For a smaller medical practice, it will most likely come from the dental practice. Even if there is one dentist, that is quite normal. My dental office has 2-3 people working up front with admin tasks and only one dentist. For a job paying $11.00/hour (minimum wage in California), it's also pretty standard to not include benefits, sick leave, etc. Depending on the state, there may be some minimum guarantees for things like sick leave.

    Thanks,

Would make sure to get the offer in writing. Sounds like perhaps it may be "entry" level type so a lot of times benefits aren't given/available. Each company or private business is different on what they offer.

Don't take it wrong, not meaning any offense, but any job really that is at $11/hr isn't going to offer paid vacation, paid sick days, ect. They just aren't unless you find the rare one.

    Thank you for your answer,

  3. Hi, i applied for a position with a dental office, i never worked in this field but i have met some of their requirement, i was wondering who is going to pay me if i work there? the dentist?  its not a company ,

When i went there for an interview the doctor who scheduled my interview and was supposed to meet was not there , my interview was  with an experienced receptionist that i will work with if hired, she asked if i'm cool with 11.00/h,  its full time with no benefit, no holiday pay, no vacations, and i guess  she said no sick leave, the location of job is  a little close to my location but  i don't know if this job looks real or no, what do you think?

  4. Let the bank know , because when they will trace their mistake back to your account  they will need back the money, its happened to my friend  but there was a deposit that clearly stated in his account there was a deposit of the extra money

  5.  i have posted this question in a different post but still didn't get any answer,  are we required to memorize the answers exactly like they are online ? for ex : What is freedom of religion?
    ▪ You can practice any religion, or not practice a religion.

do the interviewer need the answer to be exactly like  its written online or as long as the answer is correct its doesn't matter how we say it?

  6. Hi , i have a question  i just looked at the 100 questions the first time and wanted to know how  we should answer questions same like this one :

What did the Declaration of Independence do? ▪ announced our independence (from Great Britain) ▪ declared our independence (from Great Britain) ▪ said that the United States is free (from Great Britain)

its obligated to says the 3 answers or one answer is considered as a correct answer at interview?

I think @Ramsep and others are talking about my case. I had actually written about this in the other "N-400 filers stuck in background checks" thread but it must have been buried under other posts so I'll paste here. This is what I did:

On the day I reached the 90-day mark since being placed in line, I filed an e-request here https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/Intro.do.

I filed under "Did not receive notice by mail". Further down it asks to provide last action on your case for which I wrote that my last case status update was on 02/03/17 and the status said USCIS will send an interview notice but I never received any notice so far. I don't know if that contributed or not but my status changed to 'interview scheduled' on the third business day since I placed the above e-request.

I followed the above steps based on the advice by another fellow VJ member who also believes this method may have brought him success.

I obviously cannot vouch that this method will work but I think it's worth the try for anyone who has been in line for months. I preferred this method over InfoPass because it saves a trip driving to the field office and a lot better than calling customer service, which is often clueless and not handled by immigration officers.

Hope this helps for people to get a perspective on what I did. By the way, as @Ramsep mentioned 100% correctly in one of his posts above, nobody is guaranteeing that filing an e-request will help. However it seemed to have helped JimmyHou and myself. The only one common thing between the two of us was that we waited 3 months to file the e-request. Otherwise everything else is different, he was filing under 5 years, I under 3, different field offices, different citizenships etc.

I know couple other people in our December thread have also recently filed an e-request but no one has reported anything back yet.

No, I checked my case status just before filing the e-request and my status was still showing as in line for interview. I had been checking my case status everyday multiple times. Good luck to you and everyone else!

Thank you for the information, Good luck to you in your interview

I don't know if there's anything official, but 90 days after being placed 'inline for an interview'  is a reasonable amount of time for them to process any case. If you send the request prior to the 90 days mark, they can easily argue that they're still within their "normal limits".
Their reply was: we'll give you an answer on your request on June 3rd, which in our case amounts to 3 weeks (same as the other lady that I got the idea from), and I'll consider 3 weeks a "reasonable amount of time" as well.

That lady got an interview appointment within 3 days. Whether it was because of her e-Request, or because she actually got scheduled as part of the normal processing, we don't know.
In the end, you can wait or you can file an e-Request. It's up to every individual to decide what to do.

Now, Everybody: Please keep in mind that EVERY CASE IS DIFFERENT, even if 2 people filed their case with the same office and on the same day, there's nothing forcing them to process those 2 cases at the same time. Waiting is hard, I know, that's why we filed the e-Request on my wife's case.
But we don't really have any saying on what they'll do. You only have two choices: wait in despair, or file an e-Request.

    Good Luck!

Thank you for your answer, i still have to wait 2 weeks if i want to file e request, yes,  sure every case is different

    Hi Everybody:

On the same day that your case has been stuck in the "Inline for an interview" status for 90 days, go to this link and file an e-Request.
    https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/Intro.do
That's what I did based on another applicant's post here in Visajourney, and within 3 days she got an interview notice, and three days later she received the actual appointment letter in the mail. Please note that I am not saying that you will get one, as I still have not seen that in my wife's case, but as soon as we filed her e-Request last Friday (today is Monday), almost immediately we had an email reply back saying that they'll review her application, and they'll provide an answer within 3 weeks, so this is worth a try, as a minimum, somebody will look at your file.
Once you get to that page, you'll have 4 options (we used the second one "Did not received notice by mail"). Choose the tab N-400 and go though the questions, then hit Send.
Now, some people have reported not being able to complete the e-Request due to a "processing error". If that ends up being your case, try using a different browser and/or computers. Just keep trying until you can get thru.

    Good Luck!

Thanks, That means if the status do not change for 90 days after being "inline for interview" i can send e request? is this true? i have seen one person in visa journey filled for e request and used didn't received notice but i thought his status changed to interview scheduled before he sent the request,  i think  if they are still working in the case they cant just schedule an interview because of the request,

is there anything official that says after 90 days we can do something?

  11. I couldn't make it i was checking  this post every single day, i'm back,  tired of waiting,  i'm expecting to receive a status change by the middle of June  and the Interview Probably will be at the end of July , this means i still need to wait 2 months and 1/2 from now, i never thought the N400 processing time will takes that long, i thought it is the easiest journey, but its in reality the longest one, the total months from when i filled to may be when this process will be finished is approximately 8 to 9 months :o:wow:
