After the interview was cancelled, they scheduled new interview date. I have attended as scheduled. I was waiting in the lobby and the IO came out and told me that everything looks good and no need for any further info or interview and told me that he approved the case. After that I received my oath ceremony date and I am a citizen now.

Thanks for the fast reply. And congratulations on your citizenship!

I tried to get it here: https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/#/home - but it says they have no record of me. Probably because this was over 20 years ago before they even had computers haha I guess I'll bring the copy in case they ask for it.

I'm having problems to retrieve my travel history on the website as well even though the last time I left the country (and entered back) was right before the pandemic started. I consulted the cpb website using all the passports numbers that I have (valid and expired ones), and got the "no record could be found" for all of them.

I need to find the specific dates to add to my citizenship application. I work for a company with an office in Europe so I have been constantly traveling there in the last 3 years. And since I have an EU passport as well, I did not get my passport stamped upon entrance.

  3. My SS card has the DHS restriction on it, even though I asked a new card when I did my green card application, but they never mailed a new one. I called them and they told me that the restriction is lifted on their system so I would be okay. Since I'm not an US citizen, I can't apply for a replacement card online and all the offices are closed. I called them and I was given the option to mail the old card, and a valid passport (no photocopies allowed), and a valid green card, which I don't have since I'm waiting to remove my conditions since June last year.

Now I'm applying for a new job, and my green card is expired and my ROC extension letter is about to expire as well. What should I do?

    Hey guys,

Out of curiosity want to know if anyone waiting for i-751 interview from Indianapolis field office. My case has been moved to Indianapolis 3 months back for an interview and never heard back from them. Please let me know if someone is waiting for an interview date.

    Thank you!

I am waiting for an interview in Indianapolis as well. Since September my status has changed to "ready to schedule an interview".

  5. Just to report my experience coming back to the USA with an expired GC and the extension letter. The POE was Miami, and although the officer was not very familiar with the extension letter as he asked if I had received my NOA1, which is the extension letter lol. I showed him that I waiting for my ROC interview to be scheduled and showed him the status of my process in the visa tracker app. He then asked me if I never had an interview. I imagine that he is new on the job, or maybe not very familiar with the ROC process. He then left with the extension letter on his hands to ask someone what to do. Then he came back, took my fingerprints and picture, asked me how long I was traveling and why, and if I had any food/meat/fruit with me in my luggage. That's it. It took longer than I was expecting, but no secondary screening. Btw it took almost 2 hours from the moment the plane arrived, to the moment I got my luggage. Although the CPB officers are always nice in Miami, the lines are usually very long.

Usually after around two months of biometrics appointment case become ready to be scheduled for an interview, but we don’t know abt uscis process for sure.

I just got a notification this morning that my case is ready to schedule an interview. Biometrics was done almost 80 days ago and my petition was submitted 4 months ago.

As a note my case status on both websites was never updated after Biometrics. It was showing "Case was received on ....". Today the old website shows the new status, but the new website still has the "Case was received...".

Nice to hear that others have faced similar issues. So you happened to already be in your home country? Unfortunately if she leaves the country we would be forfeiting the application. But I have been thinking the same that we should just let them make the decision based on evidence we provide them.

Yes, I was already in my home country. I came to the USA with a visitor visa, got married and returned home to apply for the CR1 visa.

I think few days won't be an issue, but I would apply for AP as others suggested just in case. Good luck!

  8. I had a similar experience, however I was applying for a CR1 visa and it was denied during interview because even though I had returned back to my home country more than 2 years before the interview, I took several trips to the US to visit my husband and abroad on vacation. The CO gave me the option to sit and wait until the 730 days were completed or to apply for a waiver. I chose the first option.

I did not have to show up for a interview again. When the 730 day period was completed, I sent my passport and a document from the federal police to show all the days that I entered and left my home country since I left the US after my studies. You should try to obtain similar document from your home country. Or if she only traveled to the USA, I would obtain her I-94 travel history online and attach the plane tickets as well.

I think 2 days won't be a problem. In my case I had way more than that. I would send all the evidence and let them make the decision before leaving the country and applying for another visa.
