It was easy peasy. The IO asked couple questions about husband's birthday, work, where and how we met, previous marriages. And off course the YES/NO questions. At the end she said: looks like there are no red flags. My oldest file wasn't there at that time, so they wanted to wait in order to process it as family file.

I waited over a month anxiously and finally decided to travel internationally. Last week I received ( after 30+ days) a notification that the card is being produced. I haven't received any notification for the kids yet, but I guess that will happen soon.

Congrats! My case just got updated and my interview is scheduled for the 28th of next month. But my husband who works in the military won't be in town because of a work trip.... Kind of confuse on how to go abt the whole process?

I'm not sure whether there are exceptions for military or not regarding presence during the interview. When we went for our interview, my husband was waiting at the front desk for the supervisor for a confirmation about our oldest case. I went ahead but the IO didn't even want to take us to the interview room untill my husband could join us. Without the partner there won't be any interview. But again, maybe there are exceptions for military members.
