    Hello again!

    PD: July 3, 2017.

Case status was changed to Interview Scheduled (10/31). Just got our notice this Monday morning (11/5) scheduled for December 5! Now wondering if we need to really bring an updated Medical!

I just had my interview last October 25 2018, updated medical exam was not asked. My medical expired already since March 2018.

It was stated on the instructions for i-693. Check if you don’t need it too.

I am K1 based so here’s what it says for K1. page 7/12 of i-693 instructions

What if I am a K nonimmigrant visa holder and already had a medical examination overseas?

If you were admitted as a:

    A. K-1 fiancé(e) or a K-2 child of a K-1 fiancé(e); or
    B. K-3 spouse of a U.S. citizen or a K-4 child of a K-3 spouse of a U.S. citizen; and
    C. You received a medical examination prior to admission, then:

    (1) You are not required to have another medical examination as long as you file your Form I-485 within one year of an overseas medical examination; and

    (a) The panel physician did not find a class A medical condition during your overseas examination; or

    (b) The panel physician did find a class A medical condition, you received a waiver of inadmissibility, and
you have complied with the terms and conditions of the waiver.

    (2) Even if a new medical examination is not required, you must still show proof that you complied with the vaccination requirements. If the vaccination record (DS 3025) was not properly completed and included as part of the original overseas medical examination report, you will have to have the Part 9. Vaccination Record completed by a designated civil surgeon. In this case, you must submit Parts 1., 2., 3., 4., 6., and 9. of Form I-693.

Congrats and good luck! My PD is July 12 2017 as well. I filed for renewal of EAD/AP last week, feeling hopeless with the San Francisco wait times at this point.

Let us know how it goes!

Thank you. I applied for EAD RENEWAL last August , until now I haven’t received anything except the I-797C.

So that means, I can still continue working because c9 category qualifies for automatic 180days extension since I applied for renewal before it expires? right?

Congrats! Now it’s time for you and every other person who has gotten their EAD to get a job so as to keep mind/soul and body busy till when it’s time for I-485 interview or approval. Good luck everyone. Now on my way home to see what has been delivered in my mail box

Yes! finally the crazy long wait has ended. I’m not gonna care for greencard for now , knowing St.Paul,MN works a ton of time for it. I’ll just let time pass by by keeping my self busy working and saving money.

    Congrats to you as well.☺️

I feel bad for the people who got RFE in late notice, just hold on. Nothing we can do but to wait patiently.

    Goodluck everyone.

  5. I made an inquiry just now.

    It says,

    Thank you for your request:
USCIS will review and process the request
    Expect a reply by October 17, 2017
Your request ID number is SR12xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

As of September 25, 2017, your inquiry about the status of your Employment Authorization application, referral number SR1xxxxxxxxxxxxxx, is currently not assigned for processing.

My wife's AOS interview is tomorrow...we are doing the final putting-together of evidence and both getting a little nervous! We will post here on how it went, what types of questions were asked, etc. See our timeline below - we can hardly believe the day is almost here! (For quick ref, mailed 6/30, NOA-1 7/5, Biometrics 8/3, Interview 9/25).

Wow that was so quick! Check congrats in advance.

I don't have a PD but my NOA1 was dated July 12, like yours. Are you gonna submit an inquiry too or no after Sept. 25th? That's the 75th day if I calculated it correctly.

Yes I will submit an inquiry on our 75th day ☺️

I wanna work soon. For now, I just keep my self busy having review for my future nursing licensure examination 😊

Congrats on another progress on your case. Mine still says fingerprint fee was received.

Is it true that we can send a case inquiry for EAD if we haven't heard anything after 75 days?

    Yes, it's on USCIS website.

Tip Sheet: Employment Authorization Applications Pending More than 75 Days

If your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization, has been pending more than 75 days, you may contact the National Customer Service Center (NCSC) at 1-800-375-5283 and ask that they create a service request. The NCSC will route the service request to the appropriate office for review. Please have your receipt number ready when contacting the NCSC.

I'll be following your progress!  I thought I saw that it was taking 90-120 days here for EAD and that AOS was taking a year...

I am a bit worried that my medical will expire in March before AOS and that I will have to do it again.

    No update for EAD yet,

I-485 Fingerprint fee was received until now.

Same here, my medical will expire on March, I'm hoping to have interview before my medical expires.

@Chelleyandaaron so glad to see you on here as well! We just saw the page with all of the area processing times and realized how long the wait is from St. Paul! We will be thinking of you as you start the process!

oh geeesss! I'm in St.Paul as well. Oh wow I checked it and St.Paul has the slowest processing times for like 356days 🤣.

I'm not gonna keep checking my case status for I485 but I'm wishing to have my EAD and AP within 110days

I have just spent a couple of hours reading the forty pages on here (to catch up with many November K1 filers) and because we got married on Saturday and I am about to file (I know I'll be a September filer - but you guys are SO helpful!).

It looks like it might be a LONG process here in Minnesota but I'll be keeping tabs on you all!

so glad to see @fishe23a is nearly at interview!

Hi! Yes, I think Minnesota have too much loads. But its alright, if il have my EAD within three months il be good, i just wanna work , make money and save alot.

They can schedule me for interview anytime they want 🤣 even it will take a year I don't mind long as I will be able to work soon

    Hey everyone!

Green Card Received & in hand!!!

It arrived today via USPS! Finally things will get a little easier for us from now on. Its been a long wait since I129F, although not as long like most people here who haven't received any news yet. But things will get processed soon everyone, just be a little more patient.

    Good luck friends! 😊

    OMG ! Congrats a bunch 😍

We checked our USCIS case status just now and our status had been changed to "Interview Scheduled" for September 25th, 2017. We were absolutely not expecting this so soon! Has anyone else had this? Is that normal or suspicious?? (For reference, our NOA-1 was 6th July, we have not had any EAD/AP notices or status changes, and our status only changed to "Ready for Interview" on 15th August!)

OMG! Congrats! You're almost there! 😀. I wish ours together with July filers will be quick as yours 😀 My status still "Fingerprint fee was received". My NOA1 is July 12. May I know which are you from?

    Hey guys!

Our I-485 Application to adjust status was APPROVED today at the INTERVIEW!!!!

    Field Office: Yakima WA USCIS

    Interview date: 08/15/2017

    Interview approved: 08/15/2017

It was really simple, nothing too complicated or to worry about really...I'm the petitioner, and I wasn't asked any questions at all which was weird. I was so prepared, I took every document listed on the interview NOA letter and more. I even took with me plenty of relationship evidence and even my marriage license. I wasnt asked for any of that nor did IO bothered to ask to see it. He only asked my husbands passport and my ID. IO asked my husband questions about the I-485 application previously submitted to make sure no important fact was left out. IO asked security clearance questions instead of relationship questions or dates.

    "Have you ever been arrested?"

"Have been involved in a gang, mafia, or been part of human trafficking?"

" Did you ever forced onto someon sexually?"

"Are you or been involved in the Military?"

"Have you had any conflict with any IO in the USA?

"Are you involved in espionage against the USA?

    " Have you operated firearms?"

    "Do you have children?"

Since my husband doesn't speak English and IO called an official approved interpreter to interpret for him. IO didn't want me to interpret the security clearance questions for obvious reasons. After that section of questions, I was able to interpret the rest of his questions to my husband. Then finally the moment of truth, he said everything submitted was properly completed and approved, that he would also approve our I-485 for his conditional green card. IO shook our hands and told us he would get his GC in less than 10 days, that my husband can start looking for a job and apply for his social security. I was like, oh officer, we have his SSN long time ago! He just laughed and said goodluck to both of us! Yayy!!! Then he said, oh yeah let me see your wedding pictures...(after he had already approved us) IO looked at a few and didnt even see all of them. He said that way I can noted it that I at least looked at them lol. Wierdo.

The moment I walked out the office and was getting in the car, I received a USCIS email and Text notification that the card was being ordered and its in production!!!!!

wow that was so quick approval. congratulations 😀
