Don't think so. Someone just posted if you send transcripts you don't need w2's. Only if you send photocopy tax returns like I did.

I don't think you will get checklist for W-2's. Even if you get one it will be like we are discussing just now. It will be kind of a "soft" checklist that asks you to bring some documents to the interview.

generally, nvc takes 30 to 45 days to review a case. I personally have not seen it take less than 30 days. After your case has been reviewed and you have received case complete from NVC, you will have to wait until the next visa bulletin before you are issued an interview date.
therefore, based on the date you gave you should receive case complete sometime in early March and get your IL in late March

Im not doing the F2A visa from India but when we submitted final documents to NVC in November, we were told it could take up to 6 weeks to process them. It took 10  we called at the 6 week mark and no one had looked at our paperwork yet. They submitted it to a supervisor. I then called every week to see if there was progress. Finally 4 weeks after the 6 week mark we were approved. It then took another 3 weeks for an interview date to be scheduled.
