My oath ceremony is in two weeks. I still have my 10 yr permanent residency card but I might have lost the conditional residency card. I understand that I need to surrender those during my oath ceremony. Is that ok or should I inform USCIS in advance that the conditional card has gone missing?

I finally am scheduled for my oath ceremony at the Memphis office in 3 weeks! Does anybody know if I can bring someone to watch me take my oath? Planning to bring my husband along. Thank you in advance!

Thank you so much! I hope so too.

Can anybody please share their experience having their interview at the Memphis office? I had my AOS interview there but it's been years. Can I bring a bag inside? Can my US citizen husband join me in the office? What are the steps in checking in for the interview? My interview is on Thursday, Oct 26 and I am nervous about it!

Do you have a pending I751?
No I don't. Been a permanent resident since late 2019. Thank you!!

Thank you. I followed your advice about not sending unnecessary docs. Thanks again for the tip!

File Date Online: August 28
Biometric Reuse Notice: August 28
Receipt Notice: August 28
Received 3 emails since then advising that an action was taken for my application but there has not been not update since Aug 28. I am pretty sure the field office assigned to my case would be the Memphis, TN office.Would I still receive a letter in the mail?
Already received an interview notice! Thank God!

You can see everything online.
I received by mail a notification that I filled and paid, the interview letter and the oath appointment letter.
Thank you!

Thank you!

I am supposed to receive one letter from the Benefits Center and one from the US Department of Treasury. How many mails in total would I receive for my N400 application? I am a little anxious because as per Informed Delivery yesterday, I was supposed to receive two mails and I didn't get any of them.
-
I applied my N400 last Aug 28. From what I understand, you're supposed to receive SMS for updates. I am not getting any SMS. How do I set this up?

Did you get two text messages and 2-3 emails? That's probably because you just applied for it
You'll be getting two letters in your regular mail very soon too. One is the payment receipt and the second one is that the case is pending etc.
I did not receive any SMS at all. How do I sign up for notifications? 😭

I have. The last update on all tabs indicated August 28 which was the date I submitted my application. I have received 3 email notifications since then but I see no changes.

Hello. I keep getting an email indicating that an action was taken on my case and to login to check it. But when I login in to my USCIS account, I don't see any update. Is this normal?
Many thanks.

I also applied under the 5 year rule even though I came on K-1 (3-year mark happened in the middle of COVID so I was in no rush for any interview). The only thing I uploaded was front and back of 10-year GC and marriage certificate, no need to include anything they don't ask for.
Thank you. Appreciate you.

My son was born in the US. In the question that asks the A-number for my child, should I just leave it unanswered or do I tick the box that said " I do not have an A-number for my child"?

I uploaded tax transcripts under the additional evidence section.
I will do that. Thank you. I appreciate you.

I would choose the first option- the 5 year rule. Less documentation is required under the 5 year rule.
Thank you. I changed it to the first criteria. It no longer required me to upload specific documents such as insurance policies, mortgage, etc. I was asked to provide evidence of name change and the birth certificate of my son, instead. I am also still being asked to upload additional evidence towards the end of the form (unspecific) or I can bring them to my interview. Should I just skip the "additional evidence" part?

Don't make filing more difficult than it is. I suggest filing online under the 5 year rule. You won't need some of the stuff you listed. Under the 5 year rule, you will not need ANY bona fide marriage proof....or even a cover letter. The online application will tell you what to upload. Bank account, Car insurance, and home insurance evidence is not needed.
I see. I would change then the eligibility criteria to the first one. I figured, I should choose the second one. Thank you for your advice.

As long as you have been present for at least half the time (30 months, 913 days, see here https://www.uscis.gov/policy-manual/volume-12-part-d-chapter-4#:~:text=Applicants for naturalization under INA,days) before filing the application.), which from what you say seems like you have been, you should be good to go. Keep in mind though that physical presence is not the only requirement.
Best of luck!
Thank you. I will bear that in mind. Have a good day!

It would seem as I assume you are applying based on the 5 year rule. Three weeks in July 23, and a couple of other cruises. Count up the days you were outside the US since becoming an LPR and if that number is less than 913 days you are fine from a physical presence standpoint.
Good Luck!
Thank you! I appreciate you.
