
    • 10-21-2019:  I-797 NOA received (Notice Date: 10/16) of acceptance
    • 11-01-2019:  I-797C NOA received (Notice Date: 10/25) for Biometrics appointment on 11/12

Wow. So interesting that we have such a similar timeline. What service center is working on your application? I didn't get biometric appointment yet ( although, here in Hawaii, we get everything later)

    Hi Everyone,

I sent my package at the beginning of October and received my extension October 15, for 18 months.
I have to renew my driver license with the extension. I've heard some people has had problems when renewing their license with the extension.

    Anyone has done it yet?

    Thanks,

I did also. Few days ago. Hawaii DMV office. No problems, I was done in less then 10 minutes.

3 days after our Interview my wife received a nice letter saying "'Welcome to the United States of America''

(the green card was approved in our interview Thursday)

... just waiting on the physical card.
Anyone had any experience on the time it takes to get that?

Did they told you exactly > it is approved< on the interview? This lady just said to us Your application is approvable. I am so impatient :)

  9. Hi everyone :)

So...On Thursday we had our interview. We are from Delaware but we had our appointment in Philadelphia, PA.

Everything took about half an hour maybe up to 45min. First she asked me about my J1 Visa status and about changing the status to B2 visa. I just gave her a notice from USCIS. After that she wanted to know more about us. Where and when we met. When we started dating. When I informed my parents that I am getting married. She asked my husband about the proposal also. After that we showed her photos from our travels and from the wedding. She took maybe 8-10 of them. We needed to give her another copy of joint tax return as well. She checked all the things we wrote in the forms and that was it.

On the end she just said: just so you know all of this seems approvable.

We are still waiting for the update :)

Anyone had their interview in Philadelphia? How long it took for them to update the case? Thank you. And good luck to everyone who have their interviews soon 😊

  10. Hi everyone. I need help. Please. 12 days from now we will have our AOS interview. On the list of requirements it's written also the birth certificate (to bring original with us). What to do in the case when we already submitted the original one? We sent both original and the copy. Basically this one was official international form. Do I need to take another original int form with me or no? Thank you so much...
