  1. There is no specific form you file; as mentioned, you simply submit as much documentary proof as you can, with a cover letter.

Please fill in your timeline- where are you in the process? Ror example for USCIS, you usually call them, and they will give you a fax number to fax your docs to.

    Good to know. Thanks!

  2. How? The documents gathered are up to you. You need to submit evidence to back up your expedite request.

If medical, Doctors notes, letter, Financial show the financial hardship, Deployment show the order of deployment, etc.

I think she meant, What application/form is submitted to file for an expedite?

I've never done or know anyone that's done one. Idk

  3. I sent mine on May 6th

    Received May 10th

    Email text alert may 25th

Hard copy June 1st because of Memorial Day.

I don't know what my notice date is in not home so I can't even check. I should get my noa2 before I get home. I don't know what took them so long to send me my noa1 or cash my check. It could be because I had to send extra papers that most people don't for personal reasons. =) good luck though!!

Well, I wish us all a speedy approval.

  4. Hi everyone! We received our NOA2 July 12☺. We still haven't received our hard copy of the NOA1, but guess it doesn't really matter. Hopefully we will get the hardcopy of the NOA2 soon☺ we are so happy. Anyone know what steps are next and how long about till we can enter the US? Thanks guys and congrats to others and good luck to the rest. Much love❤

I am soooo happy for you. I know you were stressing, but see it all worked out.

    Congratulations! !!!!!!!

  5. I worked part time for about a quarter of the year in 2015 and as a result, I fell short of the 125% poverty level by about $850. If I understand correctly, I can use assets to cover the difference. Would money I have in the bank work for this? If it matters, this is for a fiance residing in Mexico. Thanks in advance!

    Poverty guidelines:

    100% for K-1

    125% for adjustment of status.

  6. Hi everyone, so finally got to request a resend for the documents that were returned to USCIS. We sent our petition end of April, and received an sms and email beginning may that they received it. I'm guessing the document that was returned was the hard copy receipt. Does anyone know if this will slow down our process? Thanks guys ☺

    Hey Natalie

No it will not. Wishing us all a speedy approval!

  7. If you look at their posted current processing times, it says they're getting NOA2s out within 5 months (and that is also their way of not needing to help anyone until they've hit 5 months). You'll see here that people who applied in late March/early April are getting their NOA2s right about now. You've got to look at the most current batch of approvals to most accurately gauge how long things are taking. So you're well within posted processing time and well within the time we know here to be the "actual" processing time. Sit back, wait, and remember that K1 is an overall very quick process and for that, you're lucky.

Edited to add (I saw your other post about your timeline). You go by your NOA1 date, not your filing date. Your NOA1 date is May 3. I wouldn't expect a reply until early to mid August. You'll be unable to get past the misinformation line (the USCIS contact line) until October 3 (and, actually, because of the timetable USCIS uses to post that timeline chart, in actuality they won't "let" you past the misinformation line until November 14) you will almost certainly hear well before then, and I wouldn't be overly surprised if you already had visa in hand by then.

You are clearly misinformed, May petitions have already started to get approved. They're up to May 4th already!.

    Got NOA2 today hurrah!

    Congratulations!!!!!
