Has anyone heard anything about Family based categories? It's so discouraging. Husband interview got cancelled March 2020 and still nothing!

Waiting for interview,documents qualified on June 9th,2020.Permanent resident filed for spouse in 2017

My husband interview got canceled  two days before the interview date, but I  guess its still gonna be a long wait since Im not a citizen 😪

PD October 27 2017.......I-130 approved On August 9, 2019, Finally. Now its another long wait to get the welcome from NVC, But I am happy its on its way

Khadija, looks like they will finish review your case in August, I agree with jamaicankim, that you can start calling at the end of July and don't send them anything, unless they will send oficial Cheklist, but you are done with this part It's just unbelievable how they are messing up with your case.

You will safee flight. Btw guys go to the social security office and apply when i went with the kids the agent told me that it will take 10 days after poe before they start processing and then a week to get it in mail. Since we were already in the country a few days it took little over a week to get in mail. Because i already had a ssnumber mine took a few days they just reprinted a card.

Hey, just don't forget your passport, keep being positive and you'll be fine 
If serious, then tell the truth, don't talk too much, just answer the questions you'll be asked in short and don't forget to bring all required docs with 2 recent photos.

I had updated I-864 and tax returns for 2016, but at interview, they didn't ask for it. Guys who just had their interview also didn't have to provide, but it all depends on the consul. It won't hurt, if your family would email you their 2016 taxes and you would have it just in case they would ask.

I arrived in the USA yesterday the process was very easy and quick maybe 10 mins tops.  I just went to the officer at the counter, he took the envelope and gave me back the x-ray cds.  Did a four finger fingerprint with one hand, looked in the camera and he stamped the passports. My child under 17 didn't do anything he just stamped her passport.
So my next update about the ss card and green card will be next. Congrats to you all who did you interviews and good luck to the others
