  1. I got my approval e-mail ;):yes: but it says something about ADIT processing. What is that??

On April 12, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before you get your new card call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

  2. Well it was a 6 hr drive form where we live. We arrived on time of course about 40 minutes early we were called in 5 min. after our interview time. The interviewer was not the smiley type at all or so we thought. He swore us in. Asked for our IDs and my passport. He took my I-94 out of the passport. He asked me my bday and my husband his own. He asked my husband when we met and how long we were 2gether b4 getting married. He asked my husband why he decided to marry me. He asked for evidence of out lives together so I whipped out a huge chunk of proof. Then he asked me the NO NO NO questions. Afterwards he asked if I ever attended school since I was here on a F1 visa. So I told him I went to school for 2yrs and after I met my husband when we got pregnant the doctor put me on bed rest and I was not able to return to school after that. Then he asked my husband his proffesion and asked for our 2006 tax return luckily we had it. I was a nervous wreck the whole time. He then said the majic words "YOUR CASE IS APPROVED"  :dancing: :dancing: you will be getting a 10 yrs PR card. So then my husband broke the ice by asking him about a famous street in Memphis I have no clue what they were talking about I was in my own world by that time. A couple of laughs      Oh yeah I then asked him if it was possible for him to have my card sent with my sir-name/married name and he was more than happy to take care of it. He said I would have my card in the mail in 7-10 days. WOW after all I went thru I cannot believe this was it. Well he did not say anything about a FBI check so I suppose Im out of the wood works. Im crossing my fingers hoping the card comes with my name in correct spelling. Thank you all for moral and mental support. One love

  3. I called my bank and they verified that thay have not returnd any checks. I also called the pple who sent me the letter and they advised me that they will send me an affidavit of forgrey which in turn I will have to get notarized by my bank and return to them. I will also be making a police report tommorow.

The very stupid part of this is that the fake check was from a bank that does not even exist anymore they closed down years ago.The store that accepted the check admmitted to me that they did not ask for ID when the fugitive wrote them the check to add insult to injury the bank is affiliated with the store so one would think they know it does not exist anymore coz it was bought by a different bank. For pple down south you are probaby familiar with Krogers grocery store and Suntrust bank which bought out National Bank of Commerce (NBC. ) Damn Damn Damn pple are so stupid. :innocent: :innocent: :innocent::bonk: :bonk: :bonk: :bonk: :bonk: :bonk:

  4. Okay I have called my bank and they advised me there is not anything they can do because obviously the checks are not from my account because they did not return any checks. Besides that my check #s are only 3 digits but the allegation checks are like 4 digits long .I cannot not believe this nonsense. Well the letter I got is from the Check recovery center of the bloody grocery store. They actually think I wrote them but just made a mistake so they are reminding me to pay the money.

  5. Well I got a letter in the mail today saying I wrote a couple of bad checks last month at a grocery store that I have not been to since 2006. Besides that my check # s are still in the hundreds I dont write that many checks but the letter says the check #s are in the thousands. By the way dont they need to see ID each time the take a check?? Pls someone tell me what on earth I should be doing?? NOW

  6. So with the new Poverty guidelines for 2007 when we go for our nterview this month do they base the income on the 2006 or 2007 poverty guide lines???

Plus we have a letter from my husbands job since he is with a union so they have diffrent jobs depending on who has the current contract has anyone been is such a position b4?

He makes more than the poverty guideline requires but of course his W4s are not from the same company. Will that pose a problem??? I mean they shoud know that the union offers several different jobs? right?? :help:

  7. Okay Im making copies of everything they asked for on the interview letter. I need anyone of y'all to pls tell me if I should have all the paper work in 2 files one with copies and the other with originals or ... I dont know I mean do they ask for the paper work one a time or do they ask for the whole pile once and look thru it while asking the questions??? Im a little confused and nervous already We just have 11 days to go and Im slowly loosing it. Do I need to have our few pics in an album or just as singles???? B)

  8. The USC's DOB should not impact the FBI name check as the check is only for the non-USC.

And yes, you can point the error out during the interview.

I could've sworn I read that they had put her husband's DOB as her DOB on some of the "applications".... n/m then.

You are right. The Wacko lawyer has my husbands DOB on my EAD application. But it seems like they caught the problem because my EAD has my correct DOB. Damn mate I hope it all goes well for us.
