  1. Hi', thank you for taking the time to respond.

Can we make a schedule of our medical anytime? We're just afraid that what if we already have schedule for interview and no such available slots at SLEC for medical prior to the date of our interview.

    Thanks,

I believe St. Luke's doesn't accept appointments, but Walk-in only. Good luck!

  2. My fiancée had her interview Sept 13th and the CO didn't tell her if approved or not. She just took her passport and told her that she will receive it back within 7 -10 business days. She kept on checking CEAC every hour for results because she wasn't sure.

    CEAC

    09/13/16 - Administrative Processing

    09/14/16 - Issued

    09/15/16 - In transit

    09/17/16 - Passport Received

    Good luck to you both!

  3. I had my interview on last week Friday and was approved. gave me a white paper indicating where I will get my passport ,but when I check on ceac site today, my status is saying that am on an administrative processing, necessary administrative processing. Please is this normal. Thanks.

My fiancé just had her interview and was told that she will receive her passport within 5 to 10 business days and when she checked online, it also said Administrative Processing.

  4. Good Afternoon Everyone!

We finally received our NOA2 via text/email on Friday evening. I've been reading where there were quiet a few people having long wait times for their petitions to get sent to the NVC. Is there still a delay or have they caught up on sending the petitions over. Just trying to figure out what my wait to is going to be...2 weeks or 8 weeks.

    Thanks!!

It's usually two weeks to 30 days. Ours took 22 days.

  5. I have met a woman from the Philippines online. We would like to meet in person. She wants to visit me here in the US because it is not safe in her area of the Philippines, Dumalinao, Zamboanga del sur. The US state department does in fact have a travel warning for her general area, regarding kidnapping and terrorist activity. I am happy to have her visit me, however having not met her in person, I am not at all comfortable with wiring money to her for airfare, passport and visa fees etc. Any thoughts, suggestions regarding logistics of the first in person meeting? What were logistics of planning your first in person meeting? Thanks in advance!

US State Dept. " avoid all non-essential travel to the Sulu Archipelago and through the southern Sulu Sea, and to exercise extreme caution when traveling to the island of Mindanao, due to continued terrorist threats, insurgent activities and kidnappings. "

She has to get approved for a tourist visa to visit you and it may not be easy to obtain. I'm not sure if she already has one. You can meet her in Manila, Philippines. Good luck!

  6. Unfortunately it says that on all our NOA2 letters but that obviously hasn't been the case. I've been waiting 5 weeks now and so have a handful of other people, some waiting a week or 2 longer than me.

NVC states 6 weeks- if it's not here in 6 weeks scan a copy of your noa2 and email it to us.... USCIS is giving us some new ####### about 90 days till we send it out where it states nowhere on the approval letter or website etc.

Don't know what the hold up is or what's going on but it's clearly not that fast. Some people have gotten lucky though hopefully you are one of them :) good luck

Thanks and good luck to everyone. Hope all of us hear something soon.

  7. The approved petition letter, dated July 5, I received stated that they have sent the original visa petition to NVC in NH. And the NVC processing should be complete within two to four weeks. I hope that it's true and USCIS did send it for processing.

  8. I submitted my I-130 petition for my spouse on the 1st of March 2016. At the time my passport was due to expire in June 2016. I received an RFE on the 7 th of July asking be to send in an unexpired passport. However when I submitted my application it was not expired. Why would USCIS send me an RFE for that?

They probably reviewed your package starting July 1, therefore, your passport has expired. Just bad timing I guess.

  9. Adil & Jeanne answered this in post nr 20.

They have met only once during the years they have been together. He has been divorced 2 times already and it's never a good idea to show proof of money going in any direction.

I'm kinda worried now because I've met my fiancée only once this past February for two weeks and the rest we've been communicating via video chat and messaging for a total of 2 years. And I got divorced 6 years ago.

  10. i was denied under such reason that i dont have a relationship with him and it will be return to USCIS

What reason was given to you for not having a relationship with him when your application was denied? You have met the requirement that the petitioner and beneficiary have met in person during the two years immediately preceding the filing of the petition even if only for one week.
