My wife is on day 80 since reception date. She also has a job waiting for her, just needs to get her EAD.
Every time I have to deal with a federal government agency it just pisses my off more and more. $2000 in fees for them to push paper around a desk......

Congrats to everyone! Glad to see so many people getting their Visas!
My fiancee came home with me on the 11th and is now exploring America with me It's a lot of fun and she is finding America more pleasant than she thought she would.
Wish everyone the best!

There are instructions on the Kyiv embassy website on how to schedule. You can call and schedule or schedule online.

Done with my medical exams last december 8 and got the result december 9. Super thankful that i passed the medical. Now i am so ready for my interview on the 22nd except i am still waiting for the affidavit of support my fiance sent to me. He sent it last Nov.18 and accrdg to USPS it will just take 7-10 days. its already 3 weeks since he sent it and still receive no mail. Starting to freak me out.
I don't think they require a copy with a wet signature. A scanned and emailed copy should work.

Just wanted to share what I saw during our interview.
My fiancee and I were directly ahead of another couple during the interview process. When we were called to the window to hand over the necessary documents, we had everything ready and organized. We came with all the documents sorted and in transparent folders (which wasn't necessary). We spent about 10 mins at the window handing over documents, signing papers, and doing finger prints. Zero problems and easy process.
Now the couple directly behind us was a different story. I don't know how much this played in to it, but they looked like a total mismatch. She looked like she was around 22-23 years old and had supermodel good looks, definitely a very pretty and well dressed girl. He on the other hand was a heavyset, mid 30's American man, that looked like a complete slob. Didn't look like he had bathed recently and looked like he was wearing dirty clothes. I mention this because when they got to window to hand over documents she was getting grilled with questions already. They did not have their documents organized and seemed to be missing some. The lady behind the counter was an older Ukrainian, and seemed very suspicious of them I would say. They stayed at the window for a long time.
Our interview only lasted a few minutes and we didn't wait around to see how theirs went, but if the encounter at the document window was any indication, they were going to be in for a rough interview.
Make sure you have your documents in order!

Thanks everyone! The fiancee and I are very excited. We were hoping to have her come here after Gregorian Christmas and it looks like it will be happening
Right now the CEAC website shows Admin Processing. Just waiting for it to change to order tickets

Just got finished with the interview. Visa is approved! Following the advice on this site made it an easy and pain free process

So they did ask for her vaccination records at the medical appt. I don't know why they insisted they needed them. SHe had them with her so not a big deal. Everything went well and she now has her medical clearance.

Medical went off without a hitch! Fees are paid, DS-160 is complete, conformation for interview is in hand! Only thing left is interview on the 5th of December! I have my ticket to Kyiv purchased and will be there for the interview! Good luck to everyone!

Medical is scheduled for this Friday the 18th and interview is scheduled Dec 5th!

Hmm, I contacted my embassy and they said they hadn't received my petition yet, even though it's been "ready" for six days now...
Was it not letting you schedule and interview? I though that was the whole purpose of showing the case ready? My fiancee will complete her DS-160 tomorrow and try to schedule her interview. She was able to pay her fees already.
-
Thanks for the replies! She will pay the fees and do the DS-160 this weekend and schedule the interview on monday
AS for the vaccinations, we can get them here for free with my insurance so it is not an issue. Just don't want her to get a bunch of shots she didn't need.

Hello!
Our case is now listed as ready according to the CEAC website. The instructions are murky at best on the Kyiv embassy website and information on this page contradicts the embassy website quite often. My questions are as follows:
Once case status says ready the interview can be scheduled? Do the fees and DS-160 need to be completed first? I have not received an email yet, but I also haven't received an email at any step of the process so far even though I submitted the form for electronic communication and listed my email on the I-129f.
My fiancee has scheduled her medical and they absolutely insist that she has to have all vaccinations current. The website specifically says that K-1 visa applicants are not required to be vaccinated. She is having trouble finding these records and might not be able to find them in time.
Thanks for any help!

Anyone else showing 2 case numbers when they search their case at the CEAC website?

Our case is at the embassy! Almost done! Hang in there everyone!

Honestly I can't say. I doubt he could ban Muslims. American was formed on religious freedom. I do see more stringent background checks coming and maybe limiting immigration to people that have skilled trades or needed skills.
-
I hate to say it, but I think there will end up being some significant immigration reform. Not only did Trump win the Presidency, but there is now a Republican controlled House, Senate, and Executive Branch. American sentiment towards Muslims is not terribly good right now. I think a big reason Trump won, was the pandering to the hysterical masses.

My fiancee scheduled her appointment today, the first opening they had was the 18th of November.

i wanted to ask tax return wise , tax return 2016 will not be required till april correct , so any person having a interview before April should be sufficient with a 2015 tax return , am i right about this? so then ppl interviewing in april and after will haveto obtain the 2016 tax return
I am taking a 2015 Tax return, last 6 pay statements, and a letter from my employer stating I have full time employment and what my base salary is. I think that is plenty to prove income. I'll post how it goes in December.

Our case is now on the way to the consulate in Kyiv. My fiancee was able to schedule her medical, and once we get confirmation from the consulate we will schedule her interview for first week of December when I travel to Ukraine next.
Good luck to everyone! I have my fingers crossed that the NVC speeds things up for yall!

Same here, the operator gave me the invoice ID and said I would need it.
Just curious, was your operator's name Arya (or something like that)?
Didn't give her name. Sounded like an older lady that had been smoking for a long time
-
I have case number in hand Operator also gave me invoice ID number. Might want to ask for it if they don't volunteer to give it to you. She told me I would need it.
-
So after being told my case was received on the 28th, I called this week asking for the case number. My case was actually received today. I verified they had the correct receipt number this time...Now NVC has confirmed my case has been scanned in to the system and can now take up to 2 weeks to get a case number. So back to waiting.
-
Just got off the phone with the NVC. Operator said my case had been received but not processed. So I should have my case number next week!
Day 132 of EAD receive date and no approval. Is this normal?

I feel your frustration. Shouldn't take 80 days, let alone 130.
Calling the USCIS has been absolutely worthless. We had an RFE on our first attempt and called in because the RFE said we need to include documentation that was included in the package. They had no idea why it was sent back, and keep nothing on file for RFE's.....
