Yes! 7:20 am. ????? totally a wreck of nerves all week (the week has been #######)... Now more so with just 23 hours left. He said he won't sleep tonight!!! Poor thing

Still waiting on packet 4. The bad thing about CEAC is you can check if anyone has been looking at your case recently, or updating it... so I'm now constantly checking for any updates

I think it might be country specific, I noticed something similar when I was waiting on mine. But, who knows for sure.

Good luck. Our interview went well. I think it makes a big difference when you go with your fiancée during interview. It shows that your relationship are real. Did not even get asked about support paper. And interviewer just look at the photos we submitted on the original I-129 application. Asked how many times I visited her and where some of the pictures where taken.

Now just waiting for her passport back.

God luck to others as well. This has been an interesting journey so far.

I wish I could go with him' but I have to work ;( don't have much time off to use cuz I went to see him twice and I need that time off for when he comes to take care of things like social security drivers license etc.

Ok everybody, interview is Friday morning! Anybody heard any tips? For our consulate i heard to bring a gluestick! Even though we did the DS160 online, they want him to glue a photo to it anyway...something like that!!!

Best of luck to those still waiting for approval, and NVC case numbers!! Stay positive! Once you get that NVC id, it all goes fast!!!!!!

OMG i know!!! ridiculous! But a girl that had her interview two months ago told us to take one! Theyre's so stingy and money driven there!! ha ha ha ha how cheap is a glue stick that each agent could just keep one at the desk

Question and maybe I already asked it lol. Our case shows ready at the embassy, I just sent my packet to him should get there wednesday and we are waiting for the embassy to contact him for more information. Hard copy from nvc says next steps to go to a site and learn how to start the k visa and prepare for the interview. Does that mean to schedule interview date? or just look over the information? Can he schedule his interview while waiting for medical exam form?

ignore what the NVC hard copy says basically. Go to the individual page for your consulate and read the steps in how it works. No two embassy functions the same.

You can do the DS160 form right now online, probably even pay the visa fee. Ours is good for a year so we did everything before they emailed packet 3 to us.

They don't want you to schedule an interview until you have packet three and understand the directions required, including the medical. Our medical could not be completed without an appointment confirmation page. Highly recommend you find your embassy and read up on it.

It's Guatemala. They charge you for everything, including using the restroom in public and at the border of belize! Ha ha thank you we are both nervous!!

Our first letter for intent to marry was scanned. Not sure about the second. The steps say to do another one. Have you already received your packet from the fiance? With the copy of the i-129? They could send with that. I am doing that now.

Is this mandatory? Or suggested? Our packet didn't ask for anything like this... But our narratives both stated our story and that we intended to get married....

Just got the email 40 mins ago that they approved my visa petition yesterday. So now the wait for NVC starts. I'm really happy as I was worried it might take longer. But I'm hoping to get my medical booked for mid may once I get the number

Took me 15 days or so for it to get to nvc.... Approved March 4, they received the 28, case Id March 29. Consulate March 31.

We did the ds160 as soon as the nvc gave us a case number. And paid the visa fee as it is good for 1 year...at least for our consulate

Hmm well I will try tomorrow. I called the number I think you gave me cuz I was on the immigrant line first. That one asked for receipt number. But then realized I dialed the wrong number I believe so tried the first one given to me and said passport number

Varies by consulate. I got the NVC notice in the mail a week after the consulate already had it. The consulate emailed both of us three working days later. And it's up to us to do everything. Go to the NVC website and research on your particular consulate.

Yup just call every afternoon. (603) 334-0888 press 1 soon as you hear the voice. Ours arrived 15 working days later. Shipped to consulate on day 16 after approval.

Are you meaning before NVC contacts you to let you know they got the case? Mine was approved on the 17th and still havent heard anything How long does it really take? I know you can call after 30 days but I want to call now. Its almost been 30

So yesterday we received the NVC letter stating they've received an approved petition.

However, NO NOA2 has been sent to us and the website hasn't been updated.

You need that Noa2 letter at done consulate interviews...uf call uscis

DHL says case was sent to Serbia and should be there by end of day Monday!!!!!!!!!!! Woohooooooooo!!!

Will vary by consulate. Ours was received 3/31 and we got contacted by 4/5.
