that’s good to hear. Should go rather quickly from here. Good luck with your interview. Be prepared with photos, joint accounts and anything else needed. Just do a search here and you can read what others brought. If your meeting is in Boston consider a new medical with a Civil surgeon if your spouse medical is a year old. Ours was 7 months old and we required to get an updated medical, but it also depends on your IO adjudicating your case.
We moved from Boston to Orlando back in November. We did do the move notices before we left and have been getting snail mail here. Yea we were having an hard time with banks but bank of America did it for us. We r living with relatives so nothing else is joint. We wanted to make sure Florida was the right move before we got our own place. but maybe we will b4 interview I know that will help, Thanks and God lUck to you both

Thank you, yes I had an account with them and then went to add my beneficiary with her SS# and Marriage certificate and still wouldn't give it. I guess its whoever is managing the branch. So not fair. We going to go to Bank of America next we heard they will accept us. I will let you know.

I live in the South Florida area and I was able to open a bank account in Chase without a social or anything. As long as there is 1 person in the account with a social/citizen, you can just give your passport with your visa or whatever you have and that is enough. Now that I have my social I added it to the account. It has been this way for years because I’ve had a bank account with my mom with no social for at least 5 years. Been to multiple branches.

We called the uscis number May 9 2019, since we are way overdue on travel and work. Both of us had to confirm who we were on phone. She told us that no one picked up the case after we did the e request
all she could do was out in another request. Couldn't give us an date it would be approved. Waited 30 minutes on phone at 10 am.
No news as of yet. We are staying with Moeshas Aunt so we don't have rent or utilities under both names as of yet. Hope that is ok. We will move into our own place once we get the travel and work approval, hopefully before our interview date. Chase bank wouldn't give us an joint checking account here in Orlando, but we heard Bank of Boston would give us one without the green card. I will let you know if they approve an account. I think the Orlando office is way behind on everything.

Nope.
Travel and work stays at NBC, where it has always been. They process all that stuff so moving has no impact on those applications.Locations only matters for GC
Ok good we were wondering whats taking the work and travel approval so long, we did biometrics in august.

Hi Everyone happy for all your progress so far! And to those waiting for work ,travel and green card. we are still waiting for all of them. we moved from boston to orlando, did the change of address and got an email that they got the change. but now i dont know what office has our travel and work files.

Boston filer too, and I just got an email with interview sheduled but no dates. Have you gotten the paper notice ? Does that have dates and details ?
Hey @Kels00 we got notice for sept 5 biometrics that they received it and updated sept 6 on uscis website. They got the travel packet on july 30, and stated sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. I didn't get any paperwork in snail mail yet. Did you get anything in mail?
-
Update : Got text and email 8/13 that they accepted July 30 all 3 packages. thats how long it took to get an answer. The email says they follow up with an letter with 7 to 10 business days.

did anyone send the form I 131 application for travel outside usa? It says an additional $305 us Is trhat true?. I submitted it with the aos , so I just sent the $1140 + $85 for biometrics
-
Hi All, I did usps in boston to send to Chicago, they got it in 2 working days regular mail. they sent us all the forms back July 20 because I didn't pay the biometrics fee of $85.00. We only sent the $1140 usps money order. Just so you all know. I figure I could pay it when they send us an Biometric appointment.
We also forgot an page for the employment request. but we are happy that's all so far and that at least they checked everything with in 2 weeks.
-
filed aos july 2 Chicago lockbox, received, money orders not cashed yet.

Do u still have to fill out the I693 form even though you not doing another Medical in the USA? Do I still have to make an appointment with n civil doctor? I didn't get an copy of my medical when I left Jamaica, so I have nothing to send for aos. I came feb.2018 and starting AOS paperwork now.

Hey everyone, we were able to get Massachusetts Health care coverage. We just went to the local hospital and to emergency room and got signed up. Moesha had n cold from this Boston weather and changing of diet made her n little weak. We did find n Jamaican restaurant in the next town over and they sold some dry food too. I was able to get her fav fish red snapper at my work so that helped to get her back to the food she used too.
Next stop Social security and marriage this month.

Hi everyone, We had our interview today in Orlando Fl. On June 5, 2019, we scheduled an interview for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status. The appointment was for 720 am. We didn't wait long. Joel was our interviewer, he was serious with his questions. Pretty basic questions, we were expecting more intense questions. Cuz of age difference. We brought pictures of wedding and places we visited, Christening pictures too with all three of us in them. He asked to keep about 15 of them. He asked for my 2018 tax forms which included Moesha and my Daughter has dependents, asked for mail sent to our address, any utility bills, lease agreement with our names on it. We didn't have utility and lease bills I explained to him we staying with relatives until we figure where we want to live. Copies of marriage and birth certificates for Moesha and Daughter. But we had cell bills with our names on it and bank letter with joint account. Then he asked if we had any questions and Moesha asked him how long it would take to get approval, he said he has to review everything and said they are far behind so it could take months. I said that we asking that because Moesha wants to go to school for nursing and work part time and get our Daughter in child care and school. I hope we hear sooner than months, but we happy we got through interview.
There wasn't that many people at that hour waiting maybe 20. Keep you all posted !
We did get Moeshas work card yesterday.
