It's horrible. How will they (or anyone who's barred from the US) support themselves...The U.S is their home and they have every right to come back. This is disgusting.

We received the hardcopy of RFE and we really wondered what are the missing documents that they needed as what we thought confidently that we sent the package completely. The RFE is passport copy of my fiance, so we thought they lost it or miss looked in the package we sent. But its all okey, atleast our case is already moving. My fiance will going to reply on RFE tomorrow.. So i hope after that, it will not take long to approved lol hehee. We are just so really happy that the RFE was that easy to comply. He will be coming to my country this Sept. 6, to come with me on the interview as what our planned and estimated time but guess what... The whole time he's here will be a vacation for us.. Yohoooooo.. Since we cant have medical exam or interview yet. Hahahhaa... But its still great to do things with him though.... I really wish he could be with me in the interview.. Overall, this RFE is a GOOD NEWS for us!heheeh
To those who are waiting, just keep your faith and hopes high.It may takes a long time to wait , but its all gonna be worth it, especially this will all end up being together with our someone. Just hang on.

I think your petition is now at HCM Consulate. You can send them an email to ask whether they receive it or not.
NVC received your case on 6/30 and the last update was 7/7 which I assumed HCM received it before/ on 7/7/2014.
The status on ceac website should be " At NVC " and then changed to " In Transit" when they ship to HCM Consulate. The last update should be " Ready", which they receive it and stay at " Ready" for long time. The status will change to " Administrative Processing" right after interview. It might change again to " Ready" before " Issued".
From now on, if the Status Updated Date changes, it means they either send package to your fiancee or they receive the paperwork from her, or they review her file.

Congrats to everyone that has received their NOA 2... we are May 31st NOA 1 so hopefully, looking at the trends, it should be around 2 more weeks and we 'may' just hear something.

A work permit is called an EAD. You can apply for an EAD as soon as you enter BUT it will only be good until the 90 days from your arrival and since it takes 60-90 days to get the card it is pointless and you have to pay for it.
When you are married you'll have to apply for Adjustment of status (Your Green Card) when you apply for that you can apply for the EAD and AP (Advanced parole - card so you can leave and enter the country) when you apply for you AOS then the fee for the EAD + AP are waived.
So basically after you send AOS incl. EAD + AP it takes 60-90 days to get EAD + AP and then you can start working.
To you all. Remember to correct your timeslines so it says California since they are the only service center there does I-129F applications and that way Igor's list is correct and your estimates on your timeline will be more correct.

Not sure about Japan but I was able to get a blood test organised through my local Doctor to see what Immunisations I had already received and what possible one's I might be needing. My Doctor was then able to administer the immunisation I was not covered for. I then took a signed original copy to my medical which was accepted.
Much cheaper to have your own Doctor give the shots if any are needed then having them done at the medical.

What's HER nationality/citizenship? If she's eligible for a passport from a VWP country (http://www.esta.us/visa_waiver_countries.html), she's eligible to use ESTA. If not, she needs a tourist visa.

I don't know what others have done, but maybe attach a brief explanation of the dual citizenship. If he's been travelling on a passport from a country he's never lived in, that could be useful to clarify.
