these are the vitamins I just got. they're huge but the flavor on the outside is actually quite nice. I hate taking a multi vitamin because they taste so nasty but these are ok! http://www.viactiv.com/products/index.jhtm...lavorGlides.inc
The name VIACTIV kinda reminds me of VIAGRA

My eyelids twitch when I drink too much coffee.
BTW, I'll give a great big atta-boy or atta-girl to the first person who can identify the person in my avatar photo.
my eye doctor told me that your eyes will twitch when you don't get enough sleep because I asked about it specifically
Ah, yes that's why I'm drinking so much coffee!
it's ui wish ... but no it's not me

My fiancée is very concerned about what to wear to her interview (she doesnt know the date yet, our NOA2 was just approved) she doesn't know what the requisites are: business, casual, etc.
The main reason she is concerned is she lives in the province, and the stores there do not have anything decent as far as dresses go (I know from first hand knowledge...we shopped there for our pamanhikan) but she will have cash on hand when she gets to Manila to buy something nice...she just wants to know what is required to wear.
If anyone has any knowledge on this subject, please let us know...she tends to worry about things like this
Thanks in advance!
I'd say it's not important really, just don't dress like a prostitute!
But seriously, it was cool in there and you have to sit around waiting a while, so I'd suggest wearing long sleeves and you might want to bring a sweater.

I don't. I'm just using him for sex and for a green card.
Finally an honest poster!

I will travel alone. My ticket shows I have to go Guam, Hawaii, Texas and Florida. So, my POE is Guam right? Can you give me DOs and Donts please....I already research but, i need to hear from your experiences. Thanks a whole lot guys
I guess you got my PM already but yes Guam is your POE. But that's just for Immigration. Baggage is another matter. When we flew from Manila to Guam and then on to Honolulu last February, we got our bags in Honolulu, not Guam.
how huge is the airport? is it an easy POE for a first timer?
my husband and i are looking for an easy not so huge and time consuming airport for my POE in the future, we're thinking of Vegas, detroit or maybe guam...... i guess baggage depends on the airlines... sometimes they transfer it directly to where youre going...no need to get the luggages.. but sometimes you do.. guess just have to ask when checking in if you have to get and transfer luggages on connecting flights... thanks in advance!
looking for POE experiences from Detroit, Vegas, and Guam.... anything else u can suggest as an easy POE will do.. pls dont hesitate to write down any info...
The Guam airport is small and the POE was really easy. The officer was a Philipino guy who was really nice (but only Tagalog ).
The Guam baggage entry is processed in Honolulu because of US Customs, not the airlines. You bags have to be claimed and rechecked onto the US domestic flight.
One of my friends entered in Las Vegas and said it was easy too, but from what they told me, not as easy as Guam.

Here's a case for you. One of our friends came here from another country to marry a USC. She is now pregnant with their child. Unfortunately the guy is a nut-case who can't hold a job. He's a pretty good actor and can act normal when he wants to but the signs are there if you look (I've spoken to him on several occasions). They live with his parents because he can't keep a job, so he just sponges off his parents. He got fired from his last job at a casino for taking bribes. She has recently found out that he was married before (another K-1) and the first wife left him when she found out he's a pedophile (has not been caught yet).

It's simple really. Clinton could beat McCain, but Obama can't. That's why Obama needs to get the nomination.

Step up the pressure.
- Enforce the law and fix it if it's not appropriate.
- Secure the border with fence and survelance.
- Impliment tamper-proof IDs for VISA holders.
- Increase the number of low-skilled work VISAs.

Our baby had a little ID tag on his cord stump until we left the hospital, and we all 3 had bracelets with matching numbers. Each time the baby was taken from, or returned to, the room the staff would check all 3 ID bracelets.

I'll tell you why I started this topic.
There are many reasons why I love my wife, but one thing that I think about often is how she brings out the best in me. Like sometimes, just when something irritates me or I'm heading for a bad mood, she's there to remind me that if I'm not happy, she feels bad too and ...
I want her to be happy, more than anything ...

Why do you love your spouse? Tell the truth!

My fiancée is concerned that once she arrives in the US on her K1 visa that she won't be able to return home to visit her family for more than two years. She got this information from a friend of hers who is currently in the US on a K1 and recommended that we file for a K3 if she wants to return home sooner.
I did some research here on VJ and just want to confirm my own conclusions. If we file for a K1, then my fiancée can return home once her I-485, AOS, is approved. According to the USCIS timetable that takes about 7 months to process(CVS). The 2 year period that her friend claims appears to be a worse case scenario. If my fiancée wishes to return home sooner than that, or just to be on the safe side, we have the option of filing for an I-131, Advance Parole, which appears to take about 6 months to process(CVS).
Am I missing anything here? I just want to make sure I got all the facts straight before I explain them to my fiancée, so there wont be any confusion further down the road.
Your fiancee's friend is mistaken and your conclusions are correct. Your fiancee will be able to travel outside the US after she receives her green card which will probably be 3-6 months after filing the I-485.

Hello everyone!
We are ready to submit Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status.
My question is : Does my husband has to do the vaccination first, the TITANUS VACCINE I believe, the one that was not available in the Phils. Or can we submit the application without it. Any help is highly appreciated.
Thanks.
Yolly
We sent my wife's without the TD shot or I-693a (we sent the DS-3025) and her AOS was approved without interview or RFE. We know a lot of people who did it that way and all were approved without RFE.
You can send without it and if they really want it they will let you know. The RFE would only cost you maybe 2 weeks anyway.

If possible. she should take the medical early, about a month before interview.

I wish my wife could speak Espanol. As it is, it will take me 100 years to learn Bisaya.

If I were the democrats I'd be very concerned about this- even when polls show either of their candidates with a slight lead to me that is very bad news for them.
Think about it. Ever since the primaries began and especially now, all you hear about is Obama, Obama, Obama, Clinton, Clinton, Clinton. Each of them has told you how they would lead, how they are so qualified.
How much from McCain have you heard? Maybe he is in the news 1/20th of either of the two democrats and yet- he is still about even in the polls with them. Not much campaigning to speak of and he's right there with two candidates who are constantly in your face.
I think there may be more who say they would vote for McCain over a Democrat, but im not sure how many of those people will show up in November. McCain doesn't exactly have a huge amount of support from even his own party.
I also think alot of support for McCain depends on who he chooses as his VP. If someone very conservative, he will get more party support and less independent support. If someone more moderate, I don't think Republican turnout will be very high in Novemeber, but he might get more Independents his way.
There are also people who likely wont make thier mind up until shortly before the election.
As far as this poll is concerned, I wouldn't put much stock in it. Alot can change in the next few months.
He'll pick a moderate.

The General Election is essentially tied no matter who the Democrats nominate.
It's McCain 45% Obama 44% and McCain 46% Clinton 44% (see recent daily results).
In both match-ups, McCain enjoys more unified support from Republicans than his opponents do from Democrats.
A Rasmussen Reports look at the race suggests that John McCain may be the luckiest man on the planet since Ringo Starr.
Both McCain and Starr were in the right place at the right time and everything broke their way. The question now is will McCain's luck last until November.
I predicted this a long time ago, but it's happening sooner than I thought it would.

I don't like this at all. I was hoping Obama would get the nomination and then go down in flames later, not NOW!

We just got our 12-week-old boy the FP Rain Forest Take-Along Swing. He loves it and we can take it with us when we visit friends.
Oh, and the Stridor is gone - we just cancelled the ENT appointments.
