I just received the email with the tracking informations ! It says that the package was received by UPS this morning. I hope that UPS delivers on Saturday too, I am so impatient to book my plane that it will be hard to wait until Monday ! 😅

Didnt we luck out! His status says the same, updated July 11th. It's the part about several weeks that I don't like! Fingers crossed it'll be this week for us both.

I would not worry too much, I know it will be this week :)

About the "several weeks" part, I think that they are saying this in case they found something during the background checks or if there is an important problem which could cause an important delay.. They warn people in case that something like that happens.

The part "if your visa application is approved it will be processed and mailed within 2 business days", at the end of the message, is more important to focus on, because we already know that we are approved ! ;)

Just checked the case again and it went from received to "administrative processing could take several weeks" what in gods name is this??

Hi Andy Jin, I also had my interview at the Paris embassy on the July 5th, and I was approved too :)

The status of my case on the CEAC website was still in "Ready" until today, it changed for "Administrative processing". There was an update before on the July 11th, but they changed the status only today.

I guess that the "administrative processing" thing is just a normal step they do before sending the Visa, like the last checks, printing the Visa.. So don't worry, it just means that they are working on our visa and we will get it soon ! ;)

  4. What did you choose when you registered on the website and it gave you different options (like "I received a letter from the embassy / I need to schedule an appointment....") ?

One of these options is about the K1, it's this one that you have to choose. I think it's something like "I applied for a K1 visa, I submitted the application of readiness and I need to schedule an interview"

  5. For the DS-160, you have to put the informations of the beneficiary, so if you are the French fiancé, yes it's your informations that you have to fill !

The DS-160 is an online form, you will find it on the CEAC website. It's a little bit long to fill it but you can save the form online and to continue later if you want. And since it's an online form, it doesn't need to be approved by the U.S of the embassy.

When you will be done with it, you will be able to choose to print the confirmation page or to ask to receive it by email. Keep this confirmation page because you are going to need it for the interview :)

  6. Hi @XavierFR,

Yes, you have to fill the DS-160 before, but the reason why all the days are in grey for now is just because the embassy don't have days for appointment yet. My interview is going to take place in Paris too, and I can't pay the fee or register an appointment until they open new "interview days".

It's a week now that I am waiting for taking an appointment, I hope I will be able to do it this week !

That's what it says for me when I try to pay the fees and to schedule :

I have an uncommon question to ask... If we are not in a huge rush to go for interview, do we still need to call NVC to get a case number? We received NOA2 on May 19th- 2 weeks ago. If we don't call NVC, what happens next? Will our case get sent to Montreal, and we'll be contacted by the embassy?

If you don't call the NVC, the embassy will send an email to the U.S citizen as soon as they will receive your case, to inform you that your case reached their office.

They will also give you your new number case in the email, it's the "NVC number case". It's not a problem if you don't call the NVC, but some of us (like me) prefer to call because when you have this number you can track online if your case was forwarded or not yet ^^

  8. Hi there !

I am here again. I never got a response to the 2 messages I sent to the U.S embassy in Paris, France, so I sent them a letter Monday, and I know they got it on Tuesday. But I still don't have a response from them. Today I emailed the U.S consulate in Frankfurt to ask them if they received a transfer request from the U.S embassy in France. They told me that they didn't receive anything... It's been one week now, I can't reach the embassy of Paris because when I call them they are always sending me to automated messages, and they don't have an email, we have to use the contact form on their website..

It's been almost one week now and I don't know what to do.. :/

Hi @Dysphobiah  dont worry too much. You can request for Embassy in France to request an Embassy Change. It will take a lil longer time ti transfer from Frankfurt's to France Embassy.

Thank you, I emailed the Frankfurt embassy to tell them my problem, and they told me the same, they told me to ask for a change to the France embassy..

We can't have the email address of the France embassy for some reason, we can only contact them online, that's what I did.

I hope I will have a response soon...

I try to not worry but I will feel better when this problem will be resolved... :(

  10. Hi everyone...

I called the NVC last week and they gave me my case number. The first 3 letters are FRN---------- and I live in France. My case should have been sent to the U.S embassy in France.

But my fiance just received an email from the Frankfurt consulate saying that they have our case.....

It seems like the NVC sent our case to the wrong embassy... I never lived in Germany so I don't know why..

Some of you know what I can do..? I am so desperate..

  12. Hey !

I didn't had an RFE, but I think that I can help you.

    - For the I-129F, they need 2 letters of intend : One from the US citizen, and one from the beneficiary. On the RFE they just asked for the beneficiary, but I think it would be better to give them the 2 letters, just in case.

    - I think that the best thing to do for the pictures is to remake them, and to ask for "American passport" type of pictures.

    - For the proof that you have met in person, with the fact that you don't have primary evidence like passport stamps and tickets, I think it would be good to provide them a lot of secondary evidence : Call logs / emails / messages sent to each other, pictures of you being together (yes they says it's a secondary evidence, but since you don't have a lot of what they considers like "Primary evidence", it will be great to add pictures to your response), receipts or tickets from places you went together like restaurants, showing the same date and time.. Provide a lot of evidence, it's never too much, especially in this case where they said in the letter that they need more proofs.

I hope you will be approved soon !

1,546 cases are still showing "received" out of the total 3,621, so about 42% of cases remain untouched for January.

Hi everyone, and thanks @glmg21 for doing the scan.

If anyone is interested, I've taken the scan done this morning, and colour-coded a few things. I just found it interesting to quickly see where there were gaps in touched/untouched blocks, how much colour was evident on certain received dates etc.

    Green: approved

    Yellow: RFE sent

Blue: response to RFE received by CSC

NOTE: I have REMOVED all files that were REJECTED for incorrect fee/not signing form etc. It just made things a little clearer.

Thank you so much @glmg21 and @NatO23 for what you are doing, this is so helpful to see the amount of cases approved per days..!

I don't talk a lot here but I am reading every response to this thread many times per day, and it makes me happy to read the messages of all the ones who already was approved. Since some days, I feel peaceful in my mind, I feel full of joy, because our turn is coming soon, I feel it.

I want to share some positive vibes here for all the others who are waiting, don't worry guys, this waiting step is almost finished. Don't let your mind focus on negativity, stress, and anxiety because this is the worst thing to do. Keep you mind on positive things, things that let you busy and then anxiety will stay away ! ☺️

Day after day, the end of this waiting step is coming, and soon, we will be all reunited with our half !! ☺️
