    It's family-based, my wife filed for me and she's a U.S. citizen. I have reached out to a U.S. Senator, but haven't heard back in 6 weeks. I filed an expedited request for the second time 2 weeks ago, they haven't asked for any evidence. I'm willing to wait if the G-28 might do something. Thanks for your input

    My PD is October 21, 2022. I haven't gotten my work permit since then, a family friend recommended I get a lawyer. At this stage, will getting a lawyer make any difference, apart from filing the WOM? Also, the lawyer wants to charge $600 for sending the G-28 form to USCIS. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

    I just got an RFE for the Affidavit of support. I'm really confused because I sent my sponsors 1040(2021). My sponsor has a wife and child (6years). Does his wife need to fill out a 1-864A form? Also, I tried to update my address few months ago. I filled the AR11 online and it got rejected. Can I update my online profile or send proof with the RFE? What documents do I need to get from my sponsor? Thanks for taking your time to respond

    This process for sure isn’t for the weak. I’ve seen some cases where the AOS was submitted this year and they’ve their work permit. I expedited my work permit and they haven’t acknowledged the docs I faxed. I changed my address over a month ago, I haven’t gotten a letter. Just wanted to share my thoughts to keep my sanity

    Yes they asked. I told the guard I haven’t paid for my flight because I wanted to be sure about my biometrics. She spoke to the ASC manager and they let me in.

    I had my biometrics on Wednesday since it was originally scheduled for the 25th. I told the security guard I made travel plans prior and they let me walk in. I got 3 emails next morning just like you. Will see what happens next 🤞🏾

    Hey guys, I got an update yesterday about my bio appointment and I got a letter with the Online Access Code. I tried to enter it to my USCIS account and it says case cannot be found. Anyone ever had this issue?

    Congrats! You’ll receive a letter in the mail that includes the ASC and date/time of your biometrics. If you’ve setup your online USCIS account, that info will be there. What city do you live and when did you submit your application? I filed Oct 21 and I’m waiting for my bio appointment.

    Yeah the I-864 is a tricky one. I feel like I might get RFE too just because I had a joint sponsor. I got my receipts in the mail yesterday. Hopefully I get my biometric appointment soon.

    Hi everyone, 10/20 - Filed I130 online 10/20- AOS application sent to Phoenix lockbox via UPS 10/21 - Application received 10/27 - Money order cashed 10/27 - Received texts with 3 receipt notices Now waiting on the biometrics. Will the A number come with the receipt in the mail?
