My case has been updated today but same status of 'administrative processing'. Have you called the embassy?

As far as I'm aware the embassy don't take calls lol I phoned the number listed for them and it was an automated message followed by a list of options not relevant to what I need to ask... I guess I just have to keep waiting and desperately hoping that it's on its way and will get here on time.

Just wanted to give a quick update and say that I've now received the email saying my husband's visa has been sent, and should be ready to pick up from Southampton tomorrow!

Oh man, I'll keep my fingers and toes crossed for you, I'm sure you'll receive it in no time!

Thanks! I'm literally gona cross everything possibly crossable to get my passport back in time 😂 getting super panicky about it now!! It needs to be issued tomorrow... Friday at the latest for me to even have a chance of getting it on time for my flight. They've accessed my case at least 3 times going by the "last updated" so I've no idea what they're doing lol

  3. OH BOY!

I had my interview last Wednesday (29th) and was approved. On the ceac site my status is still "ready". the date of last updated keeps changing but the actual status hasn't changed at all! My flights are booked for next Friday (15th dec) AND i'm getting the documents delivered to my home address in NIreland... looking like i'll be cutting it very fine in terms of getting my passport back! totally don't understand how they work in the US Gov. Someone had their interview on Friday and has an issue already, mine was two days before that and still nothing??? do they just pluck cases at random?

Hubby's visa was ready dec 1, 2 days following interview

Just in case you guys are trying to plan.

They told him at the interview that it would be 10 days or less.

We purchased flights in October lol so we are glad that things are in order

I am going over in a few days to celebrate our anny, then we are coming back together!

Woohoo! Wonderful news! That's how fast it SHOULD be! My interview was on the same day but I'm still waiting for my status to turn to issued.... I can see they're clearly doing something to my file because the case last updated date changes but no status change as of yet! I'm due to fly on the 15th so let's hope they get a move on 😂

  5. Just flew to london from Belfast this morning for my medical! Fingers crossed it all goes smoothly. 🎉 I really wish they had a few other panel physicians to choose from! Flying to and from London in a day just for this one thing is a major pain in the butttttt. 🙄 Ah well, needs must!

I believe I just discovered that my interview appointment letter, which I received in email late lastnight, was generated on October 16th....

But i had to wait 10 days for the website to change to CC....🤔🤔🤔

Has anyone ever checked and questioned the date in their document subject line?

Where abouts are you seeing the date?? In the actual email subject line mine says (13APR2017) lmao I have no idea what that even relates to! On my actual email on the  document it says 28th sept which is a day before I received the email... But no idea why it says April in the subject line! Makes no sense 😂

Did you receive a 'CASE Complete' email? My case was completed last Thursday but still haven't received an email from NVC. I also kept on checking on CEAC and then saw the "AT NVC" status. I called the NVC to confirm. I spoke to the NVC yesterday and they told me that they don't send out CC emails anymore. But another rep told me that it takes a week to send them out.

We got our "case complete" email about a week or so after our status changed on the ceac site. It isn't very useful, it just states that they have processed your case and it will be forwarded on to the relevant embassy etc.

I see folks here complaining that their interview date is too far at the same time there are folks in same Jan filers group that have not gotten NOA2... Guys, seriously though, you should really be happy and content that you have an interview date, imagine if you are in the shoes of your fellow Jan filers that haven't seen NOA2, what would you be saying instead?

Please and please just suck it up and be glad you got an interview date and you are almost seeing finish line.

Oh you're so right, how dare me be so selfish and have an opinion on something directly affecting my life.

For the record - my gripe isn't with the date of my interview directly, it's with the fact NVC state they assign dates in order of CC and in my case they did not. I have every right to be frustrated with that, I also have every right to vent said frustrations on a public forum. First amendment 😉

No one ever said that myself or anyone else didn't sympathise with those stuck in Nebraska. Yes, it's absolutely terrible. It's entirely unfair and yet again it is just another example of how corrupt the whole system is. But sure, im clearly a selfish, unsympathetic monster. Jog on.

Final note - im delighted that I have been given an interview date. I am entirely grateful that I am finally at this stage. It breaks my heart to know that others are still a few months away from where I am. I wish we could all be at the same stage. However, I am not impressed with how the NVC or USCIS operate and if I wish to publicly vocalise that, I will. 😘

@LaurenAndBrent That's a bummer - it's like they're sticking it to you so you'll miss Thanksgiving - bastards. It is a bit odd that you barely miss one month and they put your date at the VERY END of the next one. They seriously need to reform legal immigration; this is the slowest process ever and a lot of people are separated throughout the whole damn thing. At least I'm with my wife and child during the petition and (if approved by end of November) - I'll have a month of the second part with them (I'm leaving in January to do a research masters). But, those Nebraska folks completely separated from family and kids for 18 months is borderline inhumane for an arbitrary process that could be done much more quickly. 6 months is completely reasonable for vetting and interviewing and if it were me, I'd penalise each office monetarily if they did not hit those targets, but that's why they probably would never let me do it, ha. :)

Bastards is totally correct!!! The system is absolutely CORRUPT. I honestly can't believe there are people still stuck waiting in Nebraska, it is so so unfair.

Awwwwww!!! Well congratulations on getting a date!!! You are sooooo close

I have seen things about requesting an earlier date. So maybe you guys can look into that?

I phoned NVC again, they are honestly the most useless people to deal with lol. I might try contacting London embassy to see if I can get an earlier date but they're closed right now so that's a job for tomorrow. They have zero logic to their system in scheduling interviews! She told me it was done on a basis of receiving CC yet clearly it is not 😂 I am so ready to be done with this whole process!!!

  11. Got my interview date. 29th November. Im really annoyed by the whole thing. I missed out an October date by a day or two, how on earth can it be possible that 29th of November is my date?? Surely it should be the very beginning of November considering I narrowly missed end of October. I should be so delighted right now and im NOT. Im tempted to call them again and ask to speak to someone who will actually explain to me their logic but I fear it will be a huge waste of time.
