Congrats to you too!!
That is such an amazing news
I hope your letter comes soon...
Isn't it amazing how little things, like a simple letter gets us excited, especially for people we don't even know but with whom we share our adventure!
Have a great day 😀
I just got it!! December 18 🙂

....and I finally got my “last” USCIS mail today! My N445 Notice of Naturalization Oath Ceremony with a date and time... My Oath Ceremony is scheduled for December 2nd, exactly one month after my combo interview.
I can’t explain feelings I had when opening that last mail. I knew what was inside but i was overwhelmed with emotions. Is it really over? I don’t have to wait anymore, interview anymore, stress anymore?!
my hubby is super sad because he is unable to share that moment with me...due to corona no one is allowed in and we are unable to share that once in a lifetime moment with our loved ones...My amazing immigration warriors - hope to see you all at the finish line 🏁 soon!!!
fingers crossed and good luck!!!That's amazing! Congratulations! - I am waiting for my Naturalization Oath Ceremony letter too 🙂

Well, you all were right! - I didn't have any trouble bringing my husband with me to USCIS. We had a combo interview - she barely asked anything, we submitted A LOT of evidence and our case was very organized- and then I had my N400 interview with my husband in the room too.
Everything was very smooth and approved! - now just waiting for the new GC (stupid bc I will have to give it back) and oath ceremony letter anytime soon.
Thanks y'all!

Be prepared for a combo interview. Bring all evidence, documents etc for both petitions with you. Bring your spouse with you and if security will not let him in, have him stand-by in the area (make sure his phone is on and working).
The combo interview is rarely officially scheduled and appears to be more based on local office procedures.
Without the I-751 being closed out and approved they cannot approve the N400. They can do the interview and the test but not the actual approval.
Again be prepared for a combo, but don't be too disappointed if they want you to come back for a I-751 interview.
Thank you! Yes, indeed I am actually bringing both cases and all evidence with me, just in case we end up having a combo interview 🙂

Combo interview was never mentioned in the interview letter, it is general. They are aware of these interviews so you are okay, you can also tell your spouse to stand by outside, if they need him, they will let you call him in.
Yeah... I guess that's probably what I'll do. Fingers crossed! Thank you 🙂

It will be a combo interview, no spouse they will reschedule you.
But how do I justify that my husband has to come with me inside the USCIS building without any proof? Meaning, I don't have any paper that says "this will be a combo interview therefore, bring your spouse to the building with you."

Hello everyone!
Next month (Nov. 12) I have my N400 citizenship interview (based on marriage) however, I still have my I-751 case pending. I applied to I-751 in Feb. 2019 and the last update I got was on June 2020 "we transferred your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number WAC-xyz , to another USCIS office. That office now has jurisdiction over your case." and hasn't moved since.
Today I was using the live chat feature on the USCIS page and asked if perhaps I was having a combo interview on Nov. 12. The response I got was basically nothing... "Refer to your last notice" and they say that I can do the interview for citizenship, but even if I pass it, they won't make a decision until the I-751 is approved. It's like moving forward to take a step back to move forward again.
I am prepared to have a combo interview, just in case, and my husband will be driving me to USCIS. However, with COVID, he can't come with me inside the building, so I am just a little worried in case I have a combo interview and the officer ask me about my husband to be present. Will I be able to call him to come in? I feel I am in a limbo here. Is anyone else in the same situation?
Thank you!

when is your 18 month extension up? I'm actually concerned because I wonder if they haven't approved it before the extension is up, we will be out of status!! what happens then?
My extension expires in November. I talked to a USCIS agent and they told me that you can get in touch with them for another extension 30 days prior you expiration day... but you know, I take that with a grain a salt.

My case has been stuck at "case has been updated to show that fingerprints were taken" since November 2019....there's been no updates. I'm honestly starting to wonder what's going on - I think my 18 month extension is up at the end of the year and I am not feeling like they will get to my case before then!! Fingers crossed though.
I wasn't feeling any particular urgency to go ahead and file n-400 but I'm thinking that maybe I should so that SOMETHING can get moving? Any thoughts on this? Thanks guys!
Mine has been the same "case has been updated to show that fingerprints were taken" since May, 2019 and nothing has moved since. - I applied for n-400 though, at least to have something moving

WAC here too. No updates yet. Have yet to hear anything about a biometrics appointment. Looks like we'll all be the slow ones haha. I'm not expecting to hear anything back until next year to be honest.
Feeling very jealous of the non-WAC filers who are starting to hear things back
We filed in February, had the bio appointment in May... last update from May 5 was "Fingerprint Review Was Completed" but haven't heard anything since then

wow finally received my bio letter on 4/20. The appointment is May 2nd!! (WAC)

Hi guys I have a question, received txt notification last Saturday that my case was received 2/15/19, mail notification to follow, is the NOA that will be mailed- is that the 18 month extension? Or does the extension come after NOA letter?
Yes, they will mail you the NOA with the 18 month extension. At least that's what I've received after the text notification.

Here we go again! now for Removing of Conditions. February 5 was my opening day so I literally send my package that day, they've received it at the Phoenix, AZ office the 6th and send the NOA the 8th, with a conditional status extended for 18 months. Can't believe how fast it was!

Ahhh good to know! thank you, it's a relief that we don't have to do anything else for at least two year!! :-)

Finally, I can breathe! I have my Green Card after 1 year and 1 month!
The story was quite "funny", my EAD/AP will expire at the end of June (as I explained in another post), and my AOS was pending since April 2016 -on USCIS site only showed Fingerprint was received- so my husband and I decided to apply for a EAD/AP card renewal. We were again at USCIS office for biometrics appointment on May 4. All fine.
On May 6 I checked my AOS status again, as almost everyday since one year ago and I saw the miracle "My case was approved" and by May 9 "Card was mailed", and last Friday May 12 my GC was already on my hands!! I could not believed it, everything in a week. So happy right now and impressed how fast it was since the case was approved, even if it took a year, and we did not have an interview or anything.
Although I wonder what is gonna happen now with those biometrics I took for the EAD/AP renewal. I know with the GC is all set but, should I call to let them know? I am a little lost here.
Now just waiting to apply to remove conditions in 2019! :-)Yay!!!

Hi all again,
I am still in the same situation, my AOS is pending since April 2016 and I have to go later this week for another biometric appointment for my EAD/AP renewal.
This is what I have received from USICS on March:
Due to workload factors not related to your case, USCIS anticipates a delay in completing your case. USCIS is committed to adjudicating immigration benefits in the order received and in a timely and efficient manner. We regret any inconvenience that results from delays in processing.
I've also contacted the Congressman for my district, but nothing so far... I don't know what to do, I am so so so frustrated... hope this waiting process is over sooner rather than later...

They give wrong information ?

You can renew EAD 120 days before it expires.
Yes, that is what I thought and what I read. I specifically asked the guy who was attending us, but he said within 90 days before it expires.

So I have some updates. We went to USCIS in Boston today to have more information regarding our AOS, since we applied almost 1 year ago.
Apparently they finished my background check at the end of December 2016, and I am not schedule for an interview yet, or it could be that we won’t even have an interview. This is what they told us, although they also suggest applying for an EAD/AP renewal because at the end of this month I will be in those 90 days I can apply before my card expires.
At least it's a little relief to know that my AOS is moving, slowly but surely. Hopefully more good news will come soon!

Well I actually saw it online first - but still seeing the physical letter and opening it was such an emotional moment. I can't believe it's finally happening! 🙂
