I did not realize you had to have a picture of you and the family. I met my fianc parents but we don't have a picture. What if the parents don't like you ?

Don't worry , this is Ghana embassy. A friend of mine had picture of fiancée and his family and was refused. Reason was that in Ghana , when both families meet, it's technically considered as marriage and they were told to go for cr1. They had to come back and start all over

Sorry to hear that my fellow Ghanaian. Go to court and marry him and come back and file CR1/IR. That one is moving pretty fast now. There's none you can do right. No need to argue with him because nothing was his fault. That embassy is being hard on the K1 now. Since last year, I can't count how many people I know who got refused not on this platform. Can you find a co-sponsor just to be safe? All income you're trying to use is not money from work or earned from a job. It's money given by the government to "rightful owner". Please to make things easier, try getting a co sponsor. Good luck

How well you know each other should be your concern. 1.5 years and one time meeting shouldn't be a problem. Most regular jobs have about 2-4 weeks in vacation in a year. So one time meeting is reasonable. I believe you should calm she down and let her be relaxed because anxiety can cause you guys deadly. Good luck to you both.

My wife is US Citizen am a Ghanaian, I met her online,she came to ghana we got marry for her first time of visit.our marriage was traditional,we went to court for marriage certificate,only her came to Ghana ,and my family and friends signed as witness, she have no Marriage record I also the same,she have two kids ,I have two kids.she talk to my children I talk to her children and her family members.,she is also five years older than me.

she is coming to Ghana for her second visit and if possible she she will be here during my interview.

She file for me and and case completed with the NVC now waiting for my interview day,

one thing is that all my petition and case completed within Five months,is it a good sign or...

You're good to go. The only thing to worry about is marrying on her first visit and meeting online. Most people from Ghana have come here to complain about that issue and that particular embassy being tough on such situations. Each case is different tho. Good luck.

I am new here and its been a year since i am trying to get learning permit i fail it 4 times could be 6 times om computers i dont know what to do english is my second languages i can pass driver licenses but i cant pass the learning permit i have drive licenses from my home country is that possible if they can taken my written test to issued me drive licensee i am 31 years old i already pass drugs and alcohol test i dont know what to do please help i am so depressed i have job also

I can understand how frustrating it is. Let someone from your country whose good in English sit with you, then read together and help translate it in your language for you. So that way you can understand better. Good luck and don't give up.

Yes. I've been sending them an emailed almost every two weeks for about 9 months now and havent gotten a single reply. Not a single reply. From what i read they are backlogged and are busy so there is no one to reply emails.

If you've gotten zero reply from the emails, that's means nobody is seeing them or updating nothing. Call them. Their email is back logged to medusa days. Call them and talk to someone that way you have a record of communication. Sorry it has taken this long.

You overstayed which is not a ban from the USA. I will be more worried about the arrest because it doesn't look good either it was for trespassing or for speeding or for murder. Seek legal advise.

I understand most people have screwed it up for people like us but one thing I believe is, if your portion is included you will get it by any means and anyways necessary. God be with us all. Does it have any relation with the presidential election ? May be they put off everything till Trump won the election and stop people from other countries entering America , specially African and Muslims ?

That will be very funny and hilarious because I know immigrants make a huge percentage of America. Especially African who hold more than two jobs, not on welfare because we plan on being our families here and want to prove to the government we can take care of them. Stopping my partner from coming will require most of the constitution to be rewritten because I am American and that will be denying me my rights. Donald trump might be a president but he can't rewrite the constitution alone.

Yes if you can read and understand English then you checked off the right thing. I did not add a cover letter to mine and had no problem. No I believe you're sending a paper application so I will advise you add a check or simple put, just buy a money order with the credit card and add it to the application.

Yes everybody's case is with adjudicating officer. That's an officer handling the case to either approve it or deny it.

As for paying the bill, the problem here is that the hospital wouldn't give any details until she is here in person and complete the documentation.

Simple just mention of the bill were not taking care off, you' will be more than please to take care of it now. Also provide evidence of you having the funds to pay the hospital. Just know hospital bills can be up to $10,000 or even more depending on how complicated it was. Don't say something just for saying sake.

This means your request for expedite service is denied because you didn't provide enough evidence so there fore you will have to wait like everyone else. I'm sorry but patience is a key in this journey. Good luck.
