First, thanks for all the replies.
Second, yeah I made a mistake...the early replies made me laugh... a little!
Third, I am fairly certain she's applying for a corrections officer for one of the private jail/prisons around here.

So I came here to post about our trip last week to San Diego.
We went to this sales pitch and got a free trip so we took it!
you can view pics on our myspace page here
Anyway,
Marc out....for now

Maybe they checked the IP and found it to be Canadian?
Just a guess, but I would be more curious why a trip to Canada was so important to them, maybe you were visiting your sick mother...how do they know? How do they know you were laid off before your already planned and paid for trip and you decided that being laid off wasn't going to stop your planned fun?
This would bother me...
As for passport info, I do not know.

If he tries to book a flight to Austro-Hungaria or Dalmatia he'll be in for a shock.
Or tries to send a package to Abyssinia.
Reminds me of the episode of The Simpsons where Mr. Burns was trying to send a letter to Kaiser Wilhem via Siam or something.
by Gyrocopter.

It's getting off the chart great reviews.
Yep. It's just that some of the Right Wing media outlets are griping about the social commentary of the movie. All of sudden, they've become the PC crowd. Amazing, isn't it?
I think some of it is the scene where the BnL boss said "Stay the Course" behind the podeum that looked strangely like the one for the President of the United States of America
Olga and I both liked the movie alot! yes it was dark but the ending was quite a happy ending with the people returning to Earth!
Of course the love story was too cute....
EEV-Ah!

Even worse, imagine the shock you'd have if you were on that ride when it happened!
The story Kathryn posted said that the 911 system was "flooded" after the incident so it would seem MANY people witnessed it, not just people ON the ride....one guy they quoted was waiting to get on it!.

now the family will probably sue the park over this, like it's their fault that he was stupid
Doubt they can, it was posted "Do not enter"

About time. The jobs need to be there for Americans and the people here legally. Especially at a time like this when Americans are losing jobs left right and center.
So I take it that you're volunteering to go spend 12 hours a day in 120° weather with no shade, picking chiles in southern New Mexico and Texas? For $7.50 an hour?
Having read this whole thread I felt compelled to reply to you:
Yes I freeking would except it would have to be in Tucson cause at $7.50/hour I couldn't afford to move... IF I needed a job and it was available, I would take it to ensure my bills are paid!
that is assuming I lost my $60k/year (average) job and couldn't find another job doing what I am currently doing...or I didn't already have a back-up plan.
I worked for McDonald's (at minimum wage) for 10 years because it paid the bills...that's a job I hope never to have to go back to but it is always an option

I use to work at AM/PM back in the 90's, back when many places accepted checks.
While there I took a check (and checked her ID)...
Her name?

I agree with mnieto. The only time I've ever gotten a free bottle of water from amtrak was when the train was stuck on the tracks for three hours. If you can afford to fly, you can pay for a bottle of water or to check a bag. And 2-3 hours is so short, I don't see why one would even really NEED food or beverages, barring medical issues. Otherwise I don't see why an airline should provide it for free on a shorthaul flight.
Short flights would probably be ok, but one thing I learned flying Korean Air to Russia was that the air on airplanes can dehydrate a person...they insisted on everyone drinking water or juice because of that! I picked Pineapple...YUMMY! but from LA to Seoul was a 14 hour flight! Seoul to Vladivostok was a much shorter flight! LOL

If you're completely new to Linux, try MEPIS or Ubuntu.
MEPIS allows you to run it from a CD or DVD first to see if you like it before installing it.
Unbuntu does too, I used it for awhile but was never happy with WoW in Linux so I'm back on my copy of XP

Wow in 1969 he sort of predicted the challenge to the pledge of allegiance!
In 2004, linguist Geoffrey Nunberg criticized the addition of "under God" for a different reason. The original supporters of the addition thought that they were simply quoting Lincoln's Gettysburg Address. However, Nunberg said that to Lincoln and his contemporaries, "under God" meant "God willing" and they would have found its use in the Pledge of Allegiance grammatically incorrect.imho it never felt right where it is, why don't we just remove it/reverse the addition, anyone know?

the need to secure a reliable supply of oil from the Middle East explains, in large part, the presence of U.S. troops in Iraq.
any ideas on why we aren't being more diligent about Iraq?
I have some ideas

I am a little surprised...I like Ron Paul, his position on the top 2 things to me are on par with him!
However he came up at 57.14% tied with Huckabee and Gravel!
Number 1 with a 71.81% match: Obama
Hil was second at 71.43%
McCain was next to last at a 38.10%
and the Mormon was a 34.52% match.
I would still take Paul over Obama
