  1. My job is "permanent" I have company paid benefits and our health dental and prescription insuarance plans are from my job and also my husband is listed as my beneficiary on my jobs life insuarance. So what would the letter from my job need to say? Of course I would print out some check stubs since I get direct deposit.I know no employer wants to write that they have given anyone a "pemarnent" job ?? Tell me more pls.

    Thanks

  2. If my husbands income for 2006 does not meet the poverty guidelines but since I have recived my EAD me as the AOS applicant I have a permanent job that exceeds the poverty guidelines. Can I use my check stub and a letter from my job to show job stability and proper n enough income?? Can we also support that with his check stubs for this year showing he does make more than the poverty guidelines requires??? Any advice will be appreciated especially from anyone with experince on this issue.

    Thanks

  3. On my I485 it says

We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. You should expect to receive a written decision or written update within 60 days of the date we received your response unless fingerprint processing or an interview are standard parts of case processing and have not yet been completed, in which case you can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done.

I got this after my RFE was recived by USCIS on 11/27/2006 does this mean I will get the interview letter by 01/27/2007 becasue this will mark the 60 days or is this just part of how they word their website?????

  4. I didn't take my husband's name, either. My green card is in the hyphenated state already. I intended to keep my name because my passport is in that name and I have no intention of changing my passport. When my green card arrived, both names were on it. I have no idea why, but I've continued using that.

Hey Velvettt when u went 4 your interview u did not ask the interview officer to have it changed but they just did it? I mean when u signed your AOS papers did u use your maiden or married name? Im in the same dilema I want my green card to be in my maried name as in maiden-married but when I signed the AOS papers my lawyer told me to just use my maiden name since I had not changed it on anyother documents. I dont want to go thru anymore paper work after I get approved and get my card God willing u know like what Chicken_Little is going thru.

  5. If finally got approved for my EAD :whistle::thumbs: now Im just waiting to recieve it in the mail the below info is what I recieved on my email
