You can also call NVC to go over the choice of agent form (DS-261) on the phone which will speed it up. It is not the AOS fee holding it up, but the approval of DS-261. After you call the payment for IV is generally unlocked within 48 hours.
I called NVC to go over DS-261 before I made the AOS fee payment yesterday morning. I just checked my bank account and it shows the $120.00 deduction in transaction... Hopefully the IV fee will be available within a matter of hours or day..

That's what I figured
If you have already reviewed your DS-261, give it 24hrs to unlock your IV fee.
I will!!!!

If it allows you to pay, then go ahead and make the payment. Mostly IV fee doesn't get unlocked unless you call and review your DS-261 over phone. Let us know your experience.
I just paid the Affidavit of Support fee, it's in process now. However, when I click to pay for IV, it takes me back to Invoice page of the Affidavit fee (and it shows my payment in process). No other fee available now..

I called them, I reviewed it and the guy said that it should be available "within a week", however, when I logged into CEAC and clicked on the fees, it gives me the option to pay it. I will try to make the transaction and let you guys know how it was.
You still need to call to review your DS-261. The IV fee may have the PAY NOW, but it won't be unlocked until you review your DS-261. But, you can pay the AOS fee now if you'd like.
Thanks!!!!

Yeah hopefully you should have your AOS fee unlocked by tomorrow. Once you filled DS-261 online, you should call NVC to review it over phone. Once they review it your IV fee will be unlocked within 24 hours after the review.
I logged into the CEAC page and it already has my IV/Affidavit of Support fee available.
Should I still call regardless?

You can go ahead and complete DS-261 and pay AOS fee if it is available.
Just did it!!! Now I'm waiting for the AOS fee to be available..
thanks!

I received my Case/Invoice number yesterday, so can I complete the DS-261?? Or should I wait until I receive the letter/e-mail from NVC? I've been looking through other posts but I haven't seen any straight answers... Or maybe I missed that part..

One last thing, in regards to documents needed for the Affidavit of Support, when would my letter of employment have to be written by? (for example, would it have to be written within the last month/3 months/etc of receiving letter from NVC)
I apologize for the frequent questions..
Thanks again!

Hello all,
My I-130 was approved about two weeks ago and was informed that it would be sent to NVC. I contacted NVC on 7/11/16 and was informed that my packet just arrived on that same day, and to call back within 2-4 weeks to check status. Now, what EXACTLY do I need to submit to NVC? I keep getting confused... Do I resend the copy of the packet (supporting documents), Affidavit of Support (and fees), my spouse's police certificates, etc? I would like to start gathering all documents necessary so the process won't be prolonged once I receive the letter from NVC.
Thanks.

My AOS fee is now shown as "PAID" and my IV fee is "IN PROCESS" Can I proceed to complete the DS-260 form?
On that section it shows "NOT STARTED", whenever I click there it's just a blank grey screen, unless I have to go straight to that page...
