  1. Great!

We had prepared DS-230 part 1 before getting the package, so all my fiance had to do was print the form, and fill out OF-169 and send back the day later.

Thanks Dan! I tried to help her fill out the forms. I just spoke with her and she was so very excited. She took the day off from work in order to work on her paperwork. I was so very happy for her. She has done a lot of work in preparation for her interview.

  2. Thanks for the information. I understand that these things take time. My fiance is telling me that I made a mistake on the I-129F and G-325A because I noted her address in English instead of using Chinese characters. Except for her signature the G-325A only ask for her signature in Chinese, not her address. I am sure that the Embassy in China will use Chinese characters when they mail packet #3. Am I correct?

As I know,it's hard to make sure which package is yours!I have received my package 3 last month.I waited for 3months after my case has been sent to guangzhou consulate. If you haven't gotten your package 3 in 1month after your case has been sent out of NVC,it means that your package was in guangzhou custom. Then you have to wait about 2 or 3months to get your package in hand.
  3. Once the K-1 petition is approved it is then forwarded to NVC who then forwards a package to the respective Embassy. My question. Those the package sent to the U.S. Embassy include all of the documents which the petitioner submitted with the I-129F? My fiance is nerveous and has consulted with a lawyer in China. He is feeding her some information and is telling her that she needs documents such as my divorce decree etc which is already included in my package with I submitted with my I-129.

  4. I had a similar situation. My ex-wife had emotional problems which I ignored for years and it finally bit me in the butt. Anyway I pleaded no contest and paid a fine and community service. Bottom line is that after I completed my community service I received an affidavit stating that I had completed my community service and as a result there was "No Conviction". I consulted with an immigration lawyer and he advised me to provide to disclose everything on my RFE. My petition was approved. I am going to discuss the situation with my fiance and my neighbors will also contact her and vouch for my character. I believe you best make you disclosure in order to avoid any complicatons with you application

  5. I posted this on another forum and got no response. Please help.

Our petition was approved and the package was forwarded to the U.S. Embassy in China on Nov 14th. My fiances translator provided me with my fiance's daughters name which I filled in on the I-129F and the G-325A Turns out the the first name is incorrect. Will this cause a problem? I have filled in the correct name on the I-134 and have instructed my fiance to fill in the correct name on her documents such as DS-156 etc. I have also instructed my fiance to take her daughter to the interview along with her daugters birth certificate, passport and nortorized letter from her ex husband authorizing her to take her to bring her daughter to the U.S. Will this be ok? :help:

  6. I was finally able to contact someone at NVC. They received package on Nov 1st and forwarded to the U.S. Embassy in China on Nov 14th. I feel so much better now that I have some information. I tried calling Yang Bo this morning, but I guess she was in bed (11 AM China time). Can't wait for this evening so that I can pass on the good news. ;)
  7. This is really frustrating. I received my NOA2 with a notice date of Oct 18th. I have not received anything from NVC I have tried to call several times but have been unable to get a live person I note that some of you guys have a similar timeline and already have information from the NVC I emailed them today and I hope that I get some news soon. :(

I think you are a lucky pal that ur case is going in such good speed whereas it took me so much long to get my noa2 and i want soon my petition reach to nvc but till last time my fiance called and they told her the maximum time is 90 days i hope it dont takes so much long i m curious that i should know that it had reach nvc. I also want to know that online status at uscis will i be inform online that my case send to nvc or the online status job is finished once you are approved hope looking forward my friend reply me with their consent thanks
  8. On Oct 21st, I received via snail mail the NOA2 Approval of our petition. I just happened to log into the USCIS website and checked my case. It looks like it was touched today. I then checked further and it said that our case was approved today Nov 2. I then checked my email and saw 5 emails it said the following. Why would I get the approval via snail mail two weeks ago, then get this notice today? It someone at USCIS wacko or is it me.:wacko::wacko:

  9. I am allowed one dumb question per day, so here goes. Yang Bo is divorced. So I included her original divorce decree with the K1 petition package. My question is, will the the U.S. Consulate/Embassy in China return her divorce decree along with the other documents to her once they issue her visa? It suddenly occured to me that we will need this document when we file for our marriage license. I guess she can always get another divorce decree before you comes stateside. :help::wacko:
