Just take your marriage certificate with you in case they ask.Got my biometrics today for 12/29 :-) Faster than I expected! I filed under married name but as yet I haven't changed it on my SSN or any other documentation. Will my passport (with maiden name) and our marriage certificate suffice? Surely they can see from K-1 applications that it's the same person?

Hello everyone!
We filed on November 2, and on December 5th we got an RFI. It was something simple, we forgot to sign the affidavit of support. On December 13th, we mailed the response using priority mail, (takes 2-3 days), and according to the USPS tracking system, it arrived at Lee's Summit today and it is out for delivery.
Now, I decided to check the status at myUSCIS, (don't ask me why, I wasn't really expecting a change since they haven't received it yet). Today it says "Request for Evidence Received"
"On December 14, 2016, we received your response to our Request for Evidence for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status."
Now evidently this is a mistake, should we do something? Should we inform them or wait?
Thank you and good luck to everyone!
It makes no sense informing them. Usually they would correct there mistakes. Usps delivery time frame is sometimes different from what is reported when tracking. My package was delivered at 10am but when tracking it said delivered at 1pm. It was later updated in usps system for 10am.

We had the same appointment date in the same building? Lol, I wish I'd seen some people to talk to in the same process. I was surrounded by lots of Hispanic people. I hope you hear something soon!! I hope they started approving EAD's with our dates next week at least!
My biometrics was done on the 11/22/2016. No update on EAD either

Hi all
I am October 31th filer, my PD is November 1th
Can anyone tell me how to edit my own recent post? (posted on December 12th) I made one mistake.
It seems that is no option to edit a post, only few minutes after posting...
I'm not completely so stupid , but if it possible, please tell me, how to correct post.
So, if isn't possible I can correct this mistake - my biometric schedule for December 20th
DISCLAIMER: Please excuse my ABC & Gramm@r I am not an editor...
What's exactly you want to update? Your post? Or Timeline? Because your timeline is saying you filed 11/14/2016. Not 10/31/2026....

Interesting. We received a status update that fingerprint fees have been accepted. To those that have received an RFE, did this status preceed your RFE? Just curious.
Thanks in advance.
For I-485 that's the only update until RFE or interview.....
-
Well that answer a doudtt I had... if you received a RFE just after receiving the NOA1. It means that those that have recieved NOA1 and no RFE yet... are OK in the documents departments at least until after biometrics.
No that's not what it means. RFE can come at anytime. Before biometrics or after. Sometimes even on the day of biometrics or in some cases a few days before or after...

There is no change to my EAD but my I-485 changed to ready to be scheduled for an interview on the 5.
Hi everyone - question for those who have not received EAD approval yet, but did your fingerprints - did your EAD status change at all? Fingerprint was done on 11/9 and the EAD update only says case was received.
For I-485 status, it only says fingerprint fee was received.
Yay! I got the EAD card is being produced. Just received a message.
My priority date was 3rd of October and Biometric was 16th of November
Congrats.
My current status reads card being produced.
Thank God.
Hope everyone gets their ead/ap card soon.
My date for noa1 for i765 was Oct 3 with early bio on Nov 2nd.
Congrats

Current processing times state that USCIS is processing EAD's for October 3rd!!! Moving fast!!!
Where can I find this information?

Which field office?
Has anyone received updates over the weekend or today? It seems as if last weeks notifications arrived on Monday so I was hoping to see many new comments with updates... Processing times show that they're getting to EAD's from Sept 27th. That means that they'll get to mine next week (fingers crossed)! It would be a nice Christmas gift if my husband received his before the holidays!
Hey guys.
No more movements for me as yet. My field office is NBC. They're processing time for I-765 is 3 months, and they are currently they were working on cases from September 30th. (Last updated: 11/16/2016). A little under a month ago.

It can be before or after biometric..
Guys I have a question; if uscis deems necessary to ask for more evidence, would they send an RFE before or after they send the biometrics letter/appointment?

Wow. Guess they having issues.
I hadn't checked my status yet today so I wanted to do that an hour ago but it said it wasn't working. Had no access to it. Will try again tomorrow!

I received 4 text and emails from USCIS.
My NOA1s
So one question as they had just accepted my forms. That means no RFE was found needed?
No that's not what it means.
It means they have accepted your package, they don't send packages back unless the fee is incorrect. If something is missing or they need additional documents that's when you get an RFE...
Acceptance means your application passed simple checks that it had the minimum data to be input on the system. That means correct fee, signature, essential data filled out on the form. It got the green light for processing, but no assessment on sufficiency for approval was made. An adjudicator can still issue a RFE or RFIE if deemed necessary during the procedure.
Exactly.

Hi, EAD is 90 days from NOA1 date. For SSN you'll need your EAD and for drivers license i think it depends on which state you're in, some state doesn't require SSN to apply for drivers license.
