Congratz. I also got notification today that my EAD is being produced but no notification about AP. Do you know USCIS send one notification for both(EAD/AP) or i should wait for separate notification? Is there any chances of refusal notification? I am just upset why USCIS send me only notice for EAD.
I didn’t get any kind of notification or update in case tracker, I just got the combo card in the mail and about a week later I received the “notification of approval” it is weird. Any of My cases have been updated online!

Yesterday I received the hardcopy of my notification of acceptance for the como card (EAD/AP) even though I receiver the combo card last week. is very strange, it seems like they are not updating the site maybe? My case Is still showing “case was received” nothing has happened in the site

For mine, i simply re-submitted the form making sure page 3 part 4 was filled, and then left page 11 autofilled.
As to the promotion question, I believe that honesty is the best policy...
Hope it works out for you.
THanks!! We submitted our documents today, and with the cover letter we explained the error and also the update in my husbands job 😊

hi just want to ask wen u had ur biometrics did the consulate ask u if u want to change ur middle name before they will gonna do biomterics
I would do some research about how to change your name in the State, in my case Florida, the way I did it at least,
1. I applied for a Social Security Card with my maiden name.
2. When I received the card, I was married already, so I went back and changed my name in the Social Security office.
3. When I sent my AOS I filled it with my married name and listed my maiden name.
4. Now that I have my NOA I will go and get my driver's licence or State ID to have a picture ID with my married name.
As far as I understand, the way you wrote your name in the AOS application is how it will appear in your green card, yesterday when I went to my biometrics appointment, they kept reminding me to sign with my married name since that's the name I used in my applications.
Did you sent your AOS already?
If you did, I believe you can change your name just after you receive your green card

hello! I just found this forum, and it matches our RFE.
The requests:
1. The petitioner submitted Form I-864, Affidavit of support; however, the names listed on Page 1 and Page 3 are not the same or Page 1 and/or 3 is blank (we left it blank)...after that, they requested to send the form again with all the supporting documents.
We know how to fix it, we made a very stupid mistake, so is very simple.
Our mistake was that we didn’t add my husbands information in Page 3-Part 4; Items 1.a - 1,c
The questions:
My husband was promoted a few days after we sent my AOS Application, is obvious that we should send everything updated, but should we send a short explanation about the changes?
Also, with the Form I-864 we sent just the necessary requests (Tax, w2, employee letters, pay stubs). Should we send this time our additional assets (investments, stocks, savings etc)? In the form it says is optional, so we though we didn't need them, because the annual income is more than the poverty lines.
(It was a fast response and a few big changes since we submitted the documents, we dont want it to look suspicious or anything, any recommendation?)
2. The joint sponsor submitted Form I-864, Affidavit of support; however, the names listed on Page 1 and Page 3 are not the same or Page 1 and/or 3 is blank. Submit a completed and signed for I-864, from the joint sponsor, provide copies of joint sponsor’s most recent Federal income tax etc... For this one, we have no idea what happened, im guessing they assumed we have a joint sponsor because we didn't add my husbands name in page 3? but we have no joint sponsors.
so, Should we attach a letter saying that we don’t have joint sponsors? Or should we just ignore that and send the request in point 1 with the correct form?
Any advice will be highly appreciated, and also wondering if you happen to have a Sample cover letter for this case?

Just came back from my biometrics appt. It was fast! I got there 30 min early and I didn’t have to wait for to long... it took about 30 min probably less the whole process (go through security, wait in line, fill a short form, go to a line again, called my turn, biometrics, picture) and done!

They will send you a different letter.
First you get the NOA hardcopy and in our case, about a week later we received the Biometrics Appointment 😊

When did you submit your package?
After you fix the error, "reattach" all documents you sent earlier (tax returns for the last 3 years, paystubs, bank account, investment accounts, employment verification letter, etc) and write a cover letter in the beginning.
This is what I had for I-864:
I-864 Affidavit of Support (signed and dated) by the Petitioner
Copy of the Petitioners Permanent Residency Card (front and back)………..Supplement 2-1
Copy of Petitioner’s birth certificate………..Supplement 2-2
Copy of Petitioner's Passport biography Supplement ………..Supplement 2-3
Copy of the Petitioner's W-2s for years 2016, 2015, and 2014 ………..Supplement 2-4
Copies of Petitioner's federal income tax returns for years 2016, 2015, and 2014 ………..Supplement 2-5
Copies of 6 latest pay stubs. May 15 2017 – September 01 2017………..Supplement 2-6
Copy of Petitioner's Primary Investment account ………..Supplement 2-7
Letter from Petitioner’s current employer stating position, salary and start date………..Supplement 2-8
Form I-864P – Poverty Guidelines………..Supplement 2-9
Date filed: 2017-10-04
NOA Date: 2017-10-12
RFE: 2017-11-01 (got the hardcopy yesterday)
Bio. Appt: 2017-11-08We submitted all the documents you mentioned before, so we will send them again! Thanks a lot guys!!We will also submit a cover letter explaining that we don’t have/need a joint sponsor as @Clara Monteiro suggested 😊 -
Hello everyone!
We got our RFIE hardcopy letter yesterday. It seems like we made a mistake filling the form I-864 Affidavid of support.
we are looking for some advise please!!
Our mistake was that we didn’t add my husbands information in Page 3-Part 4; Items 1.a - 1,c (we feel so stupid lol)
For this one, we have no idea what happened, but we have NO joint sponsors.
* How should we proceed?
* Should we attach a letter saying that we don’t have joint sponsors? Or should we just ignore that and send the request in point 1 with the correct form?
We believe they assumed we have a joint sponsor because of our mistake in pooint 1?
Any advice will be highly appreciated 😊

Great news, we have our interview date set, it's on December 5th! It has been a blessing because my wife is scheduled for the birth of our baby on December 6th via C-section, we can't believe the timing of her AOS, less then 90 days from mailing packet to interview! Hope everyone else is getting interview appointments or seeing progress. I think it really depends on where you live and how busy your local USCIS office is, we are in a smaller city in Washington State. Looks as though we won't even need the AP we filed and haven't even heard anything from it. My guess is that it isn't even necessary at this point since interview date is so soon, my wife doesn't plan on going anywhere soon anyways, haha.
Thats amazing!!! Congratulations!! Let us know how the intervgoes!!

I used express mail, it was supposed to be delivered on Monday but for some unknown reason was delayed and it was delivered on Wednesday argh... I read somewhere that when you send a personal check sometimes takes a little bit of time to cash it, and for that reason I sent a money order... but also haven’t heard anything yet, I completely dislike this waiting
-
Nothing yet, mine was received 1 day after yours. I hope we all hear something soon!

I would call USPS and ask about the package with the tracking number if you have one. And keep checking your bank accounts to see if your check or credit card has been cashed/charged.
I sent my package 09/18 was supposed to be delivered 09/21, I signed up for text notifications for the tracking #, on 9/22 I called USPS with the tracking info and they said it was running late, 2 days later no news still running late according to them, yesterday called again and my package is still "running late".
USPS is having lots of issues, but for my tranquility my card was charged yesterday with the $680 fee by USCIS.
