  1. You can also call NVC to go over the choice of agent form (DS-261) on the phone which will speed it up. It is not the AOS fee holding it up, but the approval of DS-261. After you call the payment for IV is generally unlocked within 48 hours.

    I called NVC to go over DS-261 before I made the AOS fee payment yesterday morning. I just checked my bank account and it shows the $120.00 deduction in transaction... Hopefully the IV fee will be available within a matter of hours or day.. :clock:

  2. If it allows you to pay, then go ahead and make the payment. Mostly IV fee doesn't get unlocked unless you call and review your DS-261 over phone. Let us know your experience.

    I just paid the Affidavit of Support fee, it's in process now. However, when I click to pay for IV, it takes me back to Invoice page of the Affidavit fee (and it shows my payment in process). No other fee available now..

    I called them, I reviewed it and the guy said that it should be available "within a week", however, when I logged into CEAC and clicked on the fees, it gives me the option to pay it. I will try to make the transaction and let you guys know how it was.

    You still need to call to review your DS-261. The IV fee may have the PAY NOW, but it won't be unlocked until you review your DS-261. But, you can pay the AOS fee now if you'd like. :)

    Thanks!!!! :goofy::goofy:

  4. Hello all,

    My I-130 was approved about two weeks ago and was informed that it would be sent to NVC. I contacted NVC on 7/11/16 and was informed that my packet just arrived on that same day, and to call back within 2-4 weeks to check status. Now, what EXACTLY do I need to submit to NVC? I keep getting confused... Do I resend the copy of the packet (supporting documents), Affidavit of Support (and fees), my spouse's police certificates, etc? I would like to start gathering all documents necessary so the process won't be prolonged once I receive the letter from NVC. :clock::cry:

    Thanks.
