My finance also from Philippines but working in Taiwan . those police reports may take a while if she have to get it from other country's ,best to ask friend or family member to get it and send back to wherever she is .Also fairest I remember need to send some document ,don't remember now what, because just like that some places will not do police report with out showing them reason for it .  Sure she will do great on interview, My was so afraid of it , but it turn out that she went trough very smooth. She receive visa in passport in there days .    

Yes, they will send your paper work to NVC , NVC will send it to your embassy .With out any delays it should take little more than two weeks ,you should see your status ready in your embassy in about 3 weeks . All notifications are coming with 2-3 weeks delay.but you can find out about your status on line.   ( from our experience)  

I would check Brazil consulate website or another Brazilian for more information as we also are required to provide a resume and non-married certificate in China as an example. 

HI . we never got any packet 4 ,if embassy says that case is ready ,you are all set , go to interview,assuming that you have all necessary paper work  done and all what they ask you for, like police report, medical .( Possibly packet 4 is a sealed envelope that you will receive with your visa approved passport  .) Any way last think we receive was packet 3 that was from embassy with instructions , now visa in hand with sealed envelope to present  when entering US. Not sure if that helps .

Finally, after 122 days, we are approved!!! We are so happy!!!!!
Now, as the beneficiary, I should only worry about having all the vaccines required, the medical exam and the criminal record in hands, right? And my fiance, the affidavit of support, right? Am I missing something here? And finally the interview... I can't wait for it!

Hi everyone, I must have checked at least five times today. Then at the end of the day at 3:45pm Hawaii time I got a text message that said our case was updated but it didn't say to what status. I logged into the USCIS E-online website to see that our case was APPROVED!!! Malen and I are so happy!! After 122 days of waiting our dreams are coming true! Can I call the NVC tomorrow?? 😂 just kidding. No not really! Lol. We are so thankful for everyone's support and wish that you all get approved as soon as possible!

Good morning all.  I have a question I am hoping someone can answer that has been through this.  We received our London case number this morning from the NVC (yay!).  Do we need to wait until the case gets to London to submit our DS-160 or can we go ahead and submit it now?  I know we can not schedule the interview until it reaches London and says ready but was hoping we could go ahead and get the DS-160 taken care of.  Any advice is greatly appreciated! 

Thanks!  We mainly wanted to submit it just to have it done.  We have the police report and will be calling tomorrow to hopefully schedule the medical.  I feel like we are finally getting to the light at the end of the tunnel but there is still so much to do and organize before we get there! haha.  Thanks you for the advice!

I  Am a November filer got a rfe on March 1st, send evidence back on March 21 and recived March 23 and still waiting. Been a month now very depressed.
