Then they maybe had it scanned in by the 13th and had to connect it to you case so maybe but also maybe not. It's really hard to say.
I wouldn't worry to much they will contact you if they need anything. You have not hidden anything as you did sent in the documents before you got approved.
Thank you! This gives me so much peace!

When did your package arrive at USCIS?
You sent it on the 10th which was a Saturday but do you know when it arrived?
It was delivered on 8/12/19

Hi! I have posted my updates in other threads and updated tracking spreadsheet for references, but wanted ask about a concern a fellow VJer has posted.
Here's my timeline posted:
Timeline - Nebraska Filing Center
10/25/2018: I-751 Filed Jointly
12/06/2018: NOA 18-month Extension Letter
07/01/2019: Bio Appointment
07/23/2019: Divorce Finalized
08/10/2019: Package sent to switch to Divorce Waiver
8/20/2019: CARD PRODUCTION status update
Here's what a fellow VJ has commented:

And if that is the case, you will be getting into trouble in the future with N-400. But I hope they already "process" your waiver properly. Cheers!
I think it's a valid concern but I also hope they have already seen my waiver request. When I first submitted ROC, the package was delivered on 10/25/18 and check cleared on 10/30/2018, with 5 days in between. My case seemed to have been approved 10 days upon delivery. Do you think I'm safe here? If not, should I call USCIS for an inquiry?

Good point! I'll see if there's anyway I can talk to someone at USCIS and find out.. Thanks!

Did you have joint bank accounts or assets together for proof of marriage?
Yes. We had joint bank accounts (2), joint credit cards (2), joint mortgage, and joint deeds of a house. Hope this helps and best luck to you!

Wow I'm glad to hear divorced with no interview! I also filed divorce waiver and had hundreds of pages of evidences. Hope it'll go through smoothly for me too
As long as you have enough evidence, you should be good! Good luck!

Oh no! I totally missed the guidelines when sending in the package to switch to divorce waiver.. I had originals (because I don't need them anymore), and didn't note the application and the nature on the envelope..
Thank you @Pitaya (火龙果) for sharing the tips. Will be sure to comply in the future.

I have the same question.. Filed I-751 jointly in October 2018 and divorce finalized in July 2019. Sent a package in just this past Saturday and am curious if there will be a status update online.

Do you mean getting your divorce certificate certified?
I'd spend $54 and get two if I were you.
Yes. Thank you, I appreciate your reply. I guess that would be money worth spending!

I-751 Joint turning into divorce waiver.
I’m picking up the final documents tomorrow and am curious if I need to spend $27 to get it certified.
Thanks!

My status changed from "fingerprint review was completed" back to "fingerprint fee was received", LOL...

Hmm reading all this post about the waiver it gets kinda scary. My divorce was jointly filed and filed it in Nevada , I’m hoping to get my final decree before I go to my joint petition interview and I’ll just try to amend it to a divorce waiver under good faith right on the spot.
I'm assuming you meant your I-751 (not divorce) was jointly filed?
15 hours ago, zzBh13 said:Is that possible?
Yes it is.
15 hours ago, zzBh13 said:Bec by the time I get my final decree is probably only two or three days left before my interview. And the only additional evidence I have are the text messages between me and my husband that I was able to retrieved and photos of his new girl that he’s dating already so at this point there’s really no reconciliation anymore.
If that's the only additional evidence you have, it is what it is What did you submit originally?
15 hours ago, zzBh13 said:Idk how they base good faith, but we entered in good faith and ended it in good faith. For 4 years that we’ve been married and struggled fixing the marriage, we came to an end and right before the interview too
Financial co-mingling is the biggest thing. Shared residency, co-mingled medical/insurance, etc are pretty important too.
15 hours ago, zzBh13 said:So my question is can I amend my joint petition to a divorce waiver when I get to my interview? Do I just tell them or do I need to print some forms for it? If even my final decree comes earlier like a week before I highly doubt they’ll receive it on time before the interview and I just thought maybe then I can get a result whether it’s approval or denial. The whole process is just excruciating on top of struggling to save my marriage before.
I believe you can by telling me in your interview.

Not necessarily. I filed in October 2018 and my case number actually starts with LIN1990.

Already deactivated my FB account because it wastes too much of my time. Given a bunch of interactions there with my husband that could potentially serve as evidence for a bona fide marriage, should I reactivate it so USCIS people can check it? Honestly, I never thought about the role of social media in proving a marriage. Anyway, I feel USCIS' definition of marriage still stays in 1960s, they probably won't care about social media.
Hi! My now understanding is that social media's influence is so low that it practicality doesn't' matter. I would say you should reactivate it only if *you* want to, regardless of immigration concerns :)

Yes I do have 18 months extension letter. The problem is, should I file entire new i751 with new fees, and all the evidences again or should i just file the waiver. I am confused because my case is withdrawn it means it has been closed i think. So Idk what will my next step be. The tier 2 officer told me to hire a lawyer 😐
I would wait to see what the withdrawn notice says. Many lawyers have free consultations, maybe it doesn't hurt to try those before you decide to go with a lawyer or not.

Hello everyone, I know this group is silent from a while. But I really need help here. I filed joint petition and we got separated. I filed for divorce and I dont have divorce decree in my hand yet. Today I got a notification that my soon to be ex husband withdrew my petition. I called uscis and tier 2 officer spoke with me. He says someone wrote a letter to uscis(husband) telling to withdraw the form. Now my online account tells my case has been withdrawn and to wait until i receive my withdrawn acknowledgement notice. Is there someone like me? what will happen to my case now. I will receive my final decree in two weeks. I was thinking to sent the decree and to change into waiver once i receive the final decree. What can I do now. Please help.
Did you have NOA that extends your status for 18 months?
I am guessing the withdrawn acknowledgement notice would tell you what the next steps are, hopefully it will arrive soon! Either way I think you should be able to file a new application with a divorce waiver, regardless if you have the decree or not, and send the decree when you have it. It takes a while for USCIS to process the application and by the time they touch yours, hopefully you will have the decree in hand when they send you an RFE.
I'm so sorry for your situation. I filed jointly and am not in the middle of a divorce too. It's a terrible thing to go through itself, let alone on top of the immigration drama. I wish you best luck, hang in there!
