Well hello to the November filer thread - Part 2.
 
It's been a while since I posted glad to see Geo, Art, Vogann, and others are more than holding the fort down.
 
Just loving it here in the Philippines.
Well today is Day 107 since NOA 1.
3 day weekend which means no processing on Mondy
 
Noon here so I ran the USCIS app.
I show only 8 cases left out of over 350
from 10/31 receipt date.
 
 Petition Approved 
 
15 weeks and 2 days for our NOA 2
 
Congrats to all the recent approvals and NVC activity.
 
We already have an appointment for CFO next week which is specific to Philippines.
 
Hang on for others still waiting doubtful you will have to wait 107 days.

Just FYI,
I found this youtube video to show you how to track your application from NVC to the Embassy. 
 
 

Nothing that comes fast and easy in life feels and seems valuable. Nothing in my life come easy, got approved after 80 days, seems weird that others are still waiting.Always try to prepare for worst so when good things happen feels as you deserve it and appreciate it more. Believe me anxiety don't end with approval. I have imagine spend my life by myself, now have someone, if it takes some time to be together is OK. Beats hell out of life before we met.

I got our NVC case #! I wasn't really expecting NVC to have it since its only been 10 days since our case got approved. I called them anyway expecting them to shoo me away and tell me to call back some other day in the future, so it's a pleasant surprise to hear that they have our case # assigned! If you guys got approved on the 7th of November, try your luck with NVC now, they might also have it!

Well that's not good... it means that Rhinos Fighting Elephants 
If elephants lose you petition gets denied.
Soon you'll get a letter telling you what you need to send to help the elephants.. just wait for now... and pray for elephants 

This afternoon, I left for a work conference in San Francisco.  I decided that I wasn't going to think about the visa at all -- I was just going to enjoy being in California.  The plane landed, I took my phone out of airplane mode, and the app said APPROVED!!!!!! I almost burst into tears in seat 23B.  I keep checking the app again just to make sure it's real!

That is exactly what happened to me! I used FB to video my fiancee and decided to check real quick right after she picked up because I saw a bunch of new VJ posts in my email. It was just before 10PM.....tired from working....I squinted because something looked different....checked it 3x....yeah!
I am leaving to the Philippines on 2/24. I gave us a 50/50 the NOA2 would arrive by then. Guess the dice rolled our way today.
So happy to hear you are having a great day too!

Guys. It's my birthday today and i was hoping to get approved. I took a nap at work after lunch and when i woke up, i checked my app, it says approved. I couldn't believe it. I checked the other app and USCIS website too. I'm so happy. ???

Thank you for doing this work eons earlier than you need to be (given that you are a mid-December filer). You could easily have run the cases the first couple days, realized you had a while to wait, and not done it nighly for people. Folks look forward to your updates so much and they are so much appreciated.

For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
Slower day today. That said, late Nov. cases are starting to be approved in addition to the early and mid Nov. cases.
 
Note: 2 cases were approved today mixed in with the Dec. filers. They were, however, Nov. filers just with later case numbers. USCIS, please...

I agree with @amye. As much as we want to all complain and add to other people's negativity, we should turn it around and stay positive and patient.   Complaining or being negative does not help you or anyone at all, it just brings everybody down.  we all know that everything will all be worth it, that is why this forum was created in an effort to lift everyone's spirit.  @JimJesDuma is one of the best examples, he has been waiting for more than 100 days and still being positive. 
 
BTW, i am not a hypocrite, i also get disappointed and i curse when I don't see ours getting approved but well, there is always tomorrow. lol.
