  1. Thanks for the reply. Her parents do fulfill the income requirement and she is also looking for a new job as well. Do i have to take the new job letter if she gets into new company before my interview?

You can bring it with you for safety, because there is a possibitliy the interviewer might ask about your wife's current job position, but i think you'll be fine since your wife and her parents are supporting you.

  2. Hello People . As i am waiting for the interview to be scheduled soon. I already got a case complete last week. I would like to know when we submitted AOS forms and fees my wife(petitioner) was working at different place. As of now she left that job due to certain reasons and looking for a change now. I would like to know do we have to carry a new I-864 form with us to the intervierw with the changes or not ? We also have co-sponsers as in her parents to support the income requirement. Please let me know about it.

    Thanks.

if her parents have helped co sponsor, then I'm sure you'll be fine, assuming that her parents meet the income requirement. I believe as long as the I-864 is accurate on the date it was signed, then you shouldn't need to change it.

  3. Does anyone know if the urine sample is a new requirement for the medical exam? The consulate information for San Jose Costs Rica says only a blood test and X-ray is required but the lady who did the blood test is trying to say we have to pay $100 extra for a urine test now.

I believe it is a required test, so it's important to be well prepared.

  4. Steps as follow:

    1. They enter your USCIS receipt number into their system: 2 weeks

    2. Issue NVC case number, send welcome letter, AOS invoice and DS-261 form: 6 weeks.

    3. Send IV invoice: As soon as step 2 clears

    4. DS-160/DS-260: As soon as step 3 clears

    5. Send IV and AOS packets: As soon as step 4 is done.

    6. Case Complete: 6 weeks, counting from the day the NVC receive your IV and AOS packets.

    7. In line for interview: 6 to 8 weeks after Case Complete.

  5. So I have to wait a month or so after case being complete be scheduled an interview? Is that mean around that time i will be able to receive the appointment letter?

Well, hopefully you will get an interview letter around that time. Nobody knows how many people lined up before you or how many interview slots available in February in Philippines. So hopefully you will get a letter at the end of the week (week of 26 December to 30 December).

  6. I had a eh feeling that would be the case since we got cc end of the month. How long do you need to wait to get your interview though? Or should I just keep calling and wait till I get an email or letter?

I would say be patient and wait. the US Embassy in Philippines will send out their available February interview slots in the last week of December, so you would know around that time if you get an interview in February or not.

  7. How long did it take for you to reach the stage of the interview? When did you submit your packages AOS and IV? Did you have to have a join sponsor?

Please advise as my case will eventually go to Riyadh as well

Well, like previous comments, the interview will take 6 to 8 weeks to schedule, given that the NVC has already sent you a letter in regards to receiving all of the required documents.
