Congratulations. Did the officer ask  any questions regarding you being out of status on your F1 Visa. I'm adjusting from F1 Visa too ,but the office in bay area,CA seems to be  severely backlogged and I was happy that you already had your interview(given the current processing time for your office is sometime in November 2016) and I'm hoping my interview is scheduled soon. Did the officer ask you questions from the old I-485 form or the new form which has a lot of additional questions regarding work authorization and unlawful presence.

    Thank you .

The interviewer didn't ask me about my status and questions from I-485.  Our interview was very short like less than 10min .  I'm sorry I can't answer your question :(

I hope you will have your interview soon :)!

YW, and thank you... fingers crossed and praying a lot... i think i have too many papers in my folder lol... i liked reading about your case especially coz im also someone who came in as an F1 and i also am out of status... it gives me hope that maybe they wont dwell on that too much at the interview...

Wow you already prepared a lot . That's nice. I prepared last night .lol

Oh ! She also asked me " where/what did I study while I was a f1 student ". But she didn't check my i20 . She didn't say anything about my status either .

Yeah I hope your interview will be nice like us :) good luck on your interview .

  3. I haven't posted here for long time .

I had an interview at Raleigh office today . The interviewer was a very kind and friendly woman .

I thought she was going to ask us a lot of questions because I'm adjusting from F-1 visa ( but out of status). But she asked us only 4 questions . "How we met , how often I meet my husband's family , what's our current address and do we have a kid and plan . That's it .  She didn't check any additional evidence such as pictures, Insurance etc... Then she told us she approve us . Less than 10 min.

While on the way to the interview , I was asking my husband to stop by gas station every 20min because I was super nervous .lol

I filed on March 3rd . I haven't got EAD :( I was so sad and little bit mad at USCIS because a lot of people here are getting thire EAD. but I finally have a good news too.

I hope all of you have good news soon:)

ps when you go to the interview , make sure you don't have liquid stuff . I brought my lighter and cig then a security man didn't let me enter that's why I went back to the car and re enter . I should've searched about it .

Lol...Congratulations. yes it does happen. Mine was sent almost around 11pm and when you read other months' filers you will hear people saying this is the time (shortly before, through and after midnight) they get text and emails from USCIS. It isn't a scam. Relax and congratulations once again. Good luck to us all through this seemingly endless journey.

Thank you very much. I'm glad to hear that :) I was very nervious because I sent USCIS aos forms with blank money orders. I didn't sign my name and my husband's name on the money orders that's why I thought I was going to reject. Anyway thank you very much  .Yes. good luck to all of us
