Guys. It's my birthday today and i was hoping to get approved. I took a nap at work after lunch and when i woke up, i checked my app, it says approved. I couldn't believe it. I checked the other app and USCIS website too. I'm so happy. ???

One more thing..all of you who is waiting for there NO2's NVC NUMBER. Register on ASK NVC. when i woke up yesterday. They are the one who send my NVC number and i was shocked! And they send it EARLY MORNING.

Hello everyone  Is it okay to undergo medical exam one month prior to the interview schedule? I was seeing from forums that it should be at least a week before the interview.

Hi. Our case was approved already. However, this sunday evening, someone called me (i'm the fiance beneficiary) claiming that it is US embassy. This "us embassy staff" said that my ex bf sent an email complaining about me being a gold digger and a cheater. So what bothers me was the number who called me dont appear on US embassy website. And it was using a mobile number. Calling on a sunday evening. What are your thoughts?

Thank you so much. I asked my fiance to call the US embassy to confirm the identity of this caller too. I just wanted to know what people think about it. We thought it's a scam. 

Yeah, I understand being worried at first, but you did the right thing by checking it out and realizing that the story didn't add up.

Obviously fake... if you wanted to pursue it, you could put in a request with your phone provider to retain and track the number. Claiming to be USCIS staff would be impersonation of a federal employee. I'm assuming "US embassy staff" would fit into that or a similar category.
 
Edit: That said, I'd say just leave it...it's likely a scorned/jealous ex or their friend.

As it states some articles are aimed at Philippines cases but the site is a great guide. The site is a few years old so double check any fees and paperwork suggested.
