  1. If she passes the interview they will tell her to come back the next day to pick up the Visa, unless it is a Friday, which I would assume she would return on Monday. Good luck and think Pink!!!!

I am so sorry... I can truly say to you "I know how you feel" Man, hang in there!!! if I can help let me know!

    Don

  2. Sorry, My love Vo sent me the Blue and Green form letter(s) The Consulate gives out to deny/request more information for K-129F visa petition but she sent them to larger to post here... That's a first  she went to the local net cafe to scan then and they scanned them with to many KB per each scanned form... sorry I 'm working on it..

  3. My Fiancée was denied the K-129F for the following three reasons.

    1. The Consulate interview person believes that because I wore the same color and style of clothes in our photos together while in VN together, they felt I was only in VN for 2 days. The Truth: I was there for 14 days. I have several sets of work clothes and one suit I wore during the ceremony thus the belief 2 days in Vietnam.

    2. My very good friend of over ten years is Vietnamese. His family has welcomed me to all Family events and Holidays Events for 10 years before I ever thought about marrying a woman from Vietnam. I trained my friend ten years ago when we first met. Ten years later I chose to meet a Vietnamese woman thinking my friends who come from Vietnam, would help in my fiancée transition from VN to USA and no, My fiancée and my friends have never met nor are they related by blood or by friendship or anything else. I never shared with my friends that Phuong and I met each other until six months had passed and I was sure I loved my future Vo. (with this out of the way) I will continue, One year after meeting and falling in love with Phuong I wanted to met her, So, While my buddy for eleven years now was in China Town “one day” I asked him to pick-up a round trip ticket for me (because it was cheaper in China Town) I paid my friend back. Five months later I was on board EVA Air going to Ton Son Nhat airport to met my Fiancée and see if it “clicked” Yeah man!…I confirmed that I/we did indeed love each other, she 41, I, 48 years old. I returned to USA and began the process for the K-129F visa paperwork, which was in October 2004.

Now, nine months later it interview time. Consulate wants to know who paid for my ticket to fly to VN because I have been up front with everything I do with anyone who wanted to know in the application process. I did not want any problems… Sure enough, The Consulate believes fraud relationship exist… WRONG I said, I have been up front straight all a long… and now… you want to deny/revoke my petition! If my friend were Italian, Canadian, French or Native American it would be ok if they purchased my ticket? I was upset!! However, today, “not then” but today, I understand why the Consulate did what they did I need to understand. With the amount of fraud, they (Consulate Officers in VN) see everyday and what I read in the newspaper about recent frauds coming out of Vietnam it is no wonder.

Anyway, I waited for months and months for my chance to be heard before The Nebraska Service Center where I won and proved our relationship is true and sincere. This is when I received our REAFFIMED petition letter where (a year later) it still sits now/today in the Visa Chiefs Office since July 14 of this year waiting for the visa chief to act on the letter and give my true love another interview date…. Still waiting Consulate…

    Oh, The third reason…

    3. The Consulate felt by removing 2 photos of our 150 presented at interview (for later private inspection I guess?) that only six people sitting around a table were the only people who attended our Ceremony… Duh, as I pointed out before NSC Please look at these other photos of the same ceremony… in this one there are 18 people in view… see them all in the back ground? This one, from a different view has 10 more differently dressed people… and here, some more in the West area of the location where we had the ceremony… over 80 people family, friends and coworkers of my Cung oi Attended.

Well, as I say to myself each day… hang in there… if the love “is true” it will not die, it only becomes older as time passes… it never fades… I will never stop! Until my Fiancée is home with me mai mai!

    Cam on =-)

Forgive my spelling and/or punctuation and any other text mistakes…

  4. I have the (blue letter) at work and I'll get there Sunday morning. Sorry, I do recall it listing reason(s) why visa is denied. I clealy remember the lack of english speaking skills was at the top... That's a bunch of ####### too..I know of many in VN being approved and not knowing a word of English.. I'll post it ASAP... perhaps someone else can post or remember the details of the infamous "Blue form letter" and the 1 minute interviews...

  5. Anh is all better, but I am still sick. It's been absolute hell and it just gets worse (my health). It's making life miserable for us and I feel terrible for Anh because she is so bored she can scream. But I cannot shake this sinus infection. It's wiped me out physically.

Talk about being tested right up front. :(

Did you get a Z-Pac from the Doctor? a five day treatment. works for me... only use twice a year.

  6. It's Friday night. I have no interest in going out because my baby is not with me. I live alone. How many other VJ members out there find themselves too often drinking some wine or other beverage of choice?

But I'm fine, not feeling sad - a little lonely. But my laptop, tv, and dog keep me company - and my wine. Anyways just wondering if anyone is doing the same.

I look around my house anxious, excited to feel what will it be like when Leo is here with me soon. What will be his favorite spot in living room, what side of the bed will he sleep on, will he fit into my house? That actually makes me feel great because I know its only a matter of weeks before it happens.

Toast to wine and having a glass/bottle with our loved ones very soon in our homes!

    Salud!

    Allie

Cheers to finding the love of your life and sticking by him/her no matter what it takes!!!!

This October 14 will mark a 2 year wait for me. No matter how bad things appear there is always somebody somewhere worse off. Hang in there.

  7. Ok, I have heard/read about “Administrative Review” AR at the Service Center stage. I have heard/read about Administrative Review at the NVC National Visa Center stage. I received this yesterday via email from the Consulate in HCMC, Vietnam:

Based upon our records, we received your re-affirmed petition from the USCIS on July 14. Your petition is now under a review by the Chief of Immigrant Visa Unit for further advice. We will contact your fiancée for further processing once we receive instructions from the Chief of Immigrant Visa Unit.

Please, only experienced VJ members respond.

Am I on Administrative Review at the Consulate stage now? I have read horror stories of long long waiting periods from other who are on AR at either the “SC” stage or the “NVC” stage at the initial processing of their petition. Being, I so far down the line in this process (see timelines) could I now be a victim of the long long waiting period waiting for completion of the Consulate Visa Chief to review my reaffirmed petition?

Thanks for “any” Advice of you personal experience and “sorry” you have gone through it. Unless you are “now” successful! Then I am happy! =-)

  8. Posts have been moved, all day long.

Who is the stealthy moderator? Yet, not listed as a moderator?

    Fess up, or not.

    I like covert action!!!

Shhhhh... I'm hiding in here. Nice to see your case is moving along... after how many Seasons went by??? I'm being stelth...shhhh

  9. Matt,

Aren't you moving to North Carolina too?

    Just Curious....

Good Luck, once you get that 1st year out of the way and she finally settles in, it's much easier. Again, I found the visa process eaiser than my wife's initial adjustment to the U.S..

Once my wife got her drivers license after 5 months, it was much easier also......

    Good Luck

Please enlighten me  What adjustments to the U.S. did you experience with your Vo? I feel lucky this time to get a visa. My wife will be a housewife (her choice) ok by me, she's 43 and I'm 50 our kids are grown. I can't sleep with one eye open

    You got your visa?

No, no visa yet. I feel lucky this time to get a visa. I am still waiting for the visa unit to say to us... We have your file from NVC and we will schudule a interview ??? I thought my posted timeline would set to "mood" still waiting, but feel lucky "this time" in addition to the reaffirmed letter from Nebraska I hire an attorney in VN who is very active at the consulate in HCM. He lives and pratice immigration law in Vietnam. sorry :innocent: didn't mean to mislead hope. When I posted the inquire I had a brief, very brief moment that something would change. The waiting for me, at this stage is like trying to fry bacon in the Antartica but I left the gas can at home...ya know what I mean.

  11. Keep on and keep up your focus, it's now the time to prepare for the interview. Monday was a bad day for some of us in HCMC, with the Blue for Mike and Huong. Where the consulate just turned away hundreds of crying and including one pregnant fiances that morning, White and Blue slips were issued without a pink. Based on the conversation I had with Mike and his fiance, I hope he doesn't mind. I am not sure what's going on in HCMC, this is a pure guessing, but it seems the holiday (Labor's Day weekend) is coming fast, C.O. need a break, and that maybe the case where they just want to delay approvals for a few days. So, please remember our brothers/sisters who are still stucked in Hell Hole of Blues in your prayers.

I hope the PINK will start showing up again. Please, stay 100% lazer focus on your case, prepare and go over evidence with your fiances and continue to prep her how to interview well, as well as getting her ready to move to America, 100% different than VN or any other country they may have been to live or to study. As always, I believe the power of VJ will help us through, the support will endure us, and last but not least, stay focus guys!!!

Good luck to those who just got approved (NOA2) and ones who about to interview....

I know that blue feeling all to well. That sudden shock, the scramble to overturn, the frustration. I was devestated for a while and felt like giving up the relationship. Then I regrouped and prepared myself for next plan of gathering information to challenge the officers decision. The visa chief will have the final say and will review the decision again before sending the case back so there is a chance there. I understand the process and will help in any way I can. NEVER QUIT

  12. Just a clarification... my (ex)fiance has the maturatity of a two year old and insists he can't live without me for one day, let alone several months. He says I have to choose between him (and leave immediately back to morocco) or choose my job. I'm several thousand dollars in debt with monthly credit card bills and a car payment. so leaving and quitting my job is not an option right now. when i told him (before his nice little ultimatum) that I COULD quit my job in december, that wasn't good enough for him. the fact that he gave me this ultimatum pisses me off and makes me realize that i would be living under a cloud of control for my whole life. so yeah.... anyway, i just needed to vent somewhere, i hope it at least provided a little bit of humor for you guys! and luckily my cancelled petition will help someone get processed jsut a little bit faster!

TELL Junior to pay off your debts and you'll review your situation with him (put the ball in his court) otherwise... Hit The Road Jack! and don't ya come back no more, no more, no more... You know how the song goes...

You are smart... give em lunch money and pin a one way ticket to his shirt and drop him at the airport.

  13. Man, you though war is bad... Don't piss the Jews off! I'm at war with this SOB! he's mine!

    YOU, have a serious problem!

I've been advice that my file is lost! My fiancee called the Consulate to get current information of our petition and they (the consulate) knows nothing of our file. I paid good money for representation.

I will fly down to your law firm (within one day) and file a complaint with the bar association to pull your license to practice law in these US and any gobal US consulate /embassy on this earth. I've been ripped off before! by chump attorneys and this is the last time...

Keep your passport current you WILL be arrested at "any" point of entry.. and with Into pole inside the US embassy within Hanoi and Europe, YOU will be held and detained. get a feel, you ###### the wrong person!

  16. I thinbk iceyspots speaks for everyone:-).

I posted that as a joke. Funny how one "flips" when the obvious comes into view.

Stay Happy and Healthy as the gains of sand falls through the hourglass of time. Hi william33

  17. Martinart,

My fiancee and I call them very often. I also email them. They are responding professionally and quickly by the way. Sometimes, email replies can be 4-5 days or hours depend on how busy they are.

    Give them a call Monday.

    Nhatrang.

That is news to me. Every time I have emailed them, it has always taken about 1 week for them to reply back. Maybe their case load has been smaller due to IMBRA, and have more time to answer more responsively. All I can say is to call if you have questions, but make sure you don't call them with a question every other day. I fell the same as you, I don't want them to have a reason for someone there to give us a problem.

GOOD LUCK! Think Pink! Be sure to let the rest of The Vietnam Seekers know how your interview went  All the best!

    Don

  18. I send $200 per month to my fiancee and sent enough to pay for a new computer for her. Nearly 2 years now we chat and web cam daily. She would walk in heavy rain to chat with me at the net cafe. Once I was aware of this I got her a computer for her one room home. I think nothing of it to send money because I want her happy and keep her mind on other things rather then wait wait wait... I hope we get another interview real soon.
