    Hey all,

So visajourney's tracker (here:http://www.visajourney.com/content/times/ ) says that I-129f's submitted as of December 12 are being processed out of the CSC, and ours was received on December 6th and we received the NOA1 on December 9th -- so I called USICS today and they told me NOA1s as of September 16th were being processed! And sure enough, their website (https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processingTimesDisplay.do) says this.

Which do I believe? We were so hopeful that we were going to be receiving an NOA2 soon, and now we are absolutely devastated....

The only thing you should be looking at is Geo's report nightly in the November thread. Right now they are working on the bulk of Mid-November cases. So the hope is that the begin to touch December cases in March at some point.

    Hey Javier,

i worked with a lawyer for the application but I know I provided tax returns and letter from my employer but no sure if it included salary and financial affidavit in the initial application.

is this normal or abnormal practice to include those in the initial application?

Think it is better to have the I-134 Affadavit of Support form just in case the embassy asks the beneficiary a question about your income but I do think that it is mainly needed with adjustment of status after you are married for that interview. As far as being self employed think you will need tax transcripts and documents proving your income is 125% over the poverty line though

Hi everyone what does this mean!?

Guessing if you got it from VJ something based on member input but the only thing you should be following is Geo's report daily. You will drive yourself crazy looking at all the stats and processing times out there. Enjoy the long weekend and try to do something to take your mind off of it ?

FaceTime dates are the best. :)  They definitely keep us going.  My favorite is syncing up and watching movies together while on FaceTime.  Gives you that little piece of connection even from 4000 miles away.  Next Valentine's Day we will definitely be going all out.  We all have a lot to make up for!  Haha.

Still keeping close tabs on the November filers thread.  It is exciting to see the movement in there.  I cant wait to see the first December filer post that they got their NOA2!  I am keeping my eyes open for it!

Feels like it is right around the corner now.

Thank you I no not to get your hopes up with the timeline when do you think I will  hear something papers have been in since November 23rd so 84 days today ?

Well hopefully you do this week. Hard to say because the CSC doesn't process cases in chronological order they tend to jump a bit. Think some people from the 23rd got approved last week ( not sure if any were VJ members ) so some will get lucky and get their case worked on before estimates and some will unfortunately wait longer. Still think there are a couple of October 31st filers still waiting so no one knows when their case will get processed just have to continue to be positive and patient with the wait. We all know it's a pain in the butt to wait on but not much else we can do but wait until we get that magic alert that says "you have been approved"

Really okay because on my timeline they gave me a estimate of today to Friday to hear something and all day nothing I been checking

Well as of now your still in that estimate range ?. But also remember the timelines on VJ are estimates based on other members input of NOA2 received dates. They aren't tied to USCIS so keep that in mind. The good thing is they have been constantly working cases the past few weeks so your time is coming soon.

And another question on our timeline it says estimated times for your paper work and they give a date is that true or never happens ?

Also know that our timelines are based only on VJ member input so as members update their timelines with NOA2's approved it may not may not effect your timeline. And couple that with the fact the CSC doesn't really handle cases in chronological order then it is purely a rough estimate. The good is they have been moving well the last 3 weeks

@Kevin&Kanyanat That is possible,  I am just going based on this data. It also depends of you are referring to all service centrrs. This is only for CSC. Do you have any data to provide us, that shows 500 apps being processed in a day? It would be useful

I believe petitions are only approved through CSC. Vermont and Texas I think have been closed since 2014

We met on tinder and then met that evening to go dancing.  We didn't get an RFE - I'm guessing the officer read that and thought 'well THAT didn't turn out quite as either of them probably planned!'  :D

Well that's reassuring as me and my fiancée didn't meet on tinder but I did not include terms of service from the site we did meet on. Like it was said before probably depends on who gets your case as to whether or or they will slap you with a RFE for that or not

November 18th filing date and nothing yet. Waaaaaaaa :(

I am an attorney but immigration isnt my field. I didnt hire an attorney. If I screwed the application up, my fiancee will NEVER respect me haaaa!

I am really hoping we get the NOA2 before the end of the week. The only issue we might have is that I didnt do a good job explaining how we met. "We bumped into each other at a bar" which is true, but I probably should have gone into more detail than that. Now, I am second guessing everything.

Good luck to everyone and CONGRATS to those who made it through.

Hang in there seems that your date is approaching closely.

Not sure, I was just following the guide and wondering what is the next step after NOA2. What fees comes after that? Other than getting a case#, do we have to do anything else with Department of State?

After the NOA2 you can gather the information needed for the beneficiary such as I-134 form with the supporting documentation ( tax return, letter from your employer showing salary, time of employment their and your in good standing, deposit history from last 12 months signed by a bank officer, and recent pay stubs from your job ). You will need to get that info to your fiancée (e) and they will fill out DS-160 ( believe it is $160 USD ). Can set up medical exam actually before DS-160 and once all that is set can ask for interview appointment from embassy of beneficiary's country

hello! count us in. we also filed 12/19 (my birthday) and received date 12/21 and NOA1 1/2 also!

Getting there. Starting to seem like March sometime we may get approvals or RFE's but I hear over in the November forum just Nov 14th had 442 cases alone so once they get based that ( which was more cases than the month of November combined ) then I think late February/early March they will begin December cases

I have informed that visa packet will be send to the applicant that will be needed before the interview. Is this necessary? as long as i have my case number and complete documents I can schedule my interview without visa packet? Pls help, im confused about it.

Correct but I would have the identical packet you sent in for I-129f for the beneficiary to look over and of course you will need to bring whatever consulate says they need from checklist such as I-134 affidavit of support with supporting evidence from petitioner as well as a medical exam will be needed for your interview as well. Can search I-134 here on VJ to make sure you have all you need that goes with it.

    Hello,

How soon are you all hoping for the process to take to complete if filing your petition in February?

My fiance is filing mine in February also!!

    Anna

Well the pace has picked up lately with the CSC so I would think from the time you actually file to having your K-1 visa in hand ( assuming CSC keeps at the current pace ) likely 4-6 month window. That also assumes you don't get hit with an RFE
