Works with no issues, I've used the expired green card + letter for layovers in Canada, London and Paris.

I could use that document as well if anyone can locate it.
Did my biometrics last week, since then my status shows "fingerprint review was completed", "we will let you know if we make a decision or need anything from you".
    Hang in there everyone!

I don't think it matters.  Seems like weak evidence to me.  However, I did send 3 notarized affidavits.  Once from my mom and 2 from friends, just to be on the safe side.

We did two, but it's definitely optional and secondary evidence.  We just thought it would be nice for my parents to write about some shared travel we had done (of which we included flights/photos with them) as well as visiting us in our shared home.  Just adds to the credibility, but isn't primary evidence for anything.

It is really up to you.
I asked family and friend members if it is okay if they write affidavits, and I just wrote affidavit based on my interaction with people, but just have them sign with their photo ID scanned with "under the penalty of perjury" so that USCIS knows this affidavit is not just coming from "Copy and Paste", but from actual people who are writing this under the penalty of perjury with the evidence of their photo ID, if they wish to verify whether or not the affidavit is US citizen and go further in case they want to interview.

This way, it doesn't take more than a week, but 2 days (since I already wrote affidavits, all they need to do is their signature and photo ID). If they are uncomfortable, then I go next.

That's what I thought! I'm ready for it if needed, but I might try without it first. Just want to be done with all these documentation...  Thank you so much for your quick reply!!! 😊

I'm glad you got your NOA so quickly! That's awesome!

Didn't send one. But I would be ready to, if needed. Most people say that this isn't necessary if you have enough other proof. They usually look for this ONLY when you don't have enough proof.

    Hi all!

Another quick update for you guys, today I received my GC in the mail. Woooo!
However, I'm going to have to request for a replacement as they misspelled my first name. Ugh. It should be Aryma Ada and right now is ArymaAda (Should have a space between the names). I want to make sure everything is correct so I won't have any issues in the future, since they made the mistake I don't have to pay for this, which is good. Hoping that they can fix it quickly.

Although i got the approval, seems like this is a never ending process hahaha

Yes, once you get the green card you don't need the EAD. The green card is all you need.

I don't know if someone already talked about this here, but, today I received new receipt notices with numbers that were missing (day of birth, received date, etc). They also sent a letter attached saying that they had a printing problem and some of the receipts didn't have these information, that's why they were sending new ones.

I didn't ask for that, which that means that anyone that has information missing in the receipt will receive updated ones.

    Did anyone else receive it?

Yeah but we sent ours in 3 days before you. It makes no sense that you would have it before we do, no offense. So it's very worrying and upsetting.
