HI,
I had an interview today (Newark NJ) and my medical exams was already expired.
The officer didn't ask at all about medical exams.
So, I am happy that I didn't spend extra money to repeat everything.

Hello durden2128,
The process of waiting for the AP/Employment Authorization made me feel like in a prison. It is hard but who said that it was supposed to be easy? And it is about a period of time, not forever.
So, I think that you already knew and understood that they will abandon the process if they leave.
If they are that desperate to go, it is because they are not connected enough to US.
If you are still patient to not send them to Russia and live your life without such a terrible pressure (because even love has a limit), you should tell them to try to find out more connections to stay.
What they can do when they are waiting:
- Improve their English or learn a new language
- Calculate how much is the lifestyle that the whole family want
- Look for jobs and their requirements that can support the family lifestyle
- See courses/ trainings and workshops that each one can attend to improve their resume and their salaries in the future, as soon as the Employment Authorization arrive.
I hope you feel better soon.

Hi MK,
I can share my experience with you.
We started the K1 process on October 2016. On November 2016 I came from Brazil to US with a B1/B2 Visa. At the port of entrance, the officer asked the traditional "What are you here for?" I explained that I was here to visit my boyfriend. Than she asked "For how long?" It was 2 months. She checked the computer and saw that it was my third time here as a tourist in the same year. She asked if I don't work? Who was supporting me for the trips? I told that I have my savings. Buy the end she stamped my passport allowing me to stay legally here for 6 months. Ufa! I didn't create any fake situation.
I can tell you that it is legal and you can come with your B1/B2 as a tourist while waiting for the K1. As you are going to do training at the university, check first if it is necessary another type of visa.
I hope that I could help!

Hi, during my interview in Brazil (K1) they didn't ask for any kind of pictures. They checked all documents required and asked two questions: How we met, and, if any of us were previously married. I had with me pictures of us in different places, but they never saw them.

Thank you so much for your answer.
The child and mom didn't fill together. I agree that work on marriage will be the best.
Thank you again!

I have a friend thad came here as a tourist, got married on April 2016 and filled the AOS. On May 2017 she did the interview and on June 2017 she received a conditional GC, but now the husband found another person and wants to leave the house.
They are doing couples therapy but the husband is dating a European girl and wants a divorce. It is being a very hard time. My friend loves her husband and even with the problem she is doing her best to keep the marriage.
Is there any condition that she can stay legally here if the divorce happen?
She has a daughter in College, 20 years old, and the daughter is still waiting for her GC based on the mother's condition.

74 days waiting. Last week I called them about the AP because I really would like to visit my family during Christmas, but they told me that they are working on AP received on the 20th of April 2017. I can't understand this timelines... Anyway, I am making other plans because I don't believe that the AP will be approved before December anymore.

Hi, in my case the difference of age was about the same and it was approved without any extra question about the age.
About the numbers of visit, it was 3.
