So, everyone is sending in separate supporting documents for each form (485/765/131)? Its not like one packet where you can use the same document for each form?

Yes you can file the I-485 alone without the EAD and AP. However, the fee will still be $1140 + $85 (biometrics). Might as well just get the EAD since it's free when file concurrently with the I-485
Do you have an idea of where it states that filing these together means no fee for the EAD? I've been searching for awhile...

Did you ever find an answer for this? I'm wondering the same thing. I was thinking maybe the I-129f

If you havent already, check out what resources are on base at your duty station. There is probably someone familiar with the process for active duty members

This doesnt include cases before 1/9? or case numbers for Jan before 179015642? I havent seen mine listed on any of the links that were posted before either.

I dont know your work situation, I know it can be hard for some people to take time off but what about trying to take a vacation back to Russia with her so it doesnt seem like you are sending her off by herself? She still gets to go back and visit with people like you said and you guys get to share some time together that you both may need.

yea, its a little confusing. For whatever reason her passport process stopped in the middle somewhere and supposedly now is in some kind of condition that is hard to get out of. She has spoken to someone who knows someone who knows someone, lol, that works at saime and tried to cancel the old passport request but it seems that had no effect. She does have another appointment in March so I'm hoping she will be able to get more information. As of right now its kind of a dead end.

Mine was the same way, actually I have moved twice since I've had these checks and just put a line through the old address and write in my current address. It was still cashed and the process continued.

Have I missed something in the instructions for the I-134 Affidavit of support? I dont see where it says anything about sending in your taxes or is that something extra people are sending in with it?

We are in the beginning process of the K1 visa request. I recently got an email response from the Caracas Embassy about some questions and one was about the K2's (under 18) passport I pasted their response.
3. My fiance has been trying to get her daughter a passport for a long time. The daughter is 11 years old. Will she be able to travel with her mother if the K1 visa process is approved to the United States without a passport if she is unable to receive one by that time? – No, according to the Venezuelan laws, each person has his own passport irrelevant of the age. The daughter has to have a passport in order to be issued a visa.
I wanted to post this and see if anyone has experience with getting a passport in Venezuela. Her passport (the K2 daughter) has been in a holding pattern it seems for more than 3 years now. There are some unconventional (basically bribery) ways of getting a passport made in Venezuela but that is just wrong and expensive. So, just wondered if there was any info out there.
Anything I have searched for on here has been either outdated or more country specific.
Thanks everyone.

Weird that most of the other thread was speculation and yet there are 0 speculative posts in here.
Funny, I was reading the other thread thinking "so much for that no speculation thing." Might as well just combine the two now.

in USCIS Service Centers

Just called this morning, "lost receipt" still works. Sent me straight through to a person with no hold time but I did call super early in the morning.
