Single Status Update
I had a question you could perhaps help me with. According to the ceac.state.gov website our case is "ready". But my fiance has not received packet 3 yet from the embassy in Cairo, no phone call or mail sent to his home address. They don't have his email since that was not provided nor asked for in the I-129 k-1 Visa application. I am starting to get nervous because the I-129 petition is only valid for 4 months and is due to expire at the end of October. I do not want it to expire and have to start the entire process all over again. Help! any advise. I noticed the gap in your timeline until you received packet 3.
ive had experienced the same thing with them then I called the call center in Egypt and they gave me that email CairoIV@state.gov
So send and email " case activation case# " and they will respond to you with the required documents.
P.s it takes time to respond they get back to me after two weeks
