5 months is the standard expecting time. You can give them a call.

Thank you! My husband and I have been married for 4 years, then I shouldn't have any problems.
-
Just wondering beside asking for proof/evidence of relationship, what questions would the CO asks during the interview?
-
It has no problem. I have also printed out pictures from Facebook with my persona inkjet printer.

you should check on USCIS website and see if they have really sent it to the NVC yet. If it has been sent, it will take the NVC up to 2 weeks from the date sent to receive your case. Then it will take them another 6 weeks to issue you a NVC case and an invoice for AOS fee. So you should count 2 weeks from the date sent from USCIS before calling NVC to check if they have received anything in regards to your case. their phone number is +1.603.334.0700.

Well, pretty much the same thing happened to me. I was approved from the USCIS on the 24th August, and they didn't send my USCIS case to the NVC until the 27th September. When I called the NVC the week after the NOA was sent, they told me that it would take them up to 6 weeks to enter the USCIS case into their system, and after they have enter the case into the NVC system, it will take them 2 weeks to issue a NVC case number.
-
I believe there shouldn't affect anything, because you have a year to complete all information required to do from the NVC.
You should send the rest of the required documents, such as police certificate, Affidavit of Support form, birth certificate, etc to the NVC. About a week after you've sent them, you can call them and ask if they have received it or not.
-
maybe delay the interview? because I'm pretty sure that if you don't have the police certificate, the US embassy might give you a 221g based on not enough evident.
-
true true, despite whoever is applying for you, you will still need to be honest when you get to the DS260.
-
-
Maybe your mum can try applying for you as an immediate family.
-
if you're married then get a green card, if not then try apply for K-1 fiancé visa. no harm in trying.

if your husband has any assets, you can add that onto the I-864 that you fill out.

I'm just asking ahead of time, but how long does a medical report take to produce? I am going to get one from Hong Kong.
-
well, if you're afraid to lose anything at the airport, a car trip would always seems fun!
-
I am not 100% sure, but in my personal opinion, I think you should wait until the Green Card has arrived before you visit Canada to be safe, but at the same time, since you already have the immigrant visa on your passport, you should be able to reenter.
-
Yes you should include it even if it's accident from 21 years ago, it's important to be as honest as possible. You should ask if you can get the police certificate translated if it's in Arabic.

the rfe asked for g325 a biographical forms and passport sized photos....im just afraid that USCIS may have misplaced the i130 form or they may have chosen not to process it.....
The G325 and passport size photos are items that go along with the I-130. Don't worry, they won't misplace it. You just got to provide those information that are requested and they will process your I-130
-
i mean that the response to the rfe was sent in september ending of 2015.... making d i 130 pending for over 15 months now
what evident was the USCIS requesting?? you should definitely call and ask them this time! 15 months is way too long to be waited..
-
yes, I believe it says $505 for the form plus $85 for biometric, and $85 per child for the biometric. No need for the dependent children to pay the I-751 $505 fee.
-
does the Nebraska branch really take that long?
-
oh well, I really don't know then... the best advise would be to call them and ask. I know some people who have waited for 6 months until they were approved.
-
As I said, my priority date is July 11th. I hope it is going to be approved by the end of this month.
yes hopefully. Since you have filed the I-130 exactly 2 month after mine, I'm guessing that you would get approved on October 24, when is exactly 2 month after me.
But if you haven't gotten approved yet, you should give the USCIS a call and enquire for status.
-
Did you get an email or text? Was it updated on the website? People say that they don't update the website sometimes and don't even send email.
My husband filed through mail, so he received an I-797 in the mail.
July
you should wait for one more week. if you don't get anything then, you should call USCIS and ask what's going on.

then you should apply for a K-1 fiancé(e) visa, because the two of you plan to marry after she enters the states. the procedure isn't so complicated, so without a lawyer would work. it's really up to you if you want to pay extra for a lawyer.
