Hello everyone, I have one question about the address. when I filed the I751, I already filed with my new address, and I can get the biometric &  extension letter at my new place. But when i login the USCIS account. I found it still shows my old address. Do I need update that address or just ignore it ? Also almost one year. my application still stays at "Case Is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview"

I have the exact same issue , but Last week when I showed up for my interview it was like the guy didnt get my address change and he wrote down my new address even-though I already did it couple of month back.

anyway they are not as organized as you think they are.

funny thing is They said my card is already mail to me but today I received a letter letting me know my case was approved and I will be getting my new card whitin 60 days!

Anyhow , as for one year "ready to be scheduled" it all depends on how backlogged your local office is .

Hope you get through this asap ,

i wish missle and rest of ppl here to get it over with asap, as I first handedly know how frustrating things might get. You know what i am talking about so GL

it happen sometimes, cos the officer is new and his case need to be reviewed by his/her supervisor

just wait for a week to see if you get any feedback

when I had my interview, she didn't tell me if approve or not, just tell me to go home and wait for a week something, then my status updated in two days

    hang in there, good luck!!

And thank you Parsha , helpful as always

  4. Oh great , thank you. Thats a reliever.

He did seemed not very 100% on top of things, and I can tell for sure he has never reviewed our case.
I took more supporting documents with me and he was like : for sure you have lotta documents prepared for us.

but thank you and All I can do at this point is to wait and see.

Did he ask you to send them the divorce papers ?

And when did you apply for your I-751?

No he asked someone on his chat screen and he told him no they dont need it

  5. Hey guys ,

interview was today, all took 20min.

IO seemed somehow not familiar with the case, asked for some documents that was not supposed to be there , basically some of those we send to them 5 years ago, my wife first marriage divorce papers.

then asked some one on his pc something.
then he suggested to wait for a week or so , if the case is approved then ok if not be ready to extend the extension letter.
I have to take the case to my supervisour and explain all to him but he did say if all is good you will be getting your card in a week or two.

now its somehow troubling me , why would he say such things,

the interview itself was easy , we laughed .

still can not figure out why he said what he said,

    any ideas?should I be worried?

    Thank you so much.

But this page for N400 ,  is there a page for I751 field offices times ?

Unfortunately there is no such thing for I751 , but you will see how busy they are and maybe we can expect accordingly, I was at las vegas now san antonio, friend of mine who files For I751 week ahead of me in vegas is still in " ready to be scheduled for interview" condition.

I filed on March 2019, could not find the page to check local office wait time. My local office is nyc, one of the slowest I believe. can you provide the link pls.

Its not for I751 but it will tell you alot about your local office wait time

  8. I apologize to all if my comments did not help with the subject.

We all know its a long process and for some of us its really frustrating not hearing anything from uscis.

Its only common sense to expect others in similar condition to be heart warming and positive. Who knows statistically when a specific case will be done? Thank you all and again sorry If I was agitated by some comments .

Wish you all get through this soon as possible.

    Bless ya'lll

Had our interview today.  Was a piece of cake!

We had taken loads of paperwork showing commingled finances and things and lots of pictures,  cards,  letters from family,  proof of my kids taking his name etc.

The agent took one look at the folders and said "I don't need any of that". She only asked a few questions about how and when we met,  confirmed address,  social security numbers and full names.

She told us she was recommending us for approval and gave us a sheet marked the same and said to watch for certified mail with the new green card within next few weeks.

    Congrats my friend.

    See where positivity got you.

I love positive ppl with heartwarming quotas, and there you go nice results.

Few months and you are ready for citizenship.

Good luck with the rest of your journey.
