Can someone be a joint sponsor on the AOS  if they owe money to IRS for taxes? I’ve tried searching can’t find the right answer, thanks

Hello, I am wondering if there will be a problem with consulate if I file head of Household for my 2018 taxes. I am married but qualify to file head of Household. We are awaiting for interview date in Cd. Juarez , will be past April 15.

The nvc rep I spoke to (the second time) said that as long as they get it before it expires is fine. Also Id sent a copy and keep original to take to interview. 

When I talked to NVC earlier this week he said people in April are still waiting for interview in Juarez 😩 for spouse visa

Acording to him, it will be expired by the time the case is complete 🙄 but that makes no sense since they have it now and is still good for another 2 months. I said if we dont know when the case is complete wouldnt the next one we send be expired too!? Well, he hung up on me after telling him if there was someone else i can talk to and that he was rude, he said if u want to speak to someone else call again and hung up! I will be calling again later and see what another agent says about it because the police certificate is NOT expired. 

I received an email today about my packet and about needing to send another police report because it ia expired even though it has 3 months till and He got it aug 30! I called them to explain and was encountered with a rude representative and then he hung up on me after I asked to speak to someone else!

Only one was available at first, I just received an email with the IV invoice that its ready to pay. Mexico is not pivot is it? It doesn’t really tell me how to send my packed but I am guessing through mail

I think its been like a week or two and I still can’t pay the IV fee 🤔 AOS fee shows paid 

Anyone know how long after first fee AOS can IV fee be paid?

Just did DS-261 and the option to pay fines is available but it says on paper to wait 3 weeks beofre continuing 🤔 anyone know if you can pay the fines already? Edit: I think AOS can be paid.

No, says to choose an agent first then allow up to 3 weeks to move to step 2) pay fees

Received email today with welcome letter and NVC numbers. 

June 21st got send to DOS , got email alert for it. Says to wait 6 weeks. On my NOA2 said beneficiary couldnt adjust in USA (hes out of the country but in NOA2 they state he was here even though appliction states hes not) I called NVC to correct issue they said I had to call USCIS, called them and they said it was an error on their part 🙄 so they sent a note to NVC and finally got notice that they sent my package to NVC.

So, I recieved NOA2 in the mail already but it says that beneficiary is in the United States when he is not, and it said so on my application 🙄 not sure if I should call on Monday or wait the 30 days as stated
