It took us 31 days. I called on the 31 day and got all the information over the phone then a few days later I got the offical letter. Don't call everyday day. Wait and do it like they say ( start calling on the 30 day) and there will be a little less stress in your life. Nothing is done fast with this government.

It's absolutely permitted to travel to non-US countries while waiting for a K-1 or after obtaining a K-1. You just can't enter the US on another visa/status....you have to enter on a K-1 once it is issued. Just watch the expiration date of the visa.

That said, I also would never blame somebody for being overly cautious given the current environment. The sooner you get into the US, the better.

Hi, I don't see reason why not, couple weeks long layover in Paris maybe :)? Hell yeah!
But personally I would not risk it. What if there is an unforeseen delay in the layover country? My suggestion is to get the US papers,  then travel anywhere you want.

NOTE: I removed "final status" cases (Approved, Rejected, Denied, etc.) from my list today. I also added a little over 1,100 Dec. filers. As such, the  unworked cases table above will have funky numbers...there's more unworked cases today than yesterday since I added so many new cases.

Hi everyone, The number is actually a long code, signifying where, when, and what number case you were to apply that day.
    Example receipt number:
    WAC 11 012 50960
    Service Center (WAC 11 012 50960)
    Fiscal year Year (WAC 11 012 50960) Computer Workday (WAC 11 012 50960)
The third set of digits indicates the computer workday that the case was opened (excludes most weekends and holidays). Case Number (WAC 11 012 50960)The final set of five digits is the case number in the order it arrived in that day.
    Hope this helps!
    Tammie

I wouldn't exactly say "skip". There is definitely as progression from day to day, week to week. More likely, people pick from a big set of cases...some can be worked on right away and are simple, and others may take a while for some reason. If they went ion a strictly first come, first serve manner, I think it would cause a bunch of hold-ups while they go through a large set of more complex cases...whereas they are tryiong to get through as many as possible form day to day (as they are graded/judged on those types of metrics).
That's essentially how the apps and my scripts work. The numbers are sequential, so I just go through every possible number (in order) to find the I-129Fs. Then I only scan those from then onward.

Please scroll back through this forum; the answers to the vast majority of questions that people ask can be found there (though I know that it's difficult to fathom scrolling through 50 pages).

The USCIS processes a range of dates at once; they don't simply go in numerical case order. This is because each person handling the cases works on a stack of cases at a time, there are many, many workers, and while they work in general chronological order, there is usually a couple-week range of dates they are working at any given time. If you follow this forum, you'll see that @geowrian posts nightly (on weeknights) with a drop-down data table showing the number of cases touched, approved, or given an RFE that day, as well as a data essentially showing the number of cases worked on by USCIS receipt date for the several week period he is tracking. He also includes a link to his Google drive spreadsheet, which is massive and quite comprehensive. Check for his posts every night around 8-830 PM PST / 11-1130 PM EST.

So we received our RFE letter today. Basically they just ignored the photos and evidences we sent them. They want more proof that we have met in person for the last 2 years and ignored the evidences we sent them from a couple years back. Like photos we took the first time we met and the years after. Our bad. Lol

We are now again sending them photos we took 2 years ago including plane tickets, hotel room receipts and etc.

I hope the evidences we gonna send them this time are enough to convince them our relationship is genuine. My fiancee and I have been together for 6 years and I would feel so bad if they will reject our petition for the lack of evidence. Keeping my fingers crossed!

To those still waiting for their NOA2, just hang in there. It will come soon and hoping no RFE's for you! Good luck to everyone! ??

So what I did was, I've created the album. I've used about 15 color developed photos, for example when we were in church, when we went out to see the city where my fiance grew up, conservative type photos, smiling, hugging and such. I wrote on the back of each photo when and where we were at the time. Then I've used a transparent 8.5x11" sleeve and taped 3 to 4 pictures inside each. I've also included pictures of any relatives that we visited as an additional proof. Its just easier for them to review. The person that helped us put together petition said they don't need ton of pictures, just the ones important to you and your fiance, none of those overly exposed pictures "sexy" pictures.

On the day of the interview, I decided to go there really early. I usually go to these places early to calm myself lol (medical at 3 am and Interview around 4:30 AM). My schedule for interview is at 6:45 AM J

There are chairs available but don’t sit right away because they will charge you 30 pesos per chair. J And don’t believe the people there that they will ask 4 copies of 2x2 pictures inside the embassy because they just asked 1 copy.

So at around 6 AM they asked us to fall in line and prepare our ds160 and passport. They’ve asked us to put the passport in a zip block bag and they placed a sticker with a number in my ds-160. We went to do scanning area and our stuff went into the machine. They don’t allow the cd from the medical, metal watches, bottled water, cables, chargers, food, candies and of course mobile phones. Then we waited inside for our turn on the pre-screening window. The person in the pre-screening window is a Filipino (Very meticulous). She asked for my ds-160, NBI  clearance, birth certificate, cenomar and passport.

    Questions asked:

    What’s your name?

    Birthday?

How are you related to the petitioner?

    Was I married before?

    Was she married before?

    Children?

    Address of my fiancé?

    My address?

Then she asked if I have pictures and if she can see it. When I pulled my enormous packet (2 full binders) she asked again is that for today? (I smiled sweetly and said yes she said “oh that’s ok just pull it out if the consul ask you later) Then she sent me to data entry and then followed by finger print scanning. J

Last step is the interview. Its quick and weird because I was standing behind the girl that is being interviewed and I heard everything. (Chismis! Lol but they met online through dating website and they’ve been together in less than a year) Anyway… back to my interview questions.

She greeted me good morning and asked if how was I, So I responded great and smiled. She asked for my ds-160 then she stood up and looked for my papers. She was holding a replica of what we submitted I recognized it because it was so thick hahaha!

    Questions she asked:

So tell me something about your fiancé?

I told her the name, address, age, birthday and details about her work.

She asked if my fiancé was married before?

She asked if I’ve been married before?

She asked how did we meet?

She asked if I traveled outside the country?

Did I applyfor a US visa before?

    If I have any children?

    Do I have siblings?

If I feel pressured by mom to have children (she was laughing) so I said no and I laughed with her. Haha

She asked for the pictures. And she saw the huge packet that I have. She said “wow you're prepared thank you”. And then I showed her our pictures but she is intrigued by our first date picture then she asked me to explain what happened that day. So I did. J

She said what happened when my fiancé visited?

    How many times?

What does she do for work?

She asked if I’m a nurse too then I said no. She asked for my occupation?

Then she asked me how did we met. And then she was typing a lot.

We were quiet for like 3 minutes and she was typing a lot. Then she said I am required by law to discuss this with you (its 911 and abuse). And then she said you can just wait for your visa it will be delivered to you within 5 to 10 days. Congratulations you're approved.  and thank you for coming in prepared I appreciate that J J J

I think that consul is one of the nice one’s there J Window 60. J

Because the other consul from 59 and 61 are very serious. And I can hear them because they have mics and they are bombarding the other people with questions.

By 8 AM I am back at the hotel. J
