It may not be appropriate to post these thoughts here, but I would like to share with you that being a part of this wonderful community over the past weeks has truly been a blessing. The timelines, statistics, questions, answers, advice, compassion, and support found here have all been tremendously helpful, encouraging, and inspirational. I can't imagine making this journey without VJ and you. Thank you all so much for caring and sharing and helping to make this crazy visa process easier to understand and navigate. I learn something new here every day, and I'm so grateful.
Some days the waiting and hoping drives me crazy and seems intolerable. But I always find comfort here knowing that I'm not alone. Thank you and best regards,

My fiance is still gathering his documents, so technically we aren't ready yet to respond to Packet 3 even if the Embassy had received the case already. But he'll have everything ready next week, so I'm hopeful that the Embassy will receive our case and send out Packet 3 in the next few days. He has his birth certificate and his single certificate and needs to get those translated from Thai to English. He is to get his Police Clearance Certificate on Monday or Tuesday. The fact that the case isn't at the Embassy yet isn't really holding us up...it's just annoying that it is taking so long and of course that creates anxiety. I hate worrying that our case has been misdirected or perhaps lost. 10 days now waiting for it to arrive. But waiting appears to be the name of the game!
We have not paid the visa fee yet.

I'm firmly convinced this entire process is rigged with boobie traps to keep us confused and our anxiety levels high! Nothing is straight forward...

Just called NVC...case was received today! waiting now for the the case number to be assigned.

So happy to share that our fiance visa application was approved on 29 JUNE...70 days! Hoping the next part of the process is smooth and successful! Good luck everyone...
