Good to hear so many ppl here got their interview letters! Too bad that my local office is San Francisco and I heard this is one of the worst office and the wait is about 11 month to a year... I am just hoping to get any news on my EAD and AP soon...

Does the US citizen spouse (while she is waiting for AOS, AP and EAD) requested to get health insurance?

Mine is biometeics appt for EAD! How many times do they want me to scan my fingers? 😒😣😣😣 I already did biometrics. So frustrating
OMG, how could this happen? I am sure you only need to take your fingerprint one time.

Correct, I would like to get an update on the EAD before the bio too. This is one thing i hesitate about walking in next week.

That's wonderful! Still waiting on my mail man he usually comes in the evening around 4 or 5pm. Also the EAD was delivered on Monday to Chicago but haven't gotten any updates of receipt for it yet 😔😔 sigh
My case is same as yours and the EAD was delivered on Tuesday to Chicago, 1 day after you.
Received my Biomerics Appt on Sat, is also a day after you, 2/21.
Hope we will get a response on our EAD soon!

I would recommend waiting a few more days. I received ead notification first and 3 days later )yesterday to be exact) I got the other 2 notifications.
Thanks Stewt!
Most importantly, I got the NOA for I-485.
I will take your advise, I will wait! Thanks again!

You'll receive 3 notifications with 3 different numbers.
That is what I thought too...
I only received 2 notifications and 2 NOA (just received them today), one for I-131 and one for I-485.
I am missing EAD, what should I do? call or wait or resend?
Just can't be perfect, lol, what a day~

If I sent applications for AOS, AP and EAD, how many NOA 1 / receipt # will I receive?

My package is delayed. Hope can here news soon
The package is delayed and will not be delivered by the expected delivery date. An updated delivery date will be provided when available. The item is currently in transit to the destination as of January 21, 2018 at 12:37 pm. It is on its way to CHICAGO, IL 60680.
Don't worry, mine was delay as well. Something must be going on with Chicago.

Did you raise an inquiry with USPS?
USPS said my package will definitely arrive into USCIS by this Saturday.
I should not send this by USPS in the beginning, sigh....
Should I wait or I should resend?

Did they tracked your package already? I’m in K1 Visa also and my visa will be expiring in Feb.2nd. Don’t worry about your wife as long as u fullfilled the requirement of getting married within 90days. We filed also this month
Yes, I tracked and called USPS, it will take them 2-3 business days to search and said not sure where is the package now.
Since all my forms and paperwork is lost in somewhere and therefore, I will not receive my NOA1 soon, my time is running short.
I am thinking to send another package out tomorrow by FEDEX, really hope I can make it by 2/8.

Maybe call USPS with your tracking number and ask for delivery information.
They opened a case for me to track the package... not able to tell me more. sigh...

HI everyone! I need your comment please...
I mailed out the documents on 1/10 by USPS and still showing "transit to Chicago" when I track it. When I call the bank, cheque has not been cash out yet....
My wife K1 visa will be expiring on 2/8 and I am afraid she will need to leave the country if this doesn't get to USCIS on time.
What should I do?

This didn't work for me. I get "You may wish to visit our website, goodbye" and the phone hangs up. A couple time it asked me to choose between Spanish and English and then after I get "You may wish to visit our website, goodbye" and the phone hangs up
Make sure you press 1 to choose English, then it will say something like our option menu has changed, then press 5.

Wow, what at tip! Really curious how you figured this out. After calling every day and getting no answer, the agent was able to confirm that the NVC has my case.
Here's everything the agent told me:
* They marked my case "as a priority for processing" (I think those were his words) on June 16th (NOA2 on June 2nd).* It takes two weeks for a case number to get assigned (I think that means two weeks from June 16th for me).
* It is indeed getting entered into the new electronic system.
Initially the agent thought I was calling to ask about an I-130; I assumed he'd tell me to hang up when I said I was calling to get the status of my I-129f, but instead he said "oh, a K1 visa? One moment..." and began looking it up.
Does anyone know if this means our case will get electronically transferred to the embassy?
Happy to get some kind of confirmation that our case is still being processed.
I was calling and calling and NVC kept telling me they haven't receive my case. Until one day, a lady told me to call a different number and press 5. I was shocked when she told me and I didn't believe her for a minute. But after 34 days without knowing where is my case, worrying that can be lost in transit, I have to call the different number she asked me to. Finally, the agent that I spoke with after pressing 5 actually saw my file that was already received 2.5 weeks ago and even gave me a direct line to call for a case #. I am not sure what is the title of this "direct line", but he knows what he is talking about.
if your case is getting entered into the new electronic system, yes, your case will get electronically transfer to the embassy.
-
To anyone who is waiting the NVC #, I would like to share this with you:
If you're an electronic case, make sure you're calling the immigrant line 603-334-0700, then press 5. If not, the agent you speak with will not able to see your file and keep telling you they haven't receive your case yet.
Below link is referring to the CR1 filers, but confirmed with NVC that they are already started with K1 Visa a month ago.

Pleased to report that we FINALLY have our case number! I called this morning and they didn't have it, but we spoke to the same agent just now who confirmed our number. At long, long last. CC: @eastcoastgroove
Congratulation to you! I just called and got the case number as well! We finally getting closer and closer! Good job to all of us!
6 hours ago, TiogaTiago said:We had similar problems and frustrations. Felt like every time we called the NVC we got a different answer, anything from "I can see we have your case, but we don't have a number" to "It doesn't look like we have your case". We did FINALLY get it pushed through. After we hit the 30 day mark from receiving the NOA2, I followed the instructions on the NOA2 that say to email the NVC if you don't hear from them. My fiancé also called, and when told that he should wait two weeks after it's received by the NVC, he pointed out it has been more than two weeks (NVC received our case on May 24th). Once he pointed that out, he was routed to a manager, who then told him they found our case and are working on it (or something to that affect). When I called later that evening, the lady first told me she couldn't see my case was received (minor panic attack on my part), and then said, "Oh wait, here it is! Oh yes, looks like it was received May 24th and was last touched at 6:45 pm today". A few days later, I got an email from the NVC with all of our information including the revered RDJ Number. Just today (a week later) we received an email from the embassy with our packet 3 and interview scheduling information.
So...things do move fairly quick once they start moving again, keep courage!
I hope this information helps! I would recommend following the instructions in the NOA2 and emailing the NVC, and also maybe next time you call the NVC kindly point out that it has been over 2 weeks since the NVC received your case, and you were under the impression it should be processed by now.
I hope all your cases get processed soon! I know how frustrating the waiting is!
Thank you for giving me the courage, I got it! @TiogaTiago

To put things simply, this electronic processing nonsense that is going on at the NVC is a shambles. It seems that only some agents are trained to use it, and others can't even see your case in the system. Calling the immigrant line and choosing option 5 is the RECOMMENDED way to go, as it seems to be these agents who process CEAC (electronic) cases and can see your info right away.
Their general consensus is that it takes longer to process, because it's a new system - hence the looooong wait for a case number. But then you gain time with it being emailed to your consulate or embassy, as opposed to having it couriered. So it goes from no case number, nothing, to at your embassy quickly, they say.
Ours was received June 3rd; they told us to give them two weeks before a case number would be issued. That two weeks was yesterday but after calling this morning, they still don't have a number for us. I've been told it's being inputted currently and going through quality control, to ensure the paper information matches up with the digital information, after which a case number will be issued and we'll get an email. I was also told that as the electronic system is new, it's sometimes taking a little more than 2 weeks to get the case number. Which is just nonsense; how long, realistically, can they take? I can't believe we still don't have one and I will continue to call a few more times today to try and get an answer.
Definitely! I will call again until I get the case number!
