We received our NOA as well today, same type of letter, greenish and heavy paper etc. Was surprised. Also noted the 18 month extension. Moving forward nicely.
I think that biometrics won't change from the past but sometimes the US citizens spouse can be called for biometrics too but I haven't seen it personally. Waiting for biometrics letter now.. Tic toc lol.

USPS notifies me that I will get a mail from USCIS. Not sure what it is. I hope it's an extension letter.

Mailed my application February 18, arrives in Lewisville Texas February 19. Credit Card processed today February 22 and received text with case # also today . Case starts with LIN so I’m guessing Nebraska it is! Let the waiting game begin!

Sometimes HR are not fully aware of immigration rules. I emailed the link and snapshot of the USCIS emplyer manual to my HR and they told me that they did not have completed I-9 form for me.
Once I gave them copy of my green card, they told me that I am not required to refill I-9 form as per the manual.
Please try talking to your HR and explain about the rules stated in i9 form. Find out what are they using as your employment authorization. Please call USCIS again and tell them about your job situation and that your green card is expired. Some people ask for tier 2 officers to talk to who have more info.

If you provided your 2yr conditional Green Card when you starting working for your current employer to complete the I-9 form, then your employer cannot ask you for proof of work authorization again or do Re-verification. It would be illegal for them to do this.
As mentioned in the previous post, sometimes HR folks are not fully aware of the rules. I posted links from the Handbook for Employers M-274 (Official USCIS guide for Form I-9) in this thread earlier (see link below). You can send them to your employer so that they can re-educate themselves.
Secondly, if you have an unrestricted Social Security Card, you can also use that for proof of work authorization

Haha yeah. Such a relief. Let's see if we will get our new card at the same month like we did before

I’m so glad that your check is cashed and you got your receipt number. You feel calm now? 😊

Did you use your 2yr conditional GC when you starting working for your current company & filled the initial I-9?
If yes, then your employer cannot ask you to refill / re-verify the I-9 form again.
https://www.uscis.gov/i-9-central/complete-correct-form-i-9/completing-section-3-reverification-and-rehires
Also, if your 2 yr GC has not yet expired, you can still try to apply for the unrestricted Social Security card.

My NOA number showed “invalid” for 2 days after receiving the txt. Now it says “case received....you don’t have to do anything at this stage”.

Do you know if there is a period of waiting time after receiving your case number via text before entering new case info to track? We got the text this morning and tried to add it to the "my case" section but it comes up invalid..
Thanks for any info..

Received text notification this morning, Credit Card was charged the 15th so I assume that the long holiday weekend delayed the text being sent until today.
Our case was sent to Nebraska I believe ...LIN

I think you are referring to the USCIS Phoenix Lockbox. This is just the filing location, not the Service Center.
The first 3 characters of your receipt # tells you the USCIS service center or office that received & is processing your case:
SRC - Texas Service Center (TSC)
LIN - Nebraska Service Center (NSC)
WAC - California Service Center (CSC)
EAC - Vermont Service Center (VSC)
MSC - Missouri Service Center (MSC), now known as National Benefits Center (NBC)
YSC - Potomac Service Center
IOE - ELIS (e-Filing)
For example, my receipt # starts with LIN, so my case is at the Nebraska Service Center

It depends on the person reviewing your case, I submitted the same type of album for AOS and during the AOS interview without any issues.

Nothing happens. I think I'll call them back again. I just looked at your timeline. It's funny because my interview was the same day with your interview and at the same location in Boston for our conditional greencard. Now we sent our I751 on the same day
