that's cool! Did you guys include credit card and bank statements? If so did you include every for every month?

We did. The bank statements of our joint checking account was actually 90% of the total amount of pages.🙈🤣

I think we did quarterly statements for both but I'm not sure.

We only have one joint American Express credit card account. Less than 10 pages total at that time.

It's not about how many pages you send it's about the quantity. Comingling accounts ( credit, bank, phone lines, memberships), same address ( unless one of the people works out of state).

We only sent 10 pictures I think.

Is your spouse still in the military?

You might also contact your local consulate, mine has a list of available  resources, locally, and from the homeland.

    Unfortunately he's not anymore.

We both make more than to qualify for state support which on the one hand is good but I wished it was like in Germany where parents get some support for the first year.

Why do you think the government should pay child support to you when you’re married and expecting your husbands child? Even if you separated it would still be your husbands responsibility to pay child support for the child..

As parents or expectant parents it’s your responsibility to plan a family that both of you can financially support

    Holy Moly.

    I was just asking.

I had no idea that the US doesn't support parents who earn more than to qualify for state aid/support.

    It was just a question.

As a green card holder you should not seek public support, but technically nothing stops you from doing so.

The consequences of seeking support are:

    1) Your US citizen sponsor(s) (husband, friends, family) that signed the I-864 can be sued by the government to recoup the costs of public benefits you acquire

    2) If and when you apply for US citizenship, any public benefits you received will be counted against you.

Your US sponsor(s) signed the I-864 as an affirmation that they will support you and that you will not need to seek tax payer supported benefits.

    I'm aware of this.

    This is such a mess...

  5. Hello lovely people,

I technically can apply for the US citizenship in October but I will wait until I have my certificate from the German government saying that I can keep my German citizenship and acquire a second one.

Do I have to mention that I ran a red light and passed a stopping school bus? I got pulled  over by a police officer shortly after I ran the red light and handed me a document saying that I will be getting something in the mail. My car got caught on the school bus camera and I had to pay a fine.

My husband and I found out Saturday morning his new card is being produced. We were an SRC (Texas Center) case. We thought we were going to be interviewed because we were not interviewed for AOS and it had been transferred to our local office. So, it was a pleasant surprise! I guess whoever looked at our case was convinced with the huge package we sent last year. I am so glad we did not get an RFE, cause I literally have nothing else to give them except I am listed on his car title. Oh, and that we have a new cat. Haha!

    Congratulations :)

I had the same happening to my case. Got approved on May 28th.

    Hey guys,

    Vermont center here.

I filled July 2019, May 2020 got an RFE and today got a message that my case was transferred to a different office.

Does that mean I'm getting an interview? (I did have the initial AOS interview).

    Thanks.

    Not necessarily.

My case got transferred to my local field office and I got approved without an interview. I didn't even have one for my AOS.
