Hi all!
I called NVC today and they said that on sept 11 our case was sent to Department for reviewing (scan date aug 11). Does anyone know how long it will take after that to get CC?

I called today NVC and the lady said : Birth Certificate, Marriage Certificate, Passport/ID, Police certificate. I believe the fingerprints would be taken after you know your case is complete and you are going to have an interview. They would say it for sure if it was with the whole pack..

That might be a good idea to send it to NVC since it wouldn't change your scan date much and you caught it early, which will save you so much time. I assume NVC will ask for it since they collect all the paperwork for the embassy, but u can always call NVC to confirm and/or check the website to see exactly what format of the documents your country requires

So sending the document now will be another week? I was reading somewhere that if you send it soon enough like 4 weeks after the scan date the date won't change? I'll wait to call Nvc. Thank you!

Hi all,
i have a question regarding a document. Called today the American embassy of my country and they told me there is a specific document that is requaried in front of the embassy. I didn't know about it and we already sent the package. Our scan date is Aug 6. Is it ok if I sent it now and call NVC?at the embassy they said they are the only one that will look at it but I don't want check list from NVC.

If it's just random people's payments having this issue then yeah it's unfair to not be expedited. Yes, you are right. But of course, I look at this as a service we are paying for. And the other thing, there are so many online shops that have good technical support and payment methods. I bet some of them are busier than NVC. It's just a choice if they want to fix it. It's not ok to have this problem since 2012 (saw some other threads since then) and if you use a newer internet browser to get this problem right away.

Both of the fees were taken out of the bank account, the money are gone, they said it's not a good idea to pay them again.
They say the usual, they have technical issues. And I asked if these 2 weeks of nothing happening will be turned into a compensation, so the time frame of waiting won't be 11 weeks, but 9, they said probably not.. It's just not ok.

Ours for sure went through, the money were deducted from the bank account. But still says "Pay now". I've been calling every day, also my husband bugs them all the time.

Hi all! Is there anyone with updated fee payment. AOS has been in process for the last 2 weeks and the other one still shows Pay now, even if the payment went through. Last week a person on the phone told me our case has been reported to a supervisor and the payment has been under review, but nothing after this.

I called because of the same reason and a lady told me that someone is reviewing the payment right now. I hope it will clear soon. I asked how long this would take and she said she can't give me a time frame..

I think the best way to check that is to go to his bank account if he has online banking or call the bank and see of the transaction went through and how many times. If it's more than one he can cancel one of the payments (i believe).

The rep told me to email their service center with my bank statement showing I paid it. I sent the email June 12th and they replied July 8th which is ridiculous. In my case it was just slow and ended up showing paid after a little over a week. I bet the same thing will happen with yours. As far as emailing them, they're slow and inefficient and I wouldn't waste your time.
So exactly what happened was that the fee was paid, we got the receipt and then it showed we need to pay it again. I thought the payment got rejected, but obviously this is not the case.

Does anyone recently has used the "service" emailing NVC? I need to send them a proof of paid fees, because the bank says the payments went through (AOS and IV), but NVC don't have it on their system. So does anyone have had an experience these days? How long does it take them to respond? Thanks!

I called and they said to check with the bank first and if the payment didn't go through to pay it again using windows explorer not safari. If it did to send an email to NVC with a proof of the payment (bank statement I guess) and they will update it for me. They really need to fix this glitch.

Now I started worried. So IV fee was paid yesterday and we got a receipt and it was in progress. Now when I signed up in the system it says PAY NOW. It was in progress minutes ago...

Just reading again my previous texts. Could be confusing for other readers.. Just to clarify to everyone. Do not separate things into separate folders/envelopes. Put everything into one envelope with your barcoded NVC cover letter (the one with the list of required documents) on top.
Do I need to call to confirm the payment or this is automatic? I can bug them if it's needed

The welcome letter should have your case number on it. That's why it's so important to include it. Do not separate things into separate folders and put everything in one envelope. I did and I am very happy and thankful you have put all of the efforts into helping people! Just sometimes the steps look confusing! So we are ready to get done with this and start the new waiting. Really hope for a faster process. It was 7 months in USCIS.

We need to print off the receipts of the payment and attach it with each of the package, right? And the bar-coded sheets are the ones we got from NVC first welcome letters?

My husband paid AOS and IV fee and now we are waiting on DS-260 to be available. Both of the fees have status "in process". When I complete DS-260 can we send the package out even if the fees are with this status?
