If you don't mind My question is now: Can I send a thank you email or letter to the Embassy back in my country to express how happy and proud I am to be in the USA where I AM A GAY HAPPY MARRIED MAN under the AMERICAN LAW I have also so much to say DEEPLY FROM THE fathom  emotions in my heart thank especially the immigration officer who treated me with respect and the staff at the embassy and the police men at the entrance how kind  they were to me..
 
I. Never experienced acceptance in my life I was always paranoid and for the first time the American embassy welcomed me and embraced me with open Arms..

I've been hiding for many years before I came out. It's not as complicated I'm sure since my parents eventually gave in after many years of not accepting my sexual preference. But my only advice I guess is to be diligent in your stories and things that you leave or things that they can check or see like your phone until such time that you are in the soil of the USA. 
Follow the process. As long as you have enough proof about your relationship everything is going to be fine.

Your family approval is not necessary.  Follow the process.  People at the American Embassy are quite understanding about same sex K1 applications and will treat both of you with respect.  Once you are in the US, you will feel safer.

I can not give any visa advice, as I think it really is a, "all you can do is wait".  But remember the visa interview is at an American embassy, where it is legal to be homosexual!  You will be safe there!   Best of luck, and I hope you can be with your loved one and partner ASAP!   I am so sorry about your family, and I am so sorry you have to hide who you are.  I can only hope that once you get here, you have the ability to finally be yourself and love yourself as much as your fiance loves you!  

if you say the word "husband" when attending the interview you are screwed there!!!!! He is not your husband, as far I know you are coming to the U.S with K1 visa.

We are same sex couple from India. Last year I had my interview in New Delhi embassy . They called my parents to confirm if they know about my relationship with my now wife. They also asked me if I was carrying the letter's from my family or friends to confirm the relationship. I had lots of evidence to proof our relationship but still they wanted approval from my family . Unfortunately my own native people in the embassy harassed me not the American officer . The American officer were so nice and never asked me about parents approval but the Indian women there were horrible .But that was my case . I think it should not be a problem in your country . Have lots of face time together with 2-3 trips together and have your fiance company you to the interview . I'm not sure if he will be allowed inside the embassy but you can have his passport with you as a proof he is waiting for you outside the embassy . This makes a huge difference! Good luck!
